“Headed to New Orleans in July, and Sweet Vegan Soul Food will be my first stop after leaving the airport. This will be my third visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The facility is clean and the staff is so friendly. When traveling I’m always excited to locate a tasty vegan restaurant and this place is my spot when in New Orleans! I can’t rave about it’s food enough…simply delicious!“

“Found this from reading reviews and we weren’t disappointed—- very well organised staff, not the smartest of buildings ( but our server said they are moving to larger premises soon ) but the friendly helpful staff are great! I loved their eggs Benedict- so much so we went back a couple of days later!! Hubby enjoyed an omelette first time then second visit he had their French toast which came with fresh grapes & pineapple and was absolutely delicious! Refill of the tasty coffee is a nice touch. Well worth a visit!“

“This place here has the best chicken I ever had. They fry it right when you order so you know it’s gonna be fresh. The sweet tea is great too not too sweet but also not too tart. 10/10 would recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming place to eat“

“Ordered the fish and shrimp platter and it came out in a box. The gut Buster in the box had the taste of day old grease and fries that appeared to have been soaked in water after being taken out of the day old grease. When the lady brought the bag to the table, I asked Ma'am is this the platter and she then replied load and proud Yeeeepppppp! Mind you, we paid aprox $70.00 for this heartburn and two drinks that tasted like over rated and highly sweetened suga water with a Lil color. Eat at your own risk and if you choose to do so make sure you have the anti acid pills close by along with some baby wipes to donate your platter to a better cause.“

“My favorite dish here is by far the gumbo! Whether it's the tender Turkey sausage, the plump shrimp, or the tender chicken, each bite is a symphony of flavors that dances on my palate. The subtle heat of the spices, the earthiness of the roux, and the aromatic herbs, they all come together in perfect harmony, leaving me in a state of pure bliss. 11/10 highly recommend!!“

“They catered my husband’s birthday party this weekend and the food was amazing! Everyone raved about the stuffed shrimp, red beans, Po’ Boys, dirty rice, pasta, everything!!!
I host many events and I never received compliments like this on the food. Everytime I come to New Orleans, Ive been let down by the food, but they changed my mind. They were extremely professional throughout the entire process. I’m not local to New Orleans but if they travel, I would definitely use again.“

“Amazing place to eat! SUPER friendly staff, amazing food and even better desert. We ate there for supper last night & then again today for lunch! I recommend the blackened fish! Lots to choose from and the managers on duty are always so friendly and making sure everyone is taken care of! Highly recommend! Brianna served us last night and was super kind and efficient! I didn’t take note of our waitresses name today but she was precious also! The manager took time to ask where we were from and took our photo, it’s just a breath of fresh air to have such exceptional service!“

“In town for the week and I’ve tried about 6 or 7 vegan restaurants. This is by far the best one I’ve tried thus far. The fried “fish”, was AMAZING and so flavorful! All 3 meals I got were DELICIOUS! The onion rings and ranch were the BEST I’ve ever had vegan or non-vegan. My nieces who are not vegan also enjoyed their meals as well. Both were impressed with the quality, portion size and flavor of the food. Both reported that they didn’t miss not having any meat ??.
I will eat ONLY here the last 3 days that I’m in town! This is a MUST TRY!“

“My wife and I stopped here today for lunch. AWESOME! We got a lamb and a chicken gyro and shared. Both were so tasty. The meat was tender, the pita was amazing and the tzatziki sauce is great. we also split a bowl of mazzo ball soup. It may be the best I've ever had. It has a hint of bacon that sets it apart from any I've had before. As great as the food is, the staff was even better. Very nice and helpful. We will be back soon to try the dinner menu.“
