The Wok Chinese Cuisine

I do DoorDash in my spare time to make a few extra dollars, and during one of my deliveries, I picked up an order from this spot. I told myself I’d come back and try it, and I’m so glad I did!

The wait was about 10 minutes, but it was well worth it since my food was cooked fresh. The customer service was outstanding—one of the best experiences I’ve had. The guy who took my order was friendly, patient, and kept me updated on when my food would be ready.

It’s a small restaurant, a bit hard to spot from Barksdale, but trust me, it’s worth finding. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good people with some good food and generous portions of food

This place is amazing. The food tasted great, portions were great. The guys working in there are good people, passionate about their work. I’d recommend to anyone who likes food with a chill atmosphere

Very comfortable, pleasant atmosphere, staff was outstanding. Food was delicious, I had the chicken with vegetables, my husband had the kung pao beef. I think we found our new go to place, when we're in the mood for Chinese!! Hidden little gem!!

Usually don’t leave reviews but had to for this.
Fried rice is very bland
Lo mein is just noodles nothing else also flavorless
Crab Rangoons were great
Seseme chicken is decent lacks sauce
Sweet and sour chicken is good

Overall not great, taste China or anywhere else in the area is a much better option

The food was okay. And I wouldn't call it authentic Chinese cuisine either. Also me and my wife ordered two different chicken dishes and they honestly looked like the same thing.

I'm impressed with the food here! I think I found my new Chinese takeout spot ? Come down Barksdale and check it out, you won't be sorry. The food in the photo is Beef and vegetables with fried rice and you get a choice of 1 spring roll or a crab ragoon. Yummy yummy

Absolutely delicious food!! This place is tucked away on Barksdale Blvd, a hidden treasure that’s worth searching for. Customer service is great, very friendly and welcoming. We had a big group and ordered the sesame chicken, pepper steak, orange chicken, Mongolian, lo mein, and the walnut shrimp…I tried it all and couldn’t pick a favorite. Their cook is incredible!!
