“After spending the day crying my eyes out & not eating all day, I got up to grab the closest thing that was still open. I placed a mobile order for a salad at this Wendy’s location. When I arrived to pick it up, they were sold out. I seriously felt as though the day couldn’t get any worse so I said, “Screw it. I’m so ready for this day to be done. I’ll just go to bed without eating.” Thank God Shaterika & LaToya were working the window that night!! They saw the frustration & disappointment on my face when I found out that my order was unavailable, and they were determined to make it right. I came in tears but drove off with the biggest smile. Those ladies had no idea that I was having such a terrible day. They were simply being themselves & doing their job. I have officially received the best customer service ever (definitely TOP TIER)…and it was from my neighborhood Wendy’s. Good people are still out there! “The Airline Drive location has wonderful people. So sweet. Genuinely friendly and helpful. Double checking on us. That’s not something you find very often in a fast food venue. I won’t lie I miss the Wendy’s of 30-40 years ago. Sadly that era has passed. The food was good. The $5 biggie meal may be the last “cheap lunch” left. But the staff made it feel like it was a lot more.“
“I work late so when I come in, it’s always the last crew that I get to encounter on Friday and Saturdays. They are all awesome. There is a gentleman I believe is a shift lead for the night shift and he’s so encouraging and so kind. I really can’t thank this location enough for being the smile. I need after a long day at work.“
