Upon our arrival at Sam's Southern Eatery, the place was nicely designed on the interior. The menu is not very specific on the types of fried
seafood that are offered. The shrimp batter was severly underwhelming in flavor. I was expecting some delicious fried catfish, all while receiving some tough, under seasoned white fish that was also very underwhelming in flavor. The hushpuppies seemed to be a bit overcooked, and the red beans and rice were lacking that Southern touch that was well-needed. Overall I was highly unimpressed, where is the Southern charm at this place?

I've had the Philly sandwich two times and loved it! I'll go again for that but do want to try some seafood choices as well.

The white girl at the register didn't put silverware in the bag, guess we were supposed to eat our $60 order with our hands. And she was rude to the kids and acted annoyed that we were there. She made a joke of the place!

Jo was my server he charged me for a full meal and didn’t put everything in there that came with the meal . will not return and do not recommend was EXTREMELY rude on the phone.

This was so underwhelming compared to the location near the airport. The food tasted like leftovers re-fried in old oil. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

Below average experience overall. Inside the restaurant was stuffy and warm. Bathroom wasn't really dirty but the Urinal was out of order and toilet needed repair as well. Seemed they was working short handed so service was a bit slow and trash cans were overfull. Food was less than desirable. Catfish was tough and chewy while the redbeans and rice was lackluster. I won't be returning
