The burgers! The fries! The pina colada! Yum yum yum! Great first experience! We will definitely be back!

We live out of Winnsboro and we’re looking for somewhere different to eat. Something besides the usual chain restaurants. Glad I thought about Chiefs Hideaway! The food was full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Service was fantastic , and the atmosphere was very nice!

A home away from home. Food is assume! Fish plate is to die for. Don't forget the deserts. They are home made.

I ordered to-go the Seafood Platter. Got home, and the stuffed crab was missing. Otherwise, everything was great! If I had the stuffed crab, I would have rated a 5!

Roastbeef poboy is made with deli type sliced meat, with little flavor, then warmed up and served on a soft bun. Gravy was tasteless like made from a package. Boudin egg rolls didn't taste like boudin. Fried fish was pretty good. Margaritas ok, tasted like ready made from a bottle.
Service was very good. Suggested tip started at 25% which is over the top for me. A disappointing meal.

If you haven’t eaten at Chief’s Hideaway in Calhoun, you are missing out!!!!! They have the freshest catfish and shrimp I’ve eaten in a long time. They make homemade pies every day and have the best Key Lime Pie I have EVER had. And the service is outstanding. They are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5-9. Eat local and support small business, Y’all.

The fried fish is total perfection because it’s fresh, fried perfectly and seasoned just right!!Best in the area (and my husband and I eat fried fish regularly at various restaurants).

Great addition to the Calhoun area!! A lot of places in Calhoun only thrive because of the fact they are close and people don’t feel like driving into West Monroe, looking at you iron cactus. This place is the exception it’s your standard southern fried seafood but done extremely well. I’d put it up against any place in town. They also still serve baked potatoes which for some reason is a rarity nowadays in seafood joints. Great service and plenty of seating. Prices are also very reasonable for seafood. Stop by you won’t be disappointed.
