Saltgrass Steak House

My husband and I went to Saltgrass in Shreveport last night for a date night. Soon as we walked in the hostess seemed confused. Asked us twice how many before finally sitting us. We both ordered steaks. His steak was over cooked and mine way undercooked. We both asked for medium rare. For an $80 meal I'd rather have stayed home and made my own steaks. Waitress was informed about the steaks and offered to have them make it again. It took forever to get our food the first time, so we kindly declined and ate what we could. She gave us a free cheesecake. Will not be coming back to this location.

Not sure how to rate this as we went there and we're not comfortable with the area... lot of deserted businesses and did not want to stay as the sun was going down. Looks like at one time it was a very nice shopping area. Now it just seems a bit sketchy.

I had the sirloin steak with a Caesar salad and fries. Steak and fries were delicious. The Caesar salad tasted like pure garlic. Unless you are a huge garlic fan, get the soup. Service was awesome!

I had the bourbon glazed pork chops which were a 9/10 some of the best pork chops I ever had, the Mac and cheese was 8.7/10 better than I expected although longhorns is better, the mozzarella sticks were top 10 all time, and I’ve had lots of mozz sticks but I would never forget about these, I didn’t have room for dessert because the bread and amazing loaded potato soup filled me up I love Saltgrass because we don’t have 1 in my hometown but it’s so unique and good!

Country fried steak was decent. But was kinda tough rubbery taste half way thru the food. Mozzarella balls were on point with flavor.

Got sat in the bar and waited for 20 min wasnt even acknowledged by a server or bartender there was 3 people there not including me

We have eaten at Saltgrass in Houston and it was very good. This location how ever the food was bad. The chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak tasted funny and gave us heart burn & indigestion. Would not eat here again.
