There is nothing about this place that I wouldn't give 5 stars. I came here with my family on Easter. I got the Cornell Sanders chicken sandwich and I was blown away. I don't remember what my family go but we were amazed by the quality and flavor of our meals. When my family tried the chicken on my sandwich, my grandfather got up and found our waitress to order one before they closed to take home to Lake Charles. We chatted with the staff and they were absolutely lovely. The service was unmatched and so welcoming. There weren't a lot of people when we got there but that's understandable considering it's Easter. So I can't speak on when it's busy but the atmosphere was so amazing. The music was classic. The part we sat in had windows and so much natural light. We got dessert and I can't understate how PHENOMENAL the creme brulee was. We had such an amazing visit and will definitely be coming here again!Thank you guys so much!!

Literally 1 set of tiny tree frog legs connected with the hip for $25. I wish I had taken a picture, but didn't realize the price until the bill. Would have been fine for $10-$15, but $25 should have been 2 sets of that size at the minimum.. to keep the decent end pricing but have enough food for a meal. I have never seen smaller frog legs cooked. I know meat is expensive now, but it was sub $1 of meat. The workers/owner were sweet and service was good though. It's a cute place that I was hoping to make a regular spot. My girlfriend's burger was large and tasty, but the entire frog leg dish had less than 1 chicken wing flat worth of meat.

Had the shrimp poboy with fries. The shrimp were fried a but differently than what I'm used to, but everything was delicious! Every was very fresh tasting. Staff was very helpful and attentive.

I've been to this place about 10 times now and the food, service, and atmosphere are always consistent and amazing. I've only had one meal I didn't like, a special that I found too salty, but the server took it away without issue and didn't charge me. The co-owner Jay is always at the front of the restaurant greeting and serving customers, and he's always got a smile on his face and never steers us wrong on recommending food. We always get excellent service from the other servers and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. It's a renovated house and is as cute as can be. I almost always get the same thing, the Big Tuna sandwich/burger, which is not something I normally go for. It's outrageously good. Seared Tuna with homemade bread and butter pickles, cherry tomato reduction thing, and spicy mango ketchup. It may not sound like your thing, but trust me, try it. It tastes better every time I go there! Also love their fries, carrot cake, eggs benedict, and french toast!
This is worth a trip from wherever you are! Excellent service. Insanely delicious food.

I’m from California came into town for some work training and found The bus stop bistros. Let me tell you it was incredible. The service was on point, great atmosphere and the burger I ate was delicious actual I would go as far to say best burger I have had in a very very long time. 200% recommend this restaurant.
