“I recently visited Odarby in Carencro, Louisiana, and I was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere was amazing, the food was delicious, and the music selection was top-notch. They played a great range of genres, from Zydeco to Top 40 hits. I had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back. “Mandez’s is where we chose to have a much needed and overdue date night. Our waitress went above and beyond. We ordered the seafood nachos for an appetizer. Amazing! I ordered the crab cake dinner with a side of eggplant fries and a side salad with the pepper jelly vinaigrette. Crab cakes were flaky and cooked to perfection. Eggplant fries were crispy and not greasy. paired so well with the dip. Side salad was fresh , pepper jelly vinaigrette had the right amount of zing., and the pickled okra was the chef’s kiss! My husband ordered the shrimp basket and had no complaints. We loved that the dining area was small but well laid out. Great atmosphere! I can’t speak of the bathrooms because I didn’t need to use them while there. Definitely recommend!“

“I grew up with “THE” Fat Pat Johnson! The inspiration and family that owns and started this fine establishment! He was one of my best friends… I miss him every single day. His family… there’s not a better group of people on the face of this earth. We gave them hell Pat and I because we loved to have fun and having fun is what we always did! “I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.“

Macy is awesome she made me feel very welcome, she is a gem.
I go to bars pretty much every week because i travel a lot for work. And this place is definitely special, I’ll come back here when im in town again.

“I know this place very well! My girlfriend's Landlord, Mr John owns this bar and it's certainly a staple in Lafayette. Great live music on the weekends and a cool kind of local new Orleans vibe to the bar during the week days. Must check it out! Hope to see ya there!

Parking: There's parking in front of the bar and across the street there's an entire parking lot that also belongs to Gloria's.

“Went there two weeks ago after my Acadiana High School 20 year Reunion/ Football game and we all had a blast! Staff were great! Atmosphere as usual on point! We danced, passed around trays of lemon drop shots and acted like we did in high school back in 2002“

“We had a wonderful evening at POUR Restaurant & Bar in Lafayette. Our server, Isabelle, was fantastic — attentive, friendly, and made the night feel special. We enjoyed sitting outside in the beautiful weather while sipping cocktails (1942 Old Fashioned, Conundrum and Scout’s Honor red blends), sharing the Baked Brie appetizer, Grilled Chicken Breast entrée, and finishing with the Molten Chocolate Cake. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We’ll definitely be back!“
