Waited in line at register for 20 mins nobody ever got to us, me and four other people walked out that was waiting behind me. There was nobody in the kitchen either and two people waiting at the Togo register. This isn’t the first bad experience at this location lmao, don’t eat here

Food was about on par for any other McAlesters location (good), but the service was painfully slow. Employees had one speed and had no interest is being at work. Bathrooms are pretty crusty too. We regretted not going to the Jersey Mikes across the way

The staff working on 12/8/25 around 7:00 PM is the best I’ve ever experienced here. I eat at this McAlister’s at least three times a month and usually receive fair service, but tonight they perfected everything. Super fast, friendly, and a clean environment. There are usually people goofing off behind the counter and taking forever to get things done, but it was a solid crew tonight. I’ll definitely be back more often! Way to Go Vee

Not sure what the deal is. Tried to make an online order at noon, online orders were disabled. Tried calling (I called 4x in a row, someone else called twice) but the phone disconnects immediately after the recorded message. We're an office of 5 people and we couldn't spend our entire hour going there, making the order, and then waiting for it to be made. We wouldn't be able to have time to eat. If something was posted about why it's disabled I would understand, or if somebody would even pick up the phone. But there was no chance to get service without wasting the only time we had to eat. Just disappointed cause I really like the food.
Person taking our order was extremely rude. We ended up leaving and will not be returning

Came in at opening. Every table or both we tried to sit at was filthy. Apparently not wiped down from the night before.
We ordered 2 French dips. Instead of the Swiss it came with, we wanted provolone. They charged is $3 to substitute. The roast beef was so fatty, we only ate half the sandwich and pulled most of the meat off.
2 sandwiches, 2 drinks (which we got after the food arrived) and the chips the sandwiches came with, $52
Absolutely ridiculous 🙄

I have always enjoyed eating here. The prices are good and the food matches the price point. I've always gotten good service and it's been pretty prompt. I enjoy the variety of food they offer.

Great food and courteous staff. Made me feel at home. Will definitely come back when I’m back in town. Turkey BLT with a side of broccoli was absolutely perfect—hot and properly seasoned with salt & pepper. Thank you!

I forgot to write this review earlier, but I recently went to McAlister’s Deli for the first time since moving to Louisiana. After a long drive from Washington, D.C., my family and I needed something quick to eat. As soon as we walked in, the place had a nice atmosphere and a good vibe. A young man helped me with my order I believe his name was Javon or Javen and he was so friendly and professional. He guided me through the menu, gave great recommendations, and had a smile on his face the entire time. Our order was pretty big since there were five of us, but he stayed calm and patient, double-checking everything to make sure it was right. The service was perfect, and when the food came out, my whole family loved it. I left him with a $20 tip because he truly made our experience so smooth and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back because of him, and I hope I always get that same warm welcome. Thank you, McAlister’s, and thank you to Javen and the crew for the great service!

The only reason it’s not getting one star is the food is actually decent, the service however is atrocious. Waited 40 minutes for two sandwiches and a thing of nachos despite there only being two people ahead of us and six people total in the joint. On top of that, the cashier gave our food to someone else. Overall disappointing and honestly pathetic that this is how they operate this location.
Don’t get the nachos, they’re beyond disappointing. The sandwiches are fine but nowhere near worth the wait.
