“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“I have passed Fives multiple times, been meaning to stop in and finally did on last night w| a friend who was visiting.

We stopped by on a Tuesday, that is of course a pretty slow day in the city so it was pretty dead. We sat on the cocktail bar side and we were greeted by a super nice bartender— I can’t remember her name, but she had loads of energy!! We ordered a few oysters and they were hands downs some of the best oysters I’ve tasted. My favorites were the Mon Louis, such a great, clean taste. My drinks were extremely good. I could have sat there all night stuffing my face a drinking.

I wasn’t aware that Fives is owned by the same people who own The Columns, makes sense because food and drinks are always perfection there as well.

Fives is located in Jackson Square, prime location for tourists as it is centrally located in the Quarter. The space is limited, If you are expecting a full blown out restaurant, this isn’t the location. Fives is truly a cocktail/oyster bar. I believe I saw a total of four tables in each corner w| four chairs to each table.

This will certainly become a new spot for me to hang.“

“I took my husband to Plates last Saturday after previously dining there early in the year in a girl's trip. The tasting menu was just as phenomenal! Everything was so delicious that I often think about how excellent the food was. Lee was our server, and he was a delight! He gave us great service and made us feel like we were dining with friends instead of a restaurant. We especially want to commend Lee for making our experience memorable!“

“Stopped here within a food tour, but had my favorite bite. You MUST try the savory beignet! Filled with fresh lump crab meat and on top of a delicious remoulade, I will be dreaming of that for a minute! The manager was fantastic and the atmosphere was top notch! Buy a piece of the wood art on the wall!“

“Visiting new Orleans and this place is a 4 minute walk from the air bnb. The service was great, the associates inside were very friendly and welcoming. Now the food, four different options, a chicken po boy, shrimp po boy, and a catfish po boy plus beef yakamein noodles. We all ate buffet style to try everything and I just have to say, try the whole menu, everything was delicious. We also had a fried sweet potato pie, AMAZING!!!. We will be back during our visit. The portion size is two meals, so keep that in mind and go get some delicious food.“

“I used Nola Crawfish King for an outdoor party we just held in June. I worked with Sophia in catering, and she could not have been more helpful. She quickly responded to all of my many emails. I wanted a crawfish/shrimp boil, and she helped with deciding what the ratio should be considering it was late in the season for crawfish. The guys who did the boil did a great job, set up all the tables and chairs, and everybody loved the seafood. Don't hesitate to use this company. You won't regret it.“

“A charming little gem of a place with lots of history, Casamento's is a true old-school Louisiana seafood joint. We visited on opening day at the start of oyster season, and I couldn't have been happier with my meal. I had oysters 3 ways - raw, chargrilled, and fried, and everything was very fresh and tasty. The two daughters that are servers are super sweet, and very understanding of celiac disease/ the need to eat GF. Dedicated fryer is a big plus.

“We were surprised to get a last minute reservation on Christmas Eve. When we arrived, we sat at the bar until our table was ready. The drinks were perfectly prepared. Our server (Lionel) was very helpful, had great suggestions, was attentive, and very helpful without being overbearing. When they didn’t have the wine we wanted in stock they offered to comp an alternative that turned out to be an equally great wine for or meal. Of course, we insisted on paying for the wine. The food was great, but the service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting New Orleans.“

“Attentive, old-school service. The house martini was one of the best I've had. Had the thick cut New York with Cajun butter. Super delicious. For sides, tangy Caesar salad, loaded baked potato, perfectly cooked asparagus, & mushrooms. This place is worth the money.“

“Wonderful, fresh food, lovely hostess (Miss D) remembered us, the boss, Jason, did as much grunt work as anyone else on the floor, and though seating stops around 8pm, we were never rushed. Of special note are the brussels sprouts, the little cabbage that everyone loves to hate, which was sweet and crispy and barely recognizable as the same vegetable you refused as a kid. Don't neglect the desserts, particularly their pecan pie, which approaches heaven on a plate. Fish and seafood that is breaded is breaded lightly and cooked just right. Convenient location, pleasant atmosphere, decent prices. I love this place!“

“Fantastic oyster happy hour 4-6 every day, with a huge selection from all over North America. Eggplant doughnut is delicious, and it's so great to try new preparations of this veggie. Our server Tristan was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, offering suggestions that were spot on. We will definitely have to come back to try some more dishes.“

“I was in town snd had to try this place everyone was talking about! From the minute I walked in I love it! The host was very polite and the ambiance was awesome! Earl the bartender was very laid back and provided me with top tier service. Landing was great also to conversate with. All of the management staff was professional and visible at all times. The food was spectacular and the lamb chop was the best I ever eaten. I will definitely be back in the future. Chef Jordan has it together over there??“

“What an experience!
We met with some friends for the Omakase menu and it was well worth the cost. With this, you get 12 or 15 different sashimi options. Each were so delectable and tasted Ike the best quality. They presented about 3 of the 12 at a time so you were not overloaded with a big platter. Highly recommend if you like the raw type. Our server was fantastic and knew every single item that was placed on the table. Cocktails were so good as well and I recommend their off menu rum drink. Decor inside is cozy and modern but very inviting. Don’t sleep on the apps as well and you MUST get the Brussels! We will be back very soon!

P.S. catch happy hour for specials on Brussels and you better get the crispy rice trio!“

“Our first time dining there and they didn’t disappoint! The service was perfect from the moment we walked in. The waiter was at the table to greet us immediately and promptly took our drink order. They started us off with a complimentary meatball served with a basket of garlic bread and they even put a candle in my mother’s as we were celebrating her 87th birthday. We ordered several appetizers including the crab cakes which were the best I’ve ever had. The beef carpaccio was so good we ordered it a second time and the entrees were equally as delicious. After the meal they brought out a red velvet brownie with a candle in it for my mother and the other tables in our seating area joined us in singing happy birthday to her. She was more than thrilled! We ordered a few desserts to share and the tiramisu was fabulous, in fact it was so good we ordered a second! Needless to say this was a spectacular dining experience.“

“Gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful and professional. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up just over 10 minutes later and the food was delicious. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy and the bread was super fresh, the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, nice size and well portioned. I also ordered a side of fries and they were plentiful, crispy and well seasoned. Highly recommend. Great neighborhood spot!“

“I visited the location on Ponchatrain in Nola last night _ I will NEVER dine in late at night - The host was outside playing with the managers dog in the parking lot - She walked in the side door and greeted me picked up the menu and NEVER sanitized or washed her hands. The server complained about it being slow- My food came out cold- The manager on duty last didn't care- They put my side dishes in the microwave They served me the same cold chicken I sent back and just put it on the grill for a few minutes. Horrible customer service experience and the quality of the food was worse.“
