Great food, reasonable price, great service. The only thing that I would change is the fact that they don't have a tomato soup that is paired with their grilled cheese sandwich. When we ordered the grilled cheese, we were surprised that they did not have a tomato soup that went along with it. I think that is one big thing that is lacking from their menu.

After finding out my hotel bar was closed until the summer (?), I took a walk and came across this small bar with unassuming signage.Great selection of beers and drinks, at reasonable prices.Vibe and ambiance is brick, wood, and leather seats. The textbook definition of unpretentious.Staff is polite and helpful, and have fun chatting with patrons, be they regulars or first-timers.I know I will visit other bars in my short time here in NOLA, but this one is definitely getting at least one repeat visit before I go.

As you wander the back streets alone like me, you could pass right over this spot. In fact, I wasn’t sold on it for a while. But the food was excellent (get the boudin balls), the staff was fun, and it felt like a place you could wander in and make friends…you know, how a bar is supposed to be.Tyler, sorry I couldn’t come back. The BEST burger we could have had on our first night in nola. The food here is no joke. Service was quick and friendly. Nice chill ambiance. We plan on coming back again before heading home. definitely stop by Backspace

Fantastic little place with phenomenal food and a great atmosphere. The bartenders Hallie and Jain are the best in the business. And they both have great playlists for your listening pleasure. Definitely our new favorite place in NOLA versus all the chaos of Bourbon Street.

I was so happy to see that this bar survived the pandemic. I've always loved it's quasi hunting lodge feel and incredible drinks. It's definitely not on one of the busier streets and it's closer to Canal than Esplanade so it's easy to slide in and get a seat at the bar. I love their Blue Hawaiian and Espresso Martinis. We also had some pulled pork loaded fries which were a nice twist on Poutine. The bartender was super friendly and quick with the drinks. I kid you not when I say a burger is $11! I live in Milwaukee, where you're lucky to find a burger under $15 these days.

Nasty have rats and roaches in the kitchen. I would not recommend eating there dirty. the bartender Are rude and service is bad the doorman charge me 50 bucks and. Took my ID. The bartender offered me coke and pills take My advice DO NoT GO!!!!!!!!!

This is a great spot in NOLA! Hallie and Dominique are amazing! Hallie makes some of the best drinks I've had! This place was so phenomenal that I came back again just because of the positive energy and grateful and drinks and wonderful customer service given by the bartender! This is really a gem of a place! Leave. The man have a seat and don't forget to tip your bartender!

This will sneak up on you if you're not paying attention. Right around from the Marriott New Orleans. Is this gem of a place! I was greeted by a nice gentleman at the door + pulled in by the great service of the bartender, Hallie! She was one of the best bartenders I have had the pleasure of meeting! She was patient with me and my co-workers as we decided what we wanted to drink. Her personality and accommodating nature and great musical taste kept us there ordering drinks that all tasted delicious. Miss Dominique in the back. Cooked up some of the best bar food I have ever had. The place is real cozy and allows for real intimate but also comfortable interactions!
