I was born and raised in the South. And I'm all about southern cooking. No better food to soothe the tummy. This restaurant has , by far, the best southern cooking I've ever eaten. The flavors are amazing. Turnip greens and black eyed peas are pure perfection. The meats are smoked and BBQed and juicy and tender. I can't wait to eat here every time we're in town. Do your taste buds a favor and give them some real southern soul food.
Me and husband eat at this podnah's alot when we come to bossier,I had been craving podnah's for about a month only to get disappointed the staff that I was use to seeing nobody was there. The briquet didn't have any season and it was tough and the ribs wasn't tender and the kicker the bake beans was swimming in grease!!! Oh my God where is the original crew? And the paper plates were paper thin your food would fall if it wasn't for having it on the tray so disappointed!!!

Staff was friendly. Food was not what it use to be. Got chicken and brisket not seasoned and didn't taste like barbecue is supposed to taste like. Prices went up when the quality of the food isn't worth price. The best thing about this visit was my lunch date, the toast and my drink

Once we got the food home you could tell the chicken was not cooked a day or maybe a week ago. Chicken was like eating toothpicks. I would not take this food for free. The potato salad was pureed. They need to think about if they would eat it if not why sell to the public for money. I'll never visit this place again. The staff was friendly but maybe due to selling that terrible food. We left and we should of stayed gone but trying to support all businesses in this area never ever again. Try manisfield road they are better plus the food is cooked with love ill say.
Food is good but prices too expensive. Over $40 for 2 meals. We both got a 1 meat meal a drink and small portion of banana pudding. Not worth the cost.

First time visiting this establishment. Loved the turkey sandwich. It could’ve had a little more turkey; but I guess inflation is affecting everyone. Great,friendly staff. And the restaurant had a welcoming, relaxing and happy vibe. Keep up the good work (Bossier City) Podnuh’s !! ??????. P. S- I even asked the three staff members to pose for a picture!!
