The lady at the drive thru was so considerate and kind and so was the lady who prepared and bagged the food.its rare to find people who treat you so kind. They were both wonderful.

our singles group went last week to Youree Drive location. The food was very good, chicken, turkey, beans and mac and cheese.

Visited this place a second time as out-of-town guest. To summarize my experience....horrible. I entered the restaurant at 7:15pm (they at 8:00pm) and the server was dumping the mac-n-cheese in the trash. Once he saw me he placed the mac-n-chees back on serving line...needless to say it was old and tasted horrible. The meats (I had the sausage, brisket and chicken) were cold and the chicken was undercooked. I also had the green beans and they were cold...became obvious the green beans were setting on the serving line a long time. I am hoping I don't get food poisoning from this experience as I am travelling. This visit was such a let down compared to the first time I visited two weeks earlier. The manager was on duty this visit and the food was awesome. Only kids and young adults were on duty tonight when I visited and their only motivation was to close exactly at 8:00pm so they could leave. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Highly recommend NOT di ing at this place. Much better food available in Bossier City cooked and served by people who care.

First I want to start off with the service they were very kind and helpful I came in and wanted a vegetable plate with Mac n cheese and they didn’t have any I asked and they was already cooking some but while I was waiting they checked on me and updated me on it they had such good hospitality and they food is always good and I seen they the whole crew worked together I’m very satisfied
The manager was super sweet to us and very accommodating and told me next time call and they will open the door close to handicap parking for us to enter easier.

I was born and raised in the South. And I'm all about southern cooking. No better food to soothe the tummy. This restaurant has , by far, the best southern cooking I've ever eaten. The flavors are amazing. Turnip greens and black eyed peas are pure perfection. The meats are smoked and BBQed and juicy and tender. I can't wait to eat here every time we're in town. Do your taste buds a favor and give them some real southern soul food.
Me and husband eat at this podnah's alot when we come to bossier,I had been craving podnah's for about a month only to get disappointed the staff that I was use to seeing nobody was there. The briquet didn't have any season and it was tough and the ribs wasn't tender and the kicker the bake beans was swimming in grease!!! Oh my God where is the original crew? And the paper plates were paper thin your food would fall if it wasn't for having it on the tray so disappointed!!!
