First time at this restaurant. The interior is interesting. Small inside. Tables are close together. It's quaint. The kitchen/bathroom area could use some TLC. Our server was very attentive and polite. From the look of the inside of the restaurant I was skeptical about the food, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. I had the ravioli michele and my wife had the mahi mahi blackberry. Both were delicious. The prices are pretty high, but the food is very good.

Was in town on a business trip and my client recommended to come here. Being from NY, this place was great. I didn't know LA had the second highest Sicilian population in the US. Pasta dishes and wine were amazing!

A group of my girlfriends and I came here for dinner for my birthday. We had called and made a reservation days ahead. An hour in were told that if we wanted to have entrees we needed to order because our table was booked with another reservation after us. The owner came to our table trying to rush us along after we were wrapping up and paying our bills. I simply suggested to him that he should let people know that there is a time limit on reservations made. He got very rude and loud with us enough so that it was drawing attention of tables around us and told us, "We were crucifying him just like we did Jesus Christ." I have been coming to this restaurant for years and I will never be back!!!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for years and it has always been a favorite of mine in town. The ownership has changed and now the food is bland and the new owner is very rude. After my most recent experience I will not be back.

First time visiting and absolutely enjoyed the heck out of it!!! Keep on doing what yall are doin!! I had the spaghetti w/sausage and sorry but dont remember exactly what the wife had but both dishes were excellent. Portion size was great as well. No complaints except my belly couldnt hold anymore but hey thats a good thing i think!

It been years since I been here. Anyway, we took our coworker here for lunch on her 40th birthday ?. We made reservations way in advance ...it was not very busy when arrived, so thought great, we will enjoy the food and get back to work in plenty of time...lunch was 3 minutes from being over and we finally get our food. Several in our party originally ordered lasagna with meat sauce but being they were out ..... lasagna for being just made was luck warm at best and the added cheese on top was just placed on. It started getting busy & the waitress did her best running around trying to wait on the whole restaurant. The guy that was host was trying his best also . Definitely needed more staff on the floor ....bottom line...I will come again but probably try something different and come for dinner so want be on time schedule.

My food was good, my 2 friends food was burnt. The waitress was never around, I had to go and find her. The manager was there, seen seen everything, but didn't do anything. My brother also go and find the waitress for water.Not going

The food was average at best. Our waitress was okay. I don't agree with them automatically adding a 20% tip to our ticket for a table of 6. Typically we do tip more than the 20% but do not agree with the owner's method of taxing a tip automatically. I've had better Italian food from chain restaurants.

Excellent traditional Italian restaurant. The breads are homemade, right out of the oven. Busy on Friday and Saturday nights, so make a reservation. Very nice atmosphere.

Everything changed once the original owner left. The food is always dry and bland now and way overpriced. The area inside is cool with all the writings on the wall and candlelight but it's definitely an old building with limited space. You will be squeezing your way in between tables and into the small bathroom. The waiters are always very hospitable and attentive though! I'd say I wouldn't be back until they lower the prices and get some better cooks unfortunately.
