“I have never actually eaten food that fulfills my soul. This place is definitely the definition of SOUL FOOD!!! The amazing people that cook these dinners are truly full genuine spirits and those spirits are felt in their cooking. I use my Louisiana hot sauce on EVERYTHING and with this food here I don't even use a dash! If I could give millions stars for service, atmosphere, and food I would!
My family and I will definitely be regular customers. I'm grateful for great cooking like this?“

“My husband and I were passing through last week and found this place on Google. We are from Colorado and are sure we looked as we felt (out of place). That aside, wow. The food was WONDERFUL. We had two 2-piece meals with a roll and peppers. If I never have fried chicken again I will know I had some of the best. Thank you to the crew at the restaurant. You made our day!“
“Great Mag...readable and interesting! The photography is top notch but not overdone.“

“Delicious, fast, down to earth, home cooked soul food. Super friendly owners. Seating for ~10 inside. Not sure there could be a better option for lunch in the area. Come early, come often.
Absolutely phenomenal oxtail, collard/mustard greens, and red beans. Candied Yams were like dessert - to be expected.
$21 for Oxtail+Candied Yams+white beans over rice+corn bread
$13 for Fried fish, mustard greens, red beans, rice, cornbread“
