Food was obviously old and reheated. Egg rolls full of grease. Crab rangoons cold. General Tso chicken was rubbery and lukewarm. Waste of time.

Best thing I can say - is we did not get sick. Probably enough said. … But here’s some details … We had high hopes given some of the stories and history of this place and its now-deceased original owner, but wow … service and food was as bad as you can possibly imagine. At some points, laughably bad. For example, our waitress delivered appetizers (and child’s meal) to us without plates. She then went to another table to talk to them and have a discussion with another server. When she came back by us, we flagged her down and asked about plates to which she said “oh yes, I was on my way to get them.” Strange. Meanwhile our hot appetizers had been sitting on our table, waiting for us … and her to bring us plates. Service was so very weird, and food was similarly poor. Also rather pricey for any Chinese food. So that made it even more disappointing when you we got such poor quality food and service. We certainly won’t be back.
The seating was nice and arranged fairly close to eatch other and clean table cloths. I didn't know it was a 5 star restaurant till. I order the beef on a stick.I would eat here again.
We drove by Lucky Palace after church and it was closed at 12:30 kind of disappointed website said it was open but it was not
Absolutely love the look inside, the food was excellent! Carly the waitress was the best waitress! I very highly recommend this place! Came from SETX to visit family. And I cant wait to come back and try it again!

I've been a fan of Lucky Palace for many years. The move to Louisiana Downs seems a very good move. The environment is very nice and the food may be even better than ever. The pork with garlic sauce was outstanding!
Long time customer in their old place, visited the new one and we will not return. We were a party of 2 and there was another table in the entire restaurant. We sat the and was greeted by the waitress (barely) who got our drinks. She returned asking for out orders and I told her we needed some time. Close to 10 minutes later, I motioned the hostess and she came and said she could just take our order. The hostess brought our appetizers, still not seen the waitress again. The waitress brought our food and said maybe 2 words. The food was horrible, the fried rice was insanely salty, the orange chicken was very chewy and had very little flavor. Husband got the general tsos and it was the same, with salty fried rice. The egg rolls were delicious though! The waitress came back with what looked like a ticket in her hand, and I asked for yo-go boxes. She left and returned with the to-go boxes and left again. We sat there with our food packaged up for about 10 minutes and never saw our waitress (remember there is our table and one other table in the entire place) before we just went to the front register. The hostess said we should have gotten a ticket but I told her that we couldn't find the waitress. The hostess tallied our bill, we paid and left. I will never go back. $65 down the drain.
Great food and good service. We will be back.
We came into the new location at the Louisiana Down for lunch bc we used to love the food at their previous location. The beef broccoli was rubbery, and my husband sent it back. We were told it would be removed from the bill. We were then charged over $60 for two orders of chicken fried rice and a lunch special of pepper steak. The waitress was very nice, but the cost in conjunction with the poor quality and location makes it not worth the effort.

Service was horrible. Some food was hot and some not. Were there 2 hours to order, get served, eat and pay! Not sure I would ever go back.
Not a good experience. The food was just so so in taste and salty, it was not very warm. The fried rice I did not care for, kind of a sweet flavor to me. One of the dishes tasted burnt. Won’t be going back, very disappointed.
I heard this is the place to eat in Bossier and it gets a lot of great reviews. My experience, however, wasn’t mind blowing. Food was good but I have had great Chinese and this was average. Maybe I ordered the wrong dishes but will give it a try again next visit. They do have an incredible wine list.
Under Dawgs Sports Grill’s staff Christmas dinner was held at Lucky Palace. What an amazing experience! Delicious food - appetizers, egg drop soup, orange chicken, beef & vegetables, sesame chicken, Szechuan shrimp, fried & steamed rice! The staff were attentive all evening, and boxed leftovers for us. Everything was perfect! Thank you Lucky Palace for a memorable night! We love the new location and happy to see the same staff! Merry Christmas! 🎄
Terrible service, slow is an understatement. We could've been finished with most lunches before the appetizer showed up. Finally our lunch arrived and that's the last time we saw our waitress. Never offered a refill and only 4 tables had people at them with us being the first 2 to be seated at 1100. Complaint landed on deaf ears, no apology no discount...will never go back nor recommend.
