This was so underwhelming compared to the location near the airport. The food tasted like leftovers re-fried in old oil. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

Below average experience overall. Inside the restaurant was stuffy and warm. Bathroom wasn't really dirty but the Urinal was out of order and toilet needed repair as well. Seemed they was working short handed so service was a bit slow and trash cans were overfull. Food was less than desirable. Catfish was tough and chewy while the redbeans and rice was lackluster. I won't be returning

Good food at reasonable prices. If you're looking for atmosphere, this is more fish camp than fine dining but better quality than the national chains

Called in an order for 1 dozen of fried shrimp and red beans and rice. The order was taken by Terry, now keep in mind
I arrived 20 minutes after ordering because he said 15 min. I didn't think to check my food being I'm a regular... Well let's just say my hush puppies were burned,and my shrimp tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp.... No more for me. They can have it. I'm cool

One of the go-to places when we want to get take-out. Yea it's kind of run down looking but the Fried catfish and shrimp are good. Hot wings are good. Their burgers are good. Fries are good. Try the Cajun tartar sauce if you like Cajun flavor and tartar sauce. They also usually have cakes and cheesecake sometimes (tho the cheesecakes might be the other location). The cakes and cheesecake are also delicious.

Sad to not be able to get some of this when my family and I pack it up and leave in a couple months. Thanks for always being good to us Sam's Southern Eatery.
