chicken fried steak was delicious and HUGE! Mash potatoes with the gravy was amazing.
Today was our first time, and I had the special, which was the hamburger steak. It was perfectly seasoned, and the homemade mashed potatoes were excellent with the brown gravy and sautéed onions, plus both of my sides. OMG, everything was well-prepared. The owners were fantastic. We will definitely be back... I give it six stars!

Big J's Homestyle Kitchen serves delicious homemade food with friendly service. The chicken fried steak is a standout, with brown gravy or white gravy, and the hamburger steak is perfectly seasoned with excellent homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Sides like green beans and broccoli are cooked fresh and hot. The hamburger with bacon and pepper jack cheese is fantastic. Everything is well-prepared, with beautiful presentation and flavor in every bite. The owners are really friendly and fantastic, making the experience feel warm and personal. Service is good and exceptional. A true hidden gem for anyone who loves real home-cooked meals.
