I’m not sure these 5 star reviews are from real people they have to be friends with the chef or something to start they have bland marinara which is a sin in any good Italian restaurant our food took a long time to come out which was weird considering only 2 other tables were taken at the time. From the bread to the food just all lacking flavor this isn’t traditional Italian food by any means. Maybe it was just a bad night but I won’t be giving it another try will just go to Chiantis or little italiano for good Italian dishes

This place is a hidden gem. The Mahi New Orleans is one of the best seafood dishes in Shreveport / Bossier. I can’t believe i didn’t discover this place sooner.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Absolutely amazing experience at La Dolce Vita! The food was out of this world — every bite was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was just as impressive. Our waitress, Rachel, was incredibly attentive and friendly, and one of the owners, Susan, treated us like old friends. It’s rare to find a place that nails both food and hospitality, but they absolutely did. Highly, highly recommend!

Atmosphere was nice but the food was not great and the service was very poor. We ordered Redfish and shrimp with pasta alfredo. The sauce was good and the seasoning was good but it was all overcooked. Once we were served the Server never came back and they were not that busy. We had to ask another server to get out check for us then the original server came back. I don't think we will go back.

We were in town from Dallas. La Dolce Vida’s menu looked intriguing…what the heck, let’s give it a go.
We were lucky enough to sit in Ava’s section. She was attentive while not being intrusive. We ordered an appetizer of sausage in marinara, but they had sold out of the sausage earlier. The chef, Israel, personally came out to apologize (class act). Instead we got the marinated crab claws…tangy, lemony, garlicky, buttery. Man was it good.
A bottle of Chianti along with our entrees of Mahi New Orleans and redfish Giovani began an evening of romance(yowza!!)
Give it a shot you won’t be disappointed.

Just had a DELICIOUS hand made Italian meal at this hidden gem of a restaurant in Bossier City. Anyone who wants to venture out for some great change from the norm, come see them at the Airline Center shopping center. The owners are wonderful (and the Chef). They can also accommodate large gatherings and parties.

We have been twice. The food was great.

I’ll start off by saying the food was very good. Full of depth and well balanced flavor. I would return for that alone.

The atmosphere was cozy a true home styling but the circulation and temperature led to much discomfort. In short, stuffy and hot.

My service was okay. It was mostly 3/4 empty but I was sat way in the back by the closet. My server brought my drinks right away but bread service and taking my order took awhile. Which was fine since I had a glass of wine to sip on.
When they did come with bread and took my order, they apologized for the delay. Afterwards becoming hyper attentive which made me feel as though they were rushing to get me out of the door.

Probably harmlessly unintentional but when dining alone makes one feel that way.

Dining here was such an amazing experience! It is such a traditional Italian atmosphere and the food even more so! The service was amazing and the chef/owner was very friendly. I will definitely make another trip just to eat here!

The food did not taste good at all, they were out of multiple items on the menu, and a big language barrier. I spent about $30 and got a small approx 4oz piece of chicken, small bowl of pasta, and a few mushrooms. That would get me a lot more food at Lil Italiano or Notini’s.
