Don't order the pasta,steak,squash,zucchini, potatoes and no oysters and don't order the quasadilla and who cant cook grilled shrimp tasted like it came of a dirty grill the fried food tasted like old burnt oil

just ate here and will never go back! we went just for oysters and they were out. that is understandable. but the other food we ordered was absolutely disgusting!

Fried soft shell shrimp, shrimp po’boy, and the charbroiled oysters. Fantastic food with generous portions. Right by the dock - saw otters in the water. Best shrimp and oysters I’ve had.

Been here multiple times and always had a great time. Amazing food and great people. Only had one bad experience yesterday when the waitress decided my buddy was too intoxicated to serve alcohol (we had just arrived). We were fine with that but it got weird when she still brought the beer, so he requested a water to sober up some. To which she replied “ no you’re fine you just need food”. So first he’s to drunk but then you serve him anyway but then deny him water when he wants to sober up. Definitely a weird situation. Still leaving a good review because the place is awesome I won’t let one bad experience affect me. Hopefully she gets better training. Thanks for the awesome oysters!

I’ve traveled all over the country, ate a lot of good food but this place was hands down the best I’ve ever had. The oysters are out of this world, you will never eat a better one anywhere! Atmosphere was good too and the staff are super friendly! This place is a 12/10!

One of the key elements of fishing is ICE! When u drive 2 hours to your destination only to discover that one of the most essential things you’ll need for an enjoyable day is unavailable at the place that should never be without, with the next closest place a 30 - 45 minute round trip away, it really derails an otherwise optimistic, well planned day of fishing. If the “ice guy” didn’t deliver, someone (the owner/manager) should do everything possible to not disappoint his customers, no matter the cost or effort. If the “ice guy” ran out of ice before getting to this customer, someone (the owner/manager) should do everything possible to not disappoint his customers, no matter the cost or effort. Im sure the owners/managers of these establishments know this which means the problem isn’t that they’re dumb, it’s that they don’t care about their customers. This lack of concern is more concerning to me than if they were simply stupid. I may return to launch from Delta (may), but I’ll never depend on them for anything else I need for a trip.

I give 5 stars only because there aren't more. Great! A big thanks from the 4 italians came to eat there today!

We ate here our last night in town, and I’m really disappointed we waited till then! We ordered shrimp and fish and 6 charbroiled oysters. We ate all of our oysters before our food came out and ordered 6 more! These oysters were the best thing I’ve ever eaten in my life! I gave my hubby the rest of my shrimp (which were delicious) so I could finish the oysters! There was 2 guys behind the oyster bar where we set, who were amazing! I’m pretty sure 1 was the owner and he was jumping in helping out wherever he could which I found amazing! There was a young man playing the guitar in the corner and people just singing along to his songs! The food was AMAZING the service was SUPERB and the atmosphere was so FUN! I highly recommend this place over ever restaurant I’ve tried! Thank you Ponderosa you made my last night here great!!!!

great place to stay. was our 2 Thanksgiving there. everyone is friendly and helpful. we were fishing on the dock and the guys helped me with getting a few fish out of the water.

Great staff with great food with a lively atmosphere to go with both. Awesome place!
