Got a black coffee and a boudin kolache. The coffee was fresh and strong. The kolache was delicious on what tasted and felt like homemade bread. The boudin had the perfect little spice to it. The staff were some of the most genuinely happy and kind people I’ve met in awhile. God bless Daylight and the people running it! Will definitely return.

Our family is on the last leg of our trip home and we were all hungry for donuts. We found Daylight Donuts of Calhoun on our route home and took the short detour. We are so glad we did! The donuts are so good. The donut man is so cute. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese (it is a drizzle and just the perfect amount) is delicious! The service was so very kind and cheerful. Then, we opened up our box of an apple fritter to munch on down the road and there was a sweet card with a verse. The verse fit us perfectly as my husband is a worship pastor and the verse we got is, “Serve one another in love.” Galatians 5:13. These sweet people running a donut business are serving others in love as well. Thank you for shining the light of Jesus to our family.

This ended up being the best thing for me and my daughter. We had just moved here two days before got up on a Sunday morning and looked for a donut shop only to meet kind people that work there and get invited to church by Customer when I got home with my dozen donuts, I opened up the box to find a sweet note of Jesus is love and cross donut. What an amazing experience.
Parking: We pulled in there and had no problem finding a parking space
Kid-friendliness: They were very kind to my daughter and she got to tell them what donuts she wanted

Donuts were cold. Cream filled donuts didn't have any filling in them hardly. All four was like that. The kaloche wasnt any good either. It tasted like pure all purpose flour! Just aweful. Hate leaving a bad review but hope they can improve some on these things or maybe replace the kalaches and warm the donuts lol. We spent right at 30 dollars. We were able to heat the donuts up after we got home and they were decent. When I go to donut palace or Haskells, the donuts are warm so havent ever come across this.

The people were nice and polite but the donuts and kolachis were the worst I’ve ever experienced I was there at 8:30 in the morning donuts and kolachis were cold like they were out of a refrigerator I will be driving to west Monroe or Ruston for my donuts from now on.
