“I passed by a lot of waffle houses from Texas to wait for this one!It seems like I get the same cook and server Everytime who are very good at their job. Food is always perfect, service is always perfect, and they work really good together.“
“Home based atmosphere where the employees will learn your name and treat you like family! They will yell out your name and say, "Hey, guy's Coco is here, let's get his order up. Following, they'll say, thank you Coco! Gotta love these guys!“
“This little donut shop is serving some of the best donuts I've ever eaten! Picked up a box of assorted glazed Saturday and they were fresh, warm and melted in your mouth. The Bavarian cream filled is a must try! Easy drive thru as well as plenty of parking.“
“My wife and I decided to have a meal before my music show nearby. We got greetings as we entered and we took a seat. Service came quickly and very professional. The food was great and the price was right! The music group I am with does shows in that area, and we will stop in again!“
“What can you say about the waffle house other than it's the waffle house ... it's either hit or miss with the waffle house and this trip was a hit ... good food quick service seated right away Johnston st leaves a lot to be desired but hey it's Johnston st.“
“The food was delicious and the service was beyond exceptional! Both the waitress (Diana) and the grill chef who cooked our food (LJ) were extremely friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend eating here with the family. They were absolutely wonderful and really added to a pleasant experience.“
“I was on the way from drill and my tire popped at the Chevron near the main highway. My friend and I did all we could to try to get help for almost a hr but no one stopped for us. We walked to the Waffle House and the workers did everything they could to help us. Especially Laini she helped in every way. Deserved the tip we gave her 10/10“
“If you've ever wanted to have a waitress tell you her whole life story while you are eating an on-the road at the end of a long daycation meal with your looks-like-we're-a-couple, but we're just out fishing bud, this is the place you've been looking for. I now know way more than I should about the waitress, her cheating ex, her unfulfilled career ambitions and short lived college history. I have friends that I know less about now that I've had this meal. Obviously, we didn't go there to strike up a one sided conversation, and frankly, we couldn't get a word in edgewise. We tried. We would've had to have been rude to her for her to stop ranting and rambling. As it were, when we'd start to give feedback and input on a topic, we were cut off or talked over. This was especially common when my (heteronormative male) buddy would chime in. When polite customers are eating their meal, they can't walk away. We would have enjoyed the meal more if we weren't subjected to a sexist rant about boys being boys and women being "the sinners." The call to join a quasi-celibate sisterhood, refusing mens' advances because they *might be* cheating on some other woman, would have had a better place at someone else's table, not ours. We would have rathered our own private conversation or a little peace and quiet. We got neither during this visit. We usually enjoy playful, lighthearted banter with all service industry personnel. This was definitely not that. We did have plenty to talk about when we got back on the road, though. Given the bold, anti-male sentiment that my guy friend witnessed first hand that night, I don't expect he'll want to stop in, again, and out of principle, neither will I.“
