1st time here from Texas and was suggested the meatball stew. At 1st sight it looks like 5/10 but when you dive in there and taste the spices... let's just say it has a small kick but pairs together with the rice. The potato salad is probably the best I have ever had. Like a cross between mash potatoes and traditional potato salad. Mustard based but not strong at all. Red beans were great but needed its own rice. Not a deal breaker.

I normally go there on Fridays on my lunch break..Staff is friendly! Owner is very cool and take care of you, and it's a place just to relax collect your thoughts while eating good Soul Food! People that say the price is to high, apparently don't cook at home and don't know the price of groceries..I feel like the price is perfect for what you get..See y'all Friday!

Had trouble finding this restaurant, but it's tucked into the corner, between Rehab for nails and All the rage. Low scale, but food was amazing, taste and price. Would definitely return.
