Sam's Tavern is a friendly little dive bar that welcomes all. It's a great spot for karaoke, with a Saturday night session from 8pm to 12am. The bartenders and owners are one of a kind, making you feel at home. When you walk in, it might seem like any other small bar, but soon everyone greets you and knows your name. Stay for a while, and you'll find that everyone is rooting for you on the pool table and karaoke. The bar is popular for hanging out with friends, playing pool, and enjoying a fun night out, despite allowing indoor smoking. They offer $3 domestics and have Irish Whiskey, which is rare outside of Jameson. Though they don't serve food, bringing your own like a giant box of French fries is welcome. Many visitors find this bar to be one of the most memorable places in a new city, with friendly, mature folks and welcoming atmosphere.
