“This is a great sushi place! They have more raw than cooked sushi which was hard for us since we aren’t likely to order raw. They have amazing food, and great service. We were there a total of 30-35 minutes. Super fast service. I wish I knew our waiters name he deserves a shout out!

We ordered 2 sodas, 1 sushi roll, bowl of chicken fried rice, & hibachi beef plate. Was $52 but I will say the food was great.“

“Sushi Gen has become our go-to spot for sushi!! They are consistent with taste, freshness, & quality! I have even stepped out of my comfort zone & tried new rolls that I never would have before (and still was not disappointed)! Tonight they have expanded into my new go-to place for noodles because their chicken yaki udon/soba is SOOOO good - if you’re looking for comfort food to cheer you up then gran an order of these!“

“We have been wanting to try this place since it opened and we are so glad we did! We ordered fried dumplings, two sushi rolls and got a third for free, along with beef teriyaki that we shared. My husband's Wasabi roll came with a Wasabi sauce that he loved. The food was hot and fresh and it was all delicious! Will definitely go back to try more of the menu!“

Sushi was great.
The dumplings were delicious. Best I've had in Shreveport.
Service was just ok, server seemed a little off.
Side note, Shreveport water is terrible. Don't order tea. Ask for bottled water or fountain drink with no ice.“

“Whole Foods has lots of vegan options in their deli section but it’s kinda been limited as of 2024 due to certain federal laws that have changed how stores can sell store made vegan food. As of right now, Whole Foods can’t make their own vegan baked goods like cookies or brownies in the actual store. Despite this, they still offer vegan sushi’s, vegan pizza slices, and vegan options in the pre made deli section. They also offer many refrigerated vegan options.“

“It was good. Smaller portions than other places but I liked the fast service from the waitress and atmosphere.

Kid-friendliness: I can't agree.. The hibachi chef stated "I peed on her" to my 11y/o grandbaby. The container was designed like a man with a pee hole. Not cool. Plus he kept saying other slick, sexual statements.“

“The customer is TOP TIER. The waitress MS. AQUA has phenomenal customer service. She kept a smile and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and gave good recommendations about the menu. I'm very big on customer service and I was more than pleased. The food and atmosphere was amazing also. Definitely worth another visit. 👍👍👍👍👍“

“Went tonight for the first time! It was delicious! Definitely a new fav place!!! Can’t wait to go back!!! Staff was great food was incredible and it was a nice set up. My only complaint was it was a little warm inside and the tables are super low. The booth was super comfy it’s just the table hits really low. But that’s all ok bc the food was just amazing!“

“We love the whole presentation of our Japanese restaurant. Our granddaughter (who is autistic) sometimes has problems with too loud and sound effects is a big part in the overall experience, so tonight our chef was thoughtful & great time all while a whole table of 8 kept his attention.
