After finding out my hotel bar was closed until the summer (?), I took a walk and came across this small bar with unassuming signage.Great selection of beers and drinks, at reasonable prices.Vibe and ambiance is brick, wood, and leather seats. The textbook definition of unpretentious.Staff is polite and helpful, and have fun chatting with patrons, be they regulars or first-timers.I know I will visit other bars in my short time here in NOLA, but this one is definitely getting at...read full review
As you wander the back streets alone like me, you could pass right over this spot. In fact, I wasn’t sold on it for a while. But the food was excellent (get the boudin balls), the staff was fun, and it felt like a place you could wander in and make friends…you know, how a bar is supposed to be.Tyler, sorry I couldn’t come back. Great food, reasonable price, great service. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they don't have a tomato soup that is paired with their grilled cheese sandwich. When we ordered the grilled cheese, we were surprised that they did not have a tomato soup that went along with it. I think that is one big thing that is lacking from their menu.
