Their menu is small and focused! I recommend the burgers and the baked potato. Such a great burger, perfect balance of patty and bun..

Be weary if you sit inside the place it is very dark, but that's the dive feel you're getting. It's so dark though it was kinda hard to see and read the menus.

Also to eat outside we were told they don't actually serve the seats outside. So you would have to order at the bar and then bring your food outside? It didn't make total sense to me, but if you're looking to take advantage of the weather, it's something to think about!“

“Had to visit as I heard this was one of the best places to get donuts and coffee. Came here on our last night after dinner and got the espresso with ice cream and a shake along with a cinnamon roll to share with my honey. The shake was a perfect consistency. Then came here again the day we were leaving out as they have Koloches. Haven’t seen those since we lived in Texas. It was pretty good but that Vietnamese coffee 🤤🤤🤤 it was soo good. I’m craving it now as I write this. Then got some donuts for the road. All very good. Highly recommend this place.“

“We did a little brewery hop while on New Orleans and this brewery was my favourite. Really great atmosphere and the food was exceptional! Had the pork bites to start and we could’ve eaten a second plate, however when our ribs arrived we were glad we didn’t! The ribs were very generous and cooked to perfection. Definitely drop in for a great beer selection and a feed.“

“Everything about original slap burger is 5/5. I’ve consistently ordered the OG double with fries 3 times and the consistency of the kitchen and deliciousness is top tier. One of the best burgers I’ve had in New Orleans. No complaints on the burger, fries are crispy, service is quick. Sometimes the seating is busy but I’ve ordered to-go (twice) and ordered in (once) and it still tastes incredible at home, nothing soggy. Can’t recommend enough.“

“I went to the Backspace Bar & Kitchen after getting in on a later flight and ordered a beer and shrimp po'boy. It was a super chill night - I was just one of a few folks in there around 8PM. The beer was wonderful, the bartender was so nice, and the whole vibe was just what I needed after a stressful day of travel. “Being in the French Quarter, we didn't really go here expecting anything special. From the minute we walked in the door we were treated like royalty and this made the entire experience exceptional. By far the best time overall spent at any restaurant. Our server Breion went above and beyond to make my son's birthday extraordinary and the manager Shane spent a good amount of time making sure everything was perfect for us. And it wasn't just because we were celebrating a special occasion, this seemed to be what happened at every occupied table at the establishment. HIGHLY recommend visiting here!“
