In Breaux-Bridge, if there is a place where you should go to eat, it is at Jacqueline's! The welcome, the place, the quality of the dishes and the presence of Jacqueline. As a bonus: the beignets to die for.
Definitely comfort food, not fine dining. Feels like having a meal at your grandmas. When we asked for no tomato on a burger- “you take it off yourself.” Or, if we could have an order of bacon for my granddaughter- “I don’t have time for that- there’s too many people” (6 other diners), so we ordered a bacon burger instead. Joy, our waitress was very kind and sweet which made up (some) for a two hour lunch which wasn’t worth the wait. As others have said, the food...
Feels like walking into your grandmother’s home. Wonderful breakfast!!! (Eggs Pont Breaux with the perfect biscuit!) Jacqueline was so hospitable and you can sense her love of cooking and serving her guests.
