“Very cute spot, visited during free cake Friday which was awesome. The crawfish bread was insanely good and so was the croissant sandwich. Will definitely try to visit anytime I’m in town.”
“The food was good and nicely presented. It is cute and quaint. Orders are olaced at the counter, you seat yourself and they find you. I did find it odd I had to ask for syrup. Once I did, a condiment organizer was brought to my table complete with salt and pepper. The dogs with the man sitting at the next table were brought water and then some treats, without saying a word. The patrins were pleasant and conversational, the staff at the cafe were "matter of fact".”

“The food, service, and ambiance were all great! It is a large space and liked the vibe. Lobster dumpling was very good. Pork belly - good, but wish it was more smokey. Parmesan flounder was very good as well as the Scallop Carbonara. Pork was just ok. I wish i had room for dessert as they all sounded really good.”
“Was wandering the city after a visit to City Park and found myself in Bayou St. John, then walking by this place. Popped in for a couple and it was cool as hell in there. Friendly bartender, good vibes. When I walked in I was patron #3, but within an hour there was about 20 people. Think they had crawfish. Good vibe all around the whole time.”

“We had dinner at the bar since we didn't realize reservations a couple weeks ahead are critical to a table at this restaurant. It was very nice to have the option of waiting for a seat at the bar, and it was actually quite lovely since our server was always right in front of us and the piano player was close by in the room as well. The food was superb...I had the delicious fish almandine and my husband enjoyed the chicken with roasted potatoes. They were both served very hot, which I appreciate. We thought the price was very reasonable for the quality of the food. And our server/bartender was friendly and efficient. If I lived in NOLA, I'd eat at Irene's twice a month for sure!”

“My brother and I attended Chris' Cocktail Class last Friday. Both of us are big fans, and to have 3 hours of time with a man we consider to be one of the greatest living bartenders in the U.S. (if not the world), it was a privilege, educational, and a great time. Chris' breadth of knowledge is exceptional, and he and his wife Laura are fantastic people. I highly recommend taking one of his classes, and if you haven't been to Revel, you're missing out. I will be back -- for drinks, food and classes!”
“Super cute cafe in Marigny. They have a yummy-looking menu of breakfast & lunch items plus regular and boozy coffees and cocktails. Sadly, I didn't get to try any of the food. We stopped by for some to-go bloody Mary's. We were greeted by an extremely friendly hostess and taken care of by an equally great bartender. The bloody Mary's were delicious and strong. They came in a fun cup that I kept as a souvenir. The best part was that the bloody Mary's were only $6!”
“I absolutely love this place and come at least twice whenever I’m in town. From the food to the staff, they are simply the best! Come early because they sell out!Dietary restrictions: Vegan”

“Excellent ice cream and plenty of flavors from which to choose. My favorite ice cream is rum raisin. Not many places serve this flavor these days, and it is almost impossible to find in grocery stores. Angelo Brocato has an excellent Rum Raisin.”
“Lavender honey & glazed donut shake with graham cracker. The mill used came through super strong. Stronger than the flavors of the ice cream. I could taste the glazed donut flavor post shake, more of an after taste like “Ah, there it is!” Paid about $9. Nice place, variety of flavors.”
“Olive Branch......I heard great things about their pie! (Ima pie guy!) (Pizza) so I opt for delivery (very expensive) I get two pies hamburger and pepperoni they arrived almost an hour later...(of course not the hottest) THEY LOOK..AMAZING HECK EVEN TASTE AMAZING!!Gotta Give Them another try given the circumstances! But the owner Mr. RUSTY! TOOK CARE OF ME!GO CHECK THEM OUT!!”
“What a wonderful breakfast and coffee spot. Whether you want to visit to connect with the community or to sit and get some work done, this is the spot.Stop by and try one of their delicious beverages or breakfast items. They are warm and welcoming and the food is amazing!”

“OMG!!! I can't say enough good things about this place. Our server Lisa was so fantastic shared in our giggles and served us amazing food. Best biscuits and gravy I have had on this entire trip. Bottomless Bloody Marys the chicken and waffles were to die for. Their burgers are huge and seasoned so well. 10 out of 10 will return. THANK YOU LISA!!!!!”
“Update:I'm not sure what changed in two years, but the food seems to have gone downhill a bit. The French Toast bites that we ordered were literally soaked in grease. I took one bite and got a mouthful of oil. Those got sent back immediately. Our Biscuit & Gravy breakfast with fried chicken added was solid...my husband ate it all. I ordered an omelet that came with grits and a biscuit. My biscuit was definitely not the best. It was getting hard around the outside and had a rubbery chewiness to it. I feel like I got a leftover biscuit from the day before. Our service was fast and friendly, so for that I say thank you. My ding on atmosphere is that their dining room chairs are awful! They are not made for a wider backside. ? They cut into you because they're narrow, so I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat.YUM! All of the dishes here have a great Cajun twist on traditional breakfast items. The cocktails are half off for their morning Happy Hour(7am to 10 am, I believe). We loved everything we ordered, which was a lot. We got two cocktails(which were $5 instead of $10 each), 3 appetizers, and 1 entree that we split. It was $60 total. Well worth it! Our server was also very fast and friendly! So enjoyable and super glad we stopped in!”

“If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. I came here with my mom in September for her birthday dinner and we could not have been happier with the experience. Of the 10+ restaurants we visited during our time here, this was easily the most unique and memorable. The ambience was lovely, a carefully crafted balance of elegant southern hospitality and refined contemporary touches transporting you into an intimate dining experience. The service was impeccable, each member of the staff was welcoming and enthusiastic. They all made us feel like we were locals returning for the umpteenth time and went out of their way to make the dinner exceptional. Each course was beautifully plated and full of flavor. The fish was perfect and fresher than any we had elsewhere on our stay, and the desert was outstanding. No matter whether you’re a local or a guest of the city, do yourself a favor and dine here.”
“The food was wonderful. Bosco, our waiter, gave us imaginary scale of their spice level. The price is worth the food. The environment and chairs are comfortable. The menu gives image examples of majority of the food. The next time I come here, I’ll go from a regular to a medium. The spice is pleasant and flavorful.Vegetarian options: There is a entire page of vegetarian dishes.Kid-friendliness: They have paper covering their tables, so don’t worry about the mess.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to the door and the building is spacious.”
“Went to the restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday weekend. Jenny, our waitress, was so kind and pleasant. Everything was going well until my friend suffered an injury from table cleaner splashing in her eye. It took a minute for management to address the issue. An incident report was filed and as a courtesy her meal was comped, but the reaction time was a little disappointing. Jenny was very considerate and attentive to our needs. Thankfully things ended on a high note bc of Jenny.”

“This was the best meal I have ever had hands down. Every detail possible was thoughtfully executed. Our table wasn't quite ready when we arrived (we were early) and we were greeted with beverage service while we waited. The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy, with the volume being a perfect level. The drinks were so perfect, very much gave New Orleans style cocktails an elevated touch. We ordered basically everything on the menu, and were continuously blown away course by course. The highlights for our group were the braised celery hearts swimming in a rich tomato broth, the stuffed quail with chow-chow and “risotto”, and the fish/beef dishes. Our server was fantastic and paced everything so well. We finished off with some complementary house-made Lemon-cello that was the perfect ending to the best culinary-hospiltaity experience I have ever endured. Thanks, MaMou; We will be back!”
“Great casual spot away from the chaos! Delicious pasta (build your bowl type selection), salad, and tiramisu. We really enjoyed our dinner here! (I got the pappardelle with funghi sauce).”
“What a place to eat. Expect a 15 min plus wait, but it’s well worth it. I had the sweet fire chicken, and what a delicious breakfast. The French toast bites were the best I’ve ever had. Th chicken was sweet with a a hint of spice. I would have liked more heat, but it was really good. Surprisingly, the chicken went well with the French toast. The spicy sauce from the chicken was yummy on the French toast. The service was fast and friendly. What more can you ask for?”
“We went to Shaya for our Anniversary 5 days ago and I am still thinking about the food! The hummus was incredible. We chose the Wild mushroom hummus but I don't think you can go wrong with any of their options. The Baba, Lebna and roasted beets were also delicious as well as the Israeli Salad for an entree. Can't wait to go back!”
“From start to end was a phenomenal experience. Service was wonderful and the restaurant beautiful. We started with the Iberico pork which was tasty but for the price probably wouldn't get again as was very small. We shared several of the entrees - the duck, the red snapper, gnocci, and the wagu beef - every one of them was really delicious. You can't go wrong with any of these choices! The restaurant was expensive, but the quality was superb, so definitely would be back for a special occasion!”
“Delicious food and an amazing dining experience. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: They take great care to accommodate. Especially for celiacs and vegan people.”
“We visited Lufu Nola and everyone loved their dishes. We started with Pani Poori and it was fun and tasty. I had the Macher Paturi and it was amazing. My daughter had the lamb and it was also delicious. My husband and son had angara chicken and loved it and my older son had the khayali pulao and also loved it. We all definitely recommend Lufu Nola!”
“Working in the area and stopped for breakfast and little information. Very very helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Thanks for the coffee with no sugar. Will be back.”
“Great sandwich shop. Try to get there early as a line forms and lasts for quite a while. The food comes quickly and was one of the better meals of my trip to NOLA. The bologna sandwich was the highlight and deserves the reputation. Also tried the ham sandwich, which was a good, solid sandwich even if it doesn't offer anything new.The fried pot pie was also very tasty (though they could have done a better job deboning the chicken. The pot pie was similar to an empanada and had a fantastically crispy shell.Would very likely return here if I was back in the area.Vegetarian options: Vegan chick'n sandwhich”
“Delicious food and great ambiance! The owner was so personal and made sure that we liked what we ordered. Our food was flavorful and an intricate balance between spice, sweet, and savory. Loved it, will return asap!”
“I am quite a foodie! I have eaten at many restaurants while in New Orleans but Peche is by far the best we have eaten. The wait staff was amazing and catered to all of our needs! We had the raw seafood platter which gave us an amazing variety of what they had to offer. The horseradish I asked for was truly amazing. The Brussel sprouts roasted with a chili vinegar sauce were out of this world! We also tried the ribeye of another guest and I was very impressed. To top it off the carrot sticky toffee pudding was equal to 5 star restaurants I've eaten at. The decor and ambiance also lended to a delightful experience. We are thinking about going again tonight on our last night in town!!! Don't miss out on this tremendous culinary experience!!!”
“First time eating Ethiopian food, and when I tell you, this place exceeded my expectations! The food is delicious, and I had to different orders. The atmosphere is amazing, and we sat in the booth, and the waiter knows the memo very well and suggested the perfect food choice for us. I don't normally drink the water from restaurants because it's normally tap, but they have spring water, and it was very fresh and clear! I will definitely be back soon!”
“Yummmmm! Everything on the menu besides the flash fried oysters is impeccably delicious!!! I’m not exaggerating. Every single item is delicious. The menu is complete with all the recipes you can desire while in New Orleans, but elevated.I think the most impressive thing about this establishment is how quick the food comes out. It reminds me of how Gordon Ramsay’s Hells Kitchen makes a steak in less than 7 minutes and somehow is packed with spices and flavor that would take days to marinate! Love love love, will come again. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of everything, but I did try the hamburger, fried oysters, rib & wings, fish & grits, crab cake, and gumbo. *chefs kiss*”
“I live in Pittsburgh, and searched for a place that would feel familiar, but also provide a unique New Orleans experience. This is a GREAT Italian place, with classic Italian dishes, but also some New Orleans classic seafood options. Prices are very reasonable. All the dishes we had were great, great eggplant appetizer, great bread to go with dinner, very good desserts...a treasure up near the lake front...go there!”
“Thank you, Welty's, for a very DELICIOUS sammie and adding to our memorable visit to NO.Not only was our Muffaletta sandwich THE BEST we've ever had, your place had a very nice vibe and your staff was GR8 and super friendly! Next time we're "cruising" in...we'll be back!Wishing you a very Happy and Prosperous New Year! ?”
“My husband and I had dinner here last night. We started with the meatballs which were great. Perfect serving size and served in a bright and delicious tomato sauce. We ordered the Supreme and Diavola pizzas. Initially our pizzas were not quite to our liking, but the owner was receptive to our feedback and remade both pizzas for us. The second batch were awesome. We really enjoyed our meal but the stars of the evening were the Ancora team. The service was above and beyond and we'll definitely be back.”

“We went to one of the French Quarter Phantoms tours (Ghost and Vampire Combo) and our tour guide was Wolfy! They were super super informed on the buildings we toured and also very funny which kept our attention the whole way. Gave us some great suggestions for a bars in the area and was just overall a very kind person. The bar was very clean itself and drinks were really good. Loved the experience!”
“No visit to the Crescent City would be complete without a visit to Pat O'Briens. Some day we may even try the food. Missy our bartender made us excellent mint juleps and makes everyone feel at home.”
“The food, in this place, is amazing. It's a mom & pop deli located in the heart of downtown Nola. I promise you won't be disappointed. Now, if you're looking for something glitzy & glamorous; smoke a blunt 1st and come back. If you want something that makes you appreciate authentic food, flavor and culture; make your way to Verti Marte.”
“Delicious food with the best attention and politeness from the waiter named Vicky, she's amazing, helped me and my family a lot we are definitely going back to eat again!”
“Lucky's is my go to neighborhood bar when in uptown New Orleans. One can spend a good time watching the streetcar and folks go by while enjoying reasonably priced beer or a stiff cocktail. I didn't eat there, but they used to serve a mean burger!”
“We made this place a stop on our celebration of my youngest's 21st birthday pub crawl, and enjoyed our visit and drinks! We went upstairs where we could toss some beads from the balcony and had a great drink and chat with the bartender, who gave us some good ideas on other places to visit. Everyone was friendly, the place felt clean, and the atmosphere was great. Thank you for being part of our evening!”
“Visiting New Orleans and was looking for something that wasn’t crawfish or the po boy sellers of here. Found this gem while walking, and my husband and I are so thankful we did!! The burger is so good! Bacon is the perfect crispness. He got the club and woofed it down! Soo good! I will definitely recommend this place and will be back every time I visit the French quarter!!”
“The food was fast and amazing!! However the server, Joan B. Insisted that she get her tip prior to serving the food. We bought drinks and food and she indicated that she gets her tips upfront. Once we received our food she then tapped my family member on the shoulder and said don't forget her tip. She then told another customer that she doesn't serve drinks for free or without a tip and Insisted that we wouldn't tip. However, we still tipped but her service and attitude was unprofessional. She talked herself out of a tip that could have been more but oh well.”
“Hoyle is awesome and so is Josh. Great fun and great friends made. Do yourselves a favor. Come to to New Orleans and hang out at the Abbey. Bishop might bounce you if you're not careful though.”
“Stranger to the neighborhood and found this delightful place to chill and eat! I highly recommend the mushroom and Swiss burger, along with a vodka and cranberry cocktail. The bartender is so welcoming.”
“This is in my top ten “dive” bars!! Went there every day/night on my last visit to NOLA just to make sure. This is a very local bar. Sit back, find your place to fit in. Go in with an open mind and respect the locals. You could easily get in trouble being rude. There is a varied cast of characters throughout the day and gets more varied as the night goes on. We befriended one lady that lived in a bus and she took us to some places we would have NEVER found on our own. Had so much fun while we were there. Will always go when there.”
“It's not a fancy place but they have cheap and cold beverages, great food throughout the day and night and even laundry machines you can use while traveling. I've sent many folks to this bar and they have almost all loved it.”
“Such good service! Popped in for an appetizer one night then came back for breakfast. Service was good, we got sat quickly & got our food not long after. Next time we'd go for dinner or lunch when we're in New Orleans.”
“Truly amazing in all ways! We drive here from Batpn Rouge before attending Broadway shows. The service is super quick for such a place and the food is beyond amazing and delicious! A good variety of things to try each time with some specials that routinely change up. Off towards the warehouse district side so a but quieter, parking sometimes is a little tough but never far to park from the restaurant. Wish we had this restaurant in Baton Rouge as I'd eat here weekly!”

Zesty Creole
“We were in New Orleans for 5 days, and ate breakfast here 2 days, and dinner 2 evenings at Zesty Creole. That's how excellent the food, service and hospitality was. Our hosts, Liz and Mensur are second to none. We were treated BETTER than family every time we came. If ever you visit New Orleans, or are a true native, you must come by and meet them, and have a meal or two, or three...My favorite dinner is the Pork chops with gumbo soup and house fries ( which are the best tasting potato wedges I have ever eaten!). My only disappointment is that I'm limited to 5 Stars.”

“All of the food we had here was fantastic! The fish is fried to perfection, and the doubles box and its sauces are filling and tasty. Definitely an authentic taste of the food from Trinidad, if my opinion as an American is anything to go by. The server was friendly and upbeat, as well. I definitely recommend going here if you visit New Orleans!Wheelchair accessibility: Easily wheelchair accessible from the sidewalk.”
“Went to the restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday weekend. Jenny, our waitress, was so kind and pleasant. “I wish I could rate higher! Mr. Michael was so kind. I tried almost every ice cream flavor and they were DELICIOUS! 100/10. My top flavors were: blueberry basil, creole cream cheese, almond peach petit four, coffee, it was beyond good! I can’t wait to go back. The prices are amazing too.”

“The quaint little business has delicious coffee. The owner is very friendly and very hospitable. I am happy we stopped in and will continue to support this small, locally owned coffee shop. Next time we will plan to be there when it's time to eat too!”

“We drove from San Antonio, TX just for their amazing shrimp po'boy. Had to take a nap afterwards. Until next time, I'll be thinking of this yummy sandwich.”
“After our first visit, I knew my wife and I would become regulars. The food is 10/10, the guys behind the counter are friendly, and the second half of the place has pool tables and Foosball.Only downside to this place, all the food is served in cups. However, if you're grabbing a bite to go and have a bowl back at your hotel to use, I 100% recommend this place. Some of the best etouffee I've ever had!”
“We went for dinner at about 6:30 on a Friday night and it was fairly quiet. Our food came out within about 20 minutes, and tasted amazing - we went for the lemon pepper oyster wrap, a build your own plate with jackfruit ribs, Cajun greens, jambalaya and mac n cheese, with a side of avo fries. Would absolutely go back if we're visiting again!”
“This is a family run business always very kind to my wife and have ordered from them for 20+ years. I seldom do anymore being diabetic to many carbs. But my son and wife really enjoy it the take out.”
“Has parking but still beautiful and a great experience. Next to playground and great to avoid chaos of one’s near French QuarterVegetarian options: It’s beignets…”

“We had the nicest waitress today. My husband had the Lemon butter chicken and enjoyed it. I ordered the Mahi Tuna bowl which was delicious. However, there was some rice not thoroughly cooked and it was still super hard. We split a dessert the Crispy creme bread pudding made from Crispy creme doughnuts daily. Everything was delicious.”
“I/we see you the commissary. My adult son and I have order in dates every 2-3 weeks and this evening we had the pleasure to order y'all!! I think we're snobby but hot shit did we have so much to talk about today and tonight!! Dang do y'all put those extra steps in to make every bite a reason to smile, make your kiddo hang out and something to talk about it”
“I had the Eggs Stanley which is cornmeal crusted oysters, poached eggs, house smoked ham, toasted English muffin, creole Hollandaise sauce ($23.50). I enjoyed the dish and recommend it. Their hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the same menu is available from opening to closing.”
“Fried chicken, fried gizzards, fried livers biscuits and dirty rice you can't go wrong!! Sometimes they'll overcook the gizzards, but pretty much everything I get from here is delicious and perfect every time. Fast food done right!”
“I love this little place. It is super chill during the day and a nice place to eat solo and get some work done. Try the enchiladas poblanos served with a fresh salad. And delicious homage salsa! Unassuming and authentic.”
“Great adventure. I believe you should see it once in your lifetime. Only negative part the weed smell all over the place and the city sure should do something about foot traffic contoll especially at Mardi gras dear lord os a pickpocketer heaven.”
“Visiting from TX: I ordered my daughter a Caniac combo. Did notice until I arrive to her apt it was completely wrong, cause order was confirmed at both windows. I call location, left my info and return a day later to receive the full order replacement. They went above and beyond my expectations.Thank you for exceptional customer service. I don't eat meat but my adult children love Canes.”
“Went in after work for a bite to eat.I actually saw an employee making Lemonade.I was surprised I assumed that the Lemonade was ready made. This guy juiced lemon after lemon! No wonder it tastes so good!?Me & bae got our meal and as usual we were pleased. We both got the Caniac combo with Lemonades.Sooo good! ??Thanks Raising Canes!”
“I'm so glad they are back! I love this as a lunch option in MidCity. They have a great mission and their food is good, a win win! And personally, I'm ecstatic they brought back their black bean burger.”
“My favorite sushi in the city. Everything is always fresh and flavorful. I also get the Metairie roll and mango roll and they’re delicious every time. The drive thru window sets this place above everyone else. Makes getting takeout sushi so easy.”
“Food was hot and fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly, came by once and made sure everything tasted good and we didn't need anything. My only complaint is it's a really small dining area. My family of five didn't have a table that fit us. It wouldn't stop me from eating there again or anything like that. It just might be something to consider if you're coming there with a relatively large family or group.”
“Great location to people watch and take a break at the mall. Melvin is super polite and the food came out fast and perfect. Seating is the best as you can sit inside or on the balcony and watch the ships go by.”
“Tommy, the bartender makes this bar located in the Hotel Indigo extra special. His cocktails are top notched and perfectly balanced. Before heading to dinner, my team all came downstairs from our room to have a drink. One of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever had. He put this whiskey infused cherry in mine that took it over the top. Like I said, perfectly balanced as it was not too sweet not too sour. My other two co workers asked for him to surprise them and they both loved their drink. We ended up going to a rooftop bar after dinner and literally paid for the drink, took a sip of the kerosene that was just given to us and left it full at the bar and said we're going back to Tommy. Even if we don't end up staying at the hotel (I don't see why I wouldn't because it's amazing), i would come back to hang out with Tommy and have him whip me up some amazing cocktails.”
“I ordered from uber eats and it was my first time getting anything from a Ramen Restaurant. The food was amazing and i just randomly picked something from the menu. Definitely check this place out!!”
“when we dined in, my first experience with this place, they were hosting a big party of college basketball players, they kept their cool were very attentive and the food was delicious!!”
“I am gonna try this place again because they were so nice and the food was fresh, but it just didnt hit like i wish it would have. The pad thai was ok, not great...and the roti was the same. The grilled chicken was very very good and made me curious to see what other specialties they may ”

Thaihey NOLA
“So glad we stopped in! Food was incredible!! One of best meals ever. I had thai coffee, ribeye skewer with tamarind, fried okra and chicken noodle curry. My friend had the ravioli. Perfect weather to dine outside. Thank you!”
Fine Dining
“Amazing experience! We've been here 4 times now and it just keeps getting better. Tina and her team took wonderful care of us. Everything we ate was perfection too! The filet was the most tender and flavorful steak, and the lamb chops were spiced just right and so delicious. The lobster bisque and chocolate dessert were also top notch! We will keep coming here on every trip!”
“My wife and I went There for our anniversary and had a tasting menu w premium wine and it was one of the best meals we have had globally! Spoke w his son who took time to make sure everything was to there standards. What an exceptional experience. Great job to the entire staff! ?”
“Maybe it's only because we spent a full week in NOLA eating some of the best food in the country... but this one stood out as really good, just not great. No reason to rush back. Husband really enjoyed his cioppino, my lamb's flavors were spot on but the way they were played was a challenge to eat. Server was nice but we felt like we were an afterthought to him most of the time.”
“I loved this place! The vibes, ambiance, aesthetic, decor, all of it was just so cute! We went late on a Thursday and there wasn't a lot of people, but it was nice to experience the place practically to ourselves. Will definitely be coming back to try more drinks. We had the Hurricane and several Espresso martinis and they were delicious”
“Our waiter was great, but the only thing is online we requested a slice of cake at the table for my wife's birthday and we didn't get it. We ordered the bread pudding to go”

LUFU NOLA
“We visited Lufu Nola and everyone loved their dishes. We started with Pani Poori and it was fun and tasty. I had the Macher Paturi and it was amazing. My daughter had the lamb and it was also delicious. My husband and son had angara chicken and loved it and my older son had the khayali pulao and also loved it. We all definitely recommend Lufu Nola!”
“Working in the area and stopped for breakfast and little information. Very very helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Thanks for the coffee with no sugar. Will be back.”

Lilly's Café
“I don’t know if it was my experience but I didn’t really enjoy the food . Just the spring rolls they were good . I didn’t even eat my Pho just the noodles. But maybe it can be amazing for you . Go try it out! The service was amazing they were super nice.”
Cheap Eats
“PJ's Coffee utilizes only the top 1% of Arabica Beans which is considered the best coffee bean in the world. The staff at this location (Canal Blvd.) is super friendly, patient, and helpful. The store draws in a lot of natural light, is spacious, and always clean. This location just underwent a renovation, so the decor is fresh and otherwise cozy. It's a perfect place to meet with friends or study.”
“In town for a few days and came across this place by chance. AWESOME food & tasty espresso drinks- this place is definitely worth your time! The Surfer crepe is delicious. ?Dietary restrictions: I have a dairy allergy and it was accommodated with no issue. ?”
“The best beignets I've had in New Orleans. The praline beignets are so delicious! We had them at the French market and at the shop, both places were so good.”
“We were absolutely blown away by the experience here! The five of us got a wide variety of food and were genuinely in awe - some of the best food we have ever had. Waitstaff was so kind. Mac and cheese and friend chicken are must haves. Could not recommend more.”
“Great spot. Great food. Great drinks. First time here and the biscuits and graveyard great. Must try the chicken with the sweet heat sauce. Soo good. Can’t wait to come ”
“Forget the more known places in the quarter and find your way to Midcity for these beignets. They are light and fluffy and delicious. They also give you a shaker of powdered sugar, so you can decide how mich you want. And the service is great. It's also a beautiful place.Vegetarian options: BeignetsParking: They have their own lot.Kid-friendliness: It's basically a donut shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and handicap parking.”
“Food was good. I had the chicken, waffle, and bacon sandwich. I would order it again. My wife ordered eggs benedict, she said it was ok, but would try something different next time. The staff were very friendly.”
“After reading reviews and recommendations we decided on this specific location, primarily because of the white chocolate bread pudding pancakes!! Our server, Kristen, was fantastic. She has an awesome personality and infectious smile. Our food and drinks were delicious! It's great to have so many options. We sat outside and because it was early in the morning, we had a peaceful, unrushed experience. Based on other reviews I am guessing later in the day could be hectic.”
“You can't go wrong with the gumbo, red beans and rice, or Bloody Mary. Ask to sit in Russel's section - he is so kind and knowledgeable. The scenery is beautiful in any section of the restaurant. Get a Pimm's Cup to go!”
“Came for the famous frozen Irish coffees, left satisfied with drinks in hand! So delicious and refreshing on a warm day - we paid $15 ish for 2 drinks, very worth!”
“Really cute shop with loads of natural light and cozy areas to work and hang out. They offer single origin espresso on the menu and the upcharge is minimal, only 50 cents. The barista working was friendly and made a perfectly smooth cappuccino and cortado. Would definitely visit again.”
“Photos and menu on Google Maps were incorrect based upon our visit. At 9am on a Saturday, there were only a few cookies available for food. We were too hungry tod stay for just coffee. Looks like a cute place, but don't rely on the pictures.”
“I won't be able to say enough good things about this little gem. If I could give more stars, I would. The owner, Samantha, made us feel so at home here. We sat and chatted with her and got to try quite a few things: a muffaletta breadstick, toasted oatmeal cookie, blueberry orange roll, ham egg and cheese pastry, and the Naya roll. Oh, and a double shot of espresso. Yum! Everything was absolutely divine, and you can tell they put love and care into what they make. You can even watch them as they are hard at work in the kitchen. This is a phenomenal spot that should be a must on anyone's list for NOLA. Thank you!!!???”
“Parleaux is an amazing place for interesting one of a kind beers. I had not been there since 2019....until today. So glad they have expanded their hours to include Tuesday. Back in 2019 I had to wait until Thursday to go. So much better than Avenue Pub which truly stinks.I returned again on November 28. Beer is awesome and CJ is great too.”
“Best breakfast in NOLA! I can't stay away! The pain perdue with a side of foster sauce is in my top 10 things of all time to eat! My partner takes about the boudin. And of course, Mary is the best server you could ask for!”
“Not to bad however kinda overhyped on the sliders. I did enjoy them but for the price you can find better cheaper elsewhere. Also, not much soda options but their homemade juices are good; again, pricey.”
“This is a great locals hangout. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The owners of the Junction also own a farm . That being said it’s pretty much farm to ”
“Some of the best food that we had in New Orleans. One of the only places that I ate here where I found high quality and freshly prepared ingredients. Great prawns and great service. I would recommend it highly if eating on magazine street.”
“We are down from St.Louis Mo.on a girls trip to see Stevie Nick's concert and we made a mini vacation out of it so we stopped in for dinner our first night, the food was excellent so was our service we really enjoyed ourselves.”
“Fabulous distillery experience! Great interaction with the distillers and tour guide was very informative...Gentilly Gin and Irish Channel Whiskey were our faves...along with the cocktail options at the bar! Definitely a must visit when in NOLA!”
“Great atmosphere, good drinks. A few online articles described this place as the "speakeasy" however that is in error. This location however was very comfortable, and worth a look and a few beverages.”

Afrodisiac
“The restaurant Afrodisiac Nola in New Orleans LAThis restaurant is definitely worth the experience! Great Customer Service! Everyone was friendly! They are very busy but quick! They food was very good! We were looking for some Jamaican food! And was recommended this location by some of the local barbers ?!We ordered the oxtails and fish with brussels sprouts and sweet potato plantain .It was delicious! Highly recommend this location for some great food!If traveling at night you may miss it the area is dark! Because we missed it!It’s a business that looks like a house . Great art work on the walls of the business ! It’s the first thing I noticed when I walked in! Medium Space for dining area ! Does have back yard seating ! Go and enjoy yourself!”

Ruby Slipper

Addis Nola
“First time eating Ethiopian food, and when I tell you, this place exceeded my expectations! The food is delicious, and I had to different orders. The atmosphere is amazing, and we sat in the booth, and the waiter knows the memo very well and suggested the perfect food choice for us. I don't normally drink the water from restaurants because it's normally tap, but they have spring water, and it was very fresh and clear! I will definitely be back soon!”
“I hate driving to the West Bank (because I don't enjoy driving) but I will drive to Alaska for these fish tacos. And the Algiers Point locations line is always shorter than uptown.”
“Great spot, always delivers. The tasting card with the espresso was a nice touch and helped to appreciate the flavors more. When it’s warm out it’s like the cold brew and chai scone were just meant to be!”
“I don't think I'll ever eat at a more delightful and delicious local restaurant. I had the saag and chingri malai shrimp in gravy, with appam and naan on the side. The appam was deliciously fluffy with a great coconut flavor. The naan was cooked perfectly and had brushed ghee and toasted spices on top. I had a great cocktail that had a good quality tequila in it, an awesome stout reduction and some mace (nutmeg) spice. It was perfect.”
“Antidote Juice is AWESOME. Their juice is SO fresh and the flavor is consistent, not to mention the fact that their juice and shots are stored in glass bottles as opposed to plastic. Lastly the staff does everything they can to accommodate my needs and requests!”

The Backyard
“Loved this place. Very affordable and the food was delicious. I never finish a burger but I ate every bite. The waiter and cook were very nice and service was excellent. Will go again.”
“I absolutely love this place. The service is phenomenal and their selection is fantastic. The cheese “master” knows her cheeses and is super helpful. The patio is fun to sit and enjoy the weather. I also go whenever I’m in the area!”

“We found this place online while visiting from out of town. The service was great and the food was delicious. The restaurant is small but very welcoming. I highly recommend checking this place out!”

Bésame
“Food was great and the host was nice enough to squeeze us in without a reservation before e a show at the Joy Theater. Prices were a bit high but the guacamole, arepas and cauliflower were amazing.”
“Such a cool idea- “make your own charcuterie” and backyard live jazz. Go early (before 7) to make sure you get a table. Definitely worth the trip from the tourist areas.”
“Completely exceptional dining experience. I am so glad we found this little gem. The menu is set daily, based on what is fresh. And it is made to perfection. Our server, Rene, was extremely kind, and engaging. I truly didn’t expect such a good experience, considering the atmosphere - candidly it’s very ~meh~. But I considered that part of its charm. Also, the prices are totally fair and reasonable. Don’t sleep on this place. It’s so so so good.”

Maïs Arepas
“What a nice surprise! We had a lovely dinner at this Colombian restaurant, starting with a wonderful crab leg appetizer DELICIOUS. The stuffed arepas were great too, and filling. I can't wait to return and try some of the soups and entrees! Restaurant is in a wonderful old building in a neighborhood that is changing-lots of new housing built in a traditional style. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! Thanks for a very nice evening!”

Olive
“I come to Olive every time I’m in New Orleans for business and it never disappoints. I love the Kufta Kabab plate (ground beef and lamb). My husband is an Arab and I’ve had a lot of Arabic food and Olive is some of the best.”
“We came here for crawfish as I had the place saved for years. They’ve transitioned to a BBQ place and we didn’t leave disappointed. Everything was delicious.”
“Great to find a cafe which is all vegan, so you don't need to search the menu for options.Vegetarian options: I had the Creole scrambled tofu "omelette" toast and an oat milk cappuccino. I found the portions small for the price paid. Cappuccino was good.Later in the day i returned to have another cappuccino with a vegan brownie, but I was disappointed as the brownie was a bit stale and dry.Still, it's great to have a completely vegan place, so you don't have to search the menu and can just pick up anything you fancy without having to read all ingredients.”
“Everything was amazing! Came with a party of five and was able to get squeezed in. So first, no reservations which is kind of a sad panda situation but hey, they can command that kind of demand so good on them. Literally everything we put in our mouths was great. The corn bread they put on the table had a little spicy zip which was a great amuse bouche. Their gumbo was different but still good. (They put potato salad in it which was admittedly strange but still good). I ordered a potato crusted fish which was crunchy and light in an amazing sauce. Friends got the redfish and alligator cheesecake. I'd trust anyone to order anything and have faith that they'll be happy with what they get at Jacques I Amos The only complaint was we all ordered the special cocktail which was a watermelon mojito and it did t really work with the straw. STILL TASTY THOUGH.”
“We ordered a muffuletta and a chop salad. The salad was fresh, delicious, and great quality. The muffuletta-YUMMYYY!!! They make a really nice muffuletta, I mean you have to try it!! I split the sandwich and the salad with my boyfriend and we were happy and full at the end. Service was nice. We placed a call in order so we could just run in and grab it so I'm not sure about the ambience inside. We took ours to-go and ate it in City Park- a lovely little lunch.”
“We stumbled onto this place and loved it. Mike, the bartender, is a throwback to the days when bartenders truly liked bartending. He is super friendly and a great mixologist!!”
“This place is busy. Very busy. Worth the wait? Let's go. This place is conveniently located near freret street, and to the hospital I've been working at lately. Convenience is key. Walked up on a Friday at 11 and it was slammed. 35-45 minute wait for 2+ people. For me a solo dude, 10-15. Was put on the list and just sat outside and enjoyed the weather. Glad it was a pretty day because Nola can get hot. Was sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen. These guys and gals work very hard. Very hard. Orders coming in left and right and they had it all under control. For the bearcat breakfast with a pancake. This comes with two eggs your way, bacon/bison sausage, and crispy potatoes. Now at most places crispy potatoes are meh. Forgettable. These crispy potatoes are heavenly. And I'm not embellishing. Truly the best fried taters I've had. They're red new potatoes that I think are boiled, smashed, then left to cook in the deep fryer for gawd forever it looked like. They're dusted with Cajun seasoning and. Yeah. Chefs kiss. Their butter or their syrup is also amazing. There's something in there that makes it extra flavorful. Couldn't put my finger on it but it was very good. Pancake was awesome. Like everything else. Great meal, good vibes, Hailey was an amazing waitress. Super sweet. Attentive. If I can afford to wait, I will eat here again.”
“I was in town for a conference and lucky enough to find this place. On different days I had the rainbow bowl, the breakfast burrito, and a skinny green smoothie. Everything was delicious and made from whole foods as opposed to processed. Service was friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended!”
“On a recommendation from the concierge at our accommodations we went to Plates for dinner. We were seated promptly and offered water and beverages by Amour, who told us that it was his first day on the floor. I was amazed by how much he knew about the menu and the variety of different dishes available. Our server for the meal was Lotus who was very attentive and descriptive each course in detail as it arrived. We chose to try the Chef’s Choice four course meal and were very pleased with everything. We were served the patatas bravas and the roasted brassica salad for starters. I don’t think I’ve ever had potatoes as a starter but they were amazing and the salad complimented them nicely. The next course was the wild mushrooms, the Louisiana crawfish croquettes and the grilled lamb skewer. The croquettes were a huge hit, the lamb was tender and very nicely seasoned but a tad salty for my wife. The main plate was the crispy coq au vin. It was perfectly prepared though the collard greens served with it were not to our taste. Neither of us grew up eating collard greens and haven’t developed a taste for them.Dessert was the Spanish almond cake with honey ice cream and marcona almonds which perfectly rounded out the courses. The cake was very light and the ice cream was amazing. My wife would buy the ice cream by the gallon if she could!Altogether it was a very pleasant evening. We both enjoyed the whole experience and agreed that it was one of the most memorable meals we’d had in a long time. We’ll be back!”
“We stopped because the door was open. He was only serving falafel. It wasn’t just falafel (3) ,but a dinner with salad, humus, stuffed grape leaves,(2). 2 of us split the dinner. Also bought tomato-basil tortilini soup. He told us he wasn’t supposed to be open. People show up when they see the door open. The food was wonderful. There were several types of soup available.”
“The food here is delicious and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, especially on a beautiful day. Their Kee Mao is the best I’ve ever had. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. The desserts are awesome too! Great place to get a meal with friends.Vegetarian options: Most anything can be modified to be vegetarian.”

Zasu
“Impeccably distinct for its food and service, Zasu is a NOLA gem. The imaginative flavors and impressive presentation make this small locale a must-try for locals and visitors such as myself. The service was personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. I particular like the lush green decor that elevated the ambience and sense of spaciousness. My only concern was the noise level once the house was full. It's my own issue and less Zasu's. I would absolutely return more often if I lived in New Orleans. Until then, it will remain on the top of my list for future reservations. Kudos to the chef, staff and bartender.”
“Very cool restaurant/bar with a hip brick interior and lovely patio, delicious food with a focus on English “delicacies”, variety of interesting and tasty cocktails, and very friendly and attentive staff!”
“Just go on ahead and eat here. Go right ahead because i'm sure you'll be pleased. The service was decent. We did not have to long await between being sat, ordering and receiving our meals. They also provide complimentary rolls (I love bread so i was delighted). Now the food was SOOO good. The fried alligator bites were very tasty, along with the mac and cheese. Unfortunately the roux for our Gumbo was burnt so we did not enjoy it as much. Now the Louisiana Cochon was the star! It wasn't even my plate and after one bite I knew I ordered wrong (although my entree of the smoke beef short rib was also tasty). If you eat pork please order the Louisiana Cochon because you will not be disappointed! I'm sure they have to have someone's grandma back there cooking because it was perfect!”
“Jimmy our server set the tone with his passion and knowledge for the food and the menu. Everything was divine. We've eaten at all the top rated New Orleans restaurants and repeat few. This one will be a repeat restaurant. Leave room for dessert and order the fried bread pudding. Must have the fried green tomatoes and crawfish Mac & cheese and get the taco trio if it's taco Tuesday.”
“I work at a brewery in Colorado and I gotta say, if you’re in town and you want great beer, stop here. They’re producing high quality beer. The atmosphere is great and the bartenders are very professional and personable.”

Sofia
“We are regulars at Sofia for brunch! The food, music, and bottomless mimosas hit every time. It's also in a great location to go to walk around the city, go to a bar, or have another move afterwards. My favorite dish is the cacio e pepe, but sad to see the ricotta pancakes were taken off the menu! We hope that they bring them back in the future!”
“I have a new favorite restaurant. This place is phenomenal. We went last night to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was not disappointing. We started with the fried oysters appetizer and the pork belly appetizer and both were amazing. The pork belly appetizer could have been a little spicier, but it was delicious. We then shared a serving of the gumbo. We split a 22 oz. ribeye for the entree. It was one of the most delicious steaks i have eaten in my life. We will definitely go back and recommend this to our friends.”
“I think about this Acme Oyster House a lot .... Wish I could eat their Chargrilled Oysters every week! It's covered in an herb butter sauce and they serve it with bread. IT'S AMAZING!”
“Absolutely charming bakery with various delicious options - and all vegan!I visited a few days before Mardi Gras to get my hands on some vegan King Cake... and to my surprise, I was spoiled for choice on different flavours! The cream cheese and pecan praline king cakes were amazing!I also grabbed the pumpkin cheddar biscuit which contains sausage, tofu scramble and greens. A super tasty bunch!Vegetarian options: All vegan menu”
“This is Mexican restaurant is a rare gem in New Orleans East. Better than the others around the city. Family owned and food is authentic and not over priced. My sisters and I love it.”
“Amazing service and the food had great flavor! My husband got the pork chop and I got the filet. The desserts were to die for. You must try the whiskey bread pudding soufflé and the crème brûlée.”
“I'm giving this great review cause I just saw the Owner on TV, and I must say I live in Washington State, so I can't be there to support you physically, but this is how I can show my support go go ”
“I ordered the bbq chicken pizza with no bacon and it was delicious! My second time ordering it. The wings were very crispy even though some had the sauce on them. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was good and will definitely try more foods next time.”
“Very decent place, had an appetizer with eggplant, very tasty. Also had the Italian salad, it came with olives, tomatoes, artichokes, with the Balsamic Vinegrette, enjoyed it greatly.0”

“Amazing restaurant. Great atmosphere. Very modern and cozy but also luxurious. There is certain seating where you can see the cooking take place in the entire kitchen. All the servers are absolutely amazing, and the food is incomparable. It is one of the restaurants that I continue to go to again and again.”
“This is a real cute little cafe near the convention center. We went on a Saturday late morning and only had to wait about 20m in line. Well worth the wait! Crab Cake Benedict was delicious, pancakes were, too. Not sure what they put in them, but it works. The French toast was good, could have been soaked a little longer, but still good. Juices are fresh squeezed! Everyone was nice, although very busy. My favorite part, the grits!”
“Overall Thoughts: Hidden towards the back of other restaurants/shops without a clear sign, this spot was empty when we went for lunch at 12pm but gradually got a bit busier later on. The interior is comfortable, homey, and modestly decorated; I loved the designs of their bowls and cups. Granted I don’t have Ethiopian food often, but this is the best I’ve had so far— the food is delicious, bursting with bold, robust spices and flavors, and extremely filling. We paid ~$24 per person, which was very reasonable for how filling and excellent the food was. The service was also great and very friendly!Food I tried:- Sambusa with Collared Greens (4.1/5): This appetizer was just okay— it is very similar to Thai spring rolls, even with the same sweet and spicy sauce. The collared greens gave it a bit of a unique flair, and it had a very crispy exterior.- Ethiopian Coffee: Definitely more of an acquired taste that I don’t yet have— it’s extremely strong / concentrated and tasted herbal. They combined all the entrees into one family-style plate with a side of injera:- Split Red Lentil Stew (4.7/5): This was super good— the lentils had so much flavor and I loved its soft, mushy texture. The sides of women and cabbage were flavorful and delicious as well.- Fish Gulash (4.6/5): The fish pieces were crispy, flavorful, and well-sauteed.- Lamb Alicha (4.3/5): This was good, with a distinct lamb flavor balanced out by the other veggies and spices.- Kitfo (4.3/5): This was quite good too, with very pleasant flavors and spices.- Injera (4.6/5): The injera here is thicker than other places I’ve been, but with the same slightly sweet and sour flavor and light, spongey texture.—Price (relative to peers): 4.4/5Food: 4.5/5Ambience: 4.5/5Service: 4.9/5Overall Value: 4.6/5”

Saffron nola
“This is the best Indian food in America. I’m a Brit, have traveled around the world and spent time in India, and I have never eaten anything close to this authentic, rich and spiced right since moving here in 2015.The owner is a rare true inspiration for anyone wanting to learn about making the right choices.Colin who served us at the bar had a depth of knowledge about the food and drinks that made the whole experience a joy. I’d consider flying to NOLA for a day just to eat here.If you can find better lamb chops in this country let me know.”

BEARCAT CBD
“This place was amazing. We had some issues with my Canadian number getting kicked off the wait list (be prepared for a wait) and we ended up waiting an hour for a table. However, as soon as Ty realized the issue, he and Blake were real quick to take care of us and bring us some comped mimosas and juices to make up for it. Service was phenomenal, great recommendations for food and so friendly. Now the food? Best thing we ate in Nola. Absolutely worth the wait and I’m still dreaming about it. We got the Couyon Daddy and the Hot Chicken Plate and they were both AMAZING. Yeah. Still dreaming about it.”
“Hole in the wall local eatery with a deliciously spicy gumbo, and the best simple shrimp Po boy smothered in incredibly delectable sauce that I've ever had in my life. Not fancy, just plain delicious and friendly; The service and food were outstanding. Don't miss out on a hidden gem!”
“Moved to New Orleans Friday. This was by far the best meal we had. The staff was friendly. We had the Oyster Luciana. Phenomenal. The Crawfish Mac and cheese wow. Gumbo was spicy and delicious. Will be back to try other dishes.”
“For a place in ground zero of a touristy area, this was a dining highlight for us. My wife pronounced the Mint Julep she had here as the greatest cocktail she had had in decades, maybe ever.”
“Our waiter was an excellent host, providing us with lots of personalized local spots for our vacation. We ordered a bunch of plates to share, which several staff complimented as their faves, and enjoyed every bite. Highly recommend the tuna ceviche and fried chicken!”

“Cute little restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious! The falafel sandwich and pepper soup were both vegan! They had all the silverware stored for each person within the table!”

“Great place all around. Food was delicious (jambalaya, po boys), drinks were great (hurricane and good beer), and the place per se is fantastic with a vibrant vibe and good music. The place to visit in Frenchmen street.”
“We are visiting from Pennsylvania. We happened to stop for lunch yesterday. The staff was welcoming and kind. The food was fantastic. I had the Ruby special and my husband had a Mac and cheese burger. The rest of the table had breakfast. Everyone loved their meal, even the picky grandkids! Thank you for a wonderful meal!”
“Absolutely great venu with beautiful decorations. The beer is solid and a wide selection, something for most folks. If you have been there in the past, their flavor profile changed (at least the beers I had) to a less sweet taste in their beers.”

“First of all, this place has really chill vibes. The music choices are amazing and the staff is very friendly. I also haven't seen cocktail prices this low in years. Couldn't recommend it more if you are in NOLA.”
“Really enjoyed our meal here! I studied abroad in Peru, and this restaurant brought me right back. Their Pisco Sours are on point and the chicha morada was delicious. The tuna ceviche was my favorite.”
“I highly recommend this place. Salads and bowls were delicious. Super nice employees, working hard!Vegetarian options: Mostly all vegetarian. Saw only egg and salmon listed on a couple of items.”

“This place has character. From the moment you walk up to the build, to the memes on the wall. I got the mushroom bacon Swiss and it lived up to my expectations completely. The price isn't bad either. I'd eat here anytime it gets suggested by friends.Vegetarian options: They have an impossible burger version of their burgers. Not everyone's cup of tea, but they are attempting to be inclusive.”

“Fantastic meal! We shared the annatto sesame rolls, spaghetti in coconut crab broth and aloo chaat. The rolls were one of the best things ever and the spaghetti was delicious. We should have had the beets instead of the aloo chaat, which were not great. The milk tea crème brûlée was fun and so, so good. Service was attentive without being annoying. I was surprised this place wasn't packed on a Friday night as it was such a great dining experience.”
“Met up with some friends at the last minute. The food was flavorful, drinks were on point and the staff was extremely pleasant. Will return.Parking: Free street parking if you know where to park. Pay to Park is available.”
“Found this wonderful BBQ location after spending a full day at the incredible WWII Museum. Knew this was going to be great when we arrived several NOLA police officers were having a meal too. Asking what they recommended, responded "EVERYTHING!" They were not misleading whatsoever.”
“This adorable neighborhood restaurant has been a staple in the community for as long as I can remember. The food is always excellent, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are always wonderfully attentive. For all the years I've been going there with family and friends it never disappoints. They also put fresh mint in every glass of iced tea which is delightful and rarely done anymore.”

“Pretty good food for the price. There are a lot of different flavors to choose from, and the wings are fried fresh to order. If it gets busy, the wings can get a little soft on the way home, but are otherwise crisp when eaten in store.”
“The shrimp fried rice was amazing. The sesame chicken sauce was just as good. But I wasn’t a fan of the meat itself. Weird taste. But that’s not my problem. My problem is them not taking debit/credit cards. It’s 2023 I hardly ever carry cash. I was hungry and had my mind set on this place so I had to go to an ATM. Adding extra time and wasting gas. But overall. Everything else was great. I really did enjoy the Rice.”
“I've been to collettes over a dozen times, and I've never had one bad experience. It's the only reason I go to nola now, it's an incredible experience and I recommend it to everyone in the lifestyle I meet.”
“Asuka Sushi & Hibachi offers an authentic and delightful culinary journey through Japanese cuisine. The sushi and sashimi are impeccably fresh, and the tempura is crispy and light. The ambiance and service enhance the overall dining experience, making it a top choice for lovers of Japanese food. Thumbs”
“Best little coffeehouse around. We love the local vibe and the delicious chicory coffee. So many snacks and sandwiches to chose from. Hang out were the locals go !”
“We stumbled upon this gem at Chartres House. We really wanted a great view for dinner and good food. We were able to get a balcony seat. The food was delicious! We had the boudin balls and fried pickles as appetizers. For dinner we had Blackened shrimp and dinner sampler plate that gave us lot of choices. I wish I had taken pictures of the food but we were busy eating it. We had great, friendly service.”
“The location and atmosphere was not very chic but baby the food was on point and the service was excellent. They were so patient, helpful, and friendly! The food was bomb! Thanks New Orleans for a great restaurant on my trip!”
“I love this place! Customer service is phenomenal! Food portions are nice sized. I always get crawfish and crabs from here. Always hot & fresh!!!! Amazing flavor! They even split my crawfish up into different bags for my kids, and they do it with a “No problem at all” & a smile. Definitely a family favorite for us! Y’all are missing out if you pass this place up!! 10/10Kid-friendliness: They talk to my kids and answer all their questions. No matter who is in there, the staff is always upbeat, cheerful, and openly friendly.Parking: Huge parking lot”
“My husband and I went here for the burlesque show and had a blast. The service for seating and bar were excellent. It is a small venue, and while our show was not to capacity, I am sure it would be a tight squeeze with a full house [this is the only downside]. We would definitely come back for another visit.”
“The Bud's Broiler across from Delgado was a childhood staple, especially after Carrollton Boosters soccer games. This newer one is right off of City Park Rd on canal and has plenty of seating. You can't go wrong with the #6 dressed cheddar burger (I usually hold the pickles and mustard) or if I'm feeling "healthy", I get the #10 regular Chicken a sandwich (they also have an eat fit one). Throw in the Chili Hickory Sauce Cheese French Fries and a Coke Zero and you're set. The guys working the counter have always been friendly. Sometimes the place can get busy and you'll wait a minute for your order.”
“I visit Freddie's Chicken N' Waffles in July 2022 . My hotel was around the corner and I walked past and they were closing. The next morning I got up early. I had the fried strawberry pancake. This place is a hiding gem best breakfast in town. Never ever tasted great breakfast like this. I only eat breakfast at Freddie's Chicken N Waffles my entire stay. The wait time was slow and the waiter was busy but had a great attitude. Food is cooked at the time you ordered it and was worth the wait. My friend had the fried chicken and waffles and she said that it was good. My favorite is the strawberry fried pancake delicious!!! If I every return back to NO I would visit again. My own relatives who live in NO did not even know about this place!”
“Such a chill atmosphere with super chill and attentive staff. Good Vibes were rolling the entire time . The manager came over to introduce herself and just talked to us like we have been friends for years.Highly recommend coming to Qru. Def try their wings. On point On point”
“Great food, great service.. definitely will be back for the poboy.Kid-friendliness: The owner was very kind. He gave the youths a gift upon leaving and our kids loved the cheese pizza and fries”

“Different music surrounds you in the hustle and bustle of the French district. You sit outdoors at the round table waiting about 10 minutes for fresh beignets and drink out of a teacup filled with delicious hot chocolate.”
“Heard that coming to Cafe Du Monde is on the bucket list for some, so we had to try while in NOLA; I’m sure there is a reason why they sell 30,000 of the beignets everyday!! Waited in a long line up that moved relatively fast. There is a separate line for take-out. Their operation is a well oiled machine. There is a large outdoor seating area with lots and lots of tables. There are only a handful of items to choose from- coffees and hot chocolate to their famous beignets. We ordered the cafe au lait, hot chocolate and beignets. Had never tried beignets before so it was a treat especially with the mounds of powdered sugar they put on top. You get 3 in an order. The texture is definitely doughie and the powdered sugar adds that sweetness that is needed. Tastes good when you dunk it in your coffee. The hot chocolate was great according to our kiddos. Local musician playing right outside made it more enjoyable. We visited every single day we were in NOLA. It’s cash only! They aren’t 24x7 anymore.”
“Great service, waiter was very polite and nearby when needed. Food was great! All 4 of us loved our dishes. We got the baked Alaska to share, definitely get that!!”
“Historic place that was fun to visit. One of the dining rooms is very loud. Service is OUTSTANDING. The food was disappointing. Two fish dishes overcooked, the third boring flavors. The lamb chops were untrimmed and mostly pure fat. Gumbo and onion soup where meh. Great creme brulee.”
“Classy place for brunch. Their eggs Benedict is a hit! And don't forget to try bananas foster. They make it tableside and explain how it was invented in their very restaurant. Delicious food and wonderful service!”
“Excellent ice cream and plenty of flavors from which to choose. My favorite ice cream is rum raisin. Not many places serve this flavor these days, and it is almost impossible to find in grocery stores. Angelo Brocato has an excellent Rum Raisin.”
“Let's start with A-mazing food! Our party imbibed in pear cosmos. Then had the beet salad and iceberg wedge. For entrees, we had bbq shrimp which was messy and delicious (hello bibs) as well as the jambalaya pasta (first foray with duck) and pork chop. Everything was exceptional and the hand baked bread was a must for sopping up all the sauces! Yes! We finished with pecan pie, bread pudding and Mr. B's coffee. The food was nothing short of awesome. Our waiter Michael was attentive and courteous. The only heads up I would give is that atmosphere was ambient but loud so intimate dinner would be a non-starter.”
“Buy the Groupon! Also....Be sure when making reservations to request outside seating/courtyard if you would like to eat outside. I made a reservation and apparently overlooked the special request section.....I honestly think they could have accommodated me anyway if they actually cared to. I made a reservation. It's not like I walked off the street. And we were only a party of 2.There was plenty of seating outside and we were punctual and showed up on time. I also wouldn't have minded to wait a little. However, Ricardo our server was so awesome and attentive! Great server and very informative on the menu. Very nice and helpful with any questions I had. Loved the Oysters and Cesar salad!”
“Very busy when I visited. I was seated strait away and drink followed shortly. Waited a while for food as it was busy but it was worth the wait. Nice resterant and great staff.”
“Stopped in for a light dinner after getting into our room at 8:30. I had oysters and bread. Good, cold and salty oysters and the bread is amazing. Aly was our server and did a great job.”
“Fantastic service! Delicious food, ambiance was great. All around great experience. Jacqueline was especially wonderful and gave us extra special attention for a great birthday dinner.”
“A really great Cajun inspired staple of New Orleans. The gumbo was good but the andouille crusted fish was amazing (we couldn’t stop talking about it). The server was very attentive. We will be back the next time we are in town.”
“Our waiter was great, but the only thing is online we requested a slice of cake at the table for my wife's birthday and we didn't get it. We ordered the bread pudding to go”

“I’ve tried many Boba Milk teas. Going Cha is the gold standard. The boba texture was freshly cooked, soft and slightly chewy. Perfect! The milk tea had a very deep and full taste to it. Very strong tea taste. Not watered down like at some other spots. I recommend the large size. The medium was just not enough. It went too fast. I almost ordered a second one!”
“Visiting from Philly and decided to pop into Ecology. The beers were great! Being from Philly, which is an IPA city their two IPAs were tasty. The space is amazing, very open and airy and they have an awesome outdoor area. I love their mission of community surrounding beer, it’s just an awesome space. If I’m ever back in NOLA I will definitely be stopping by again!”
“So a friend and I went because of all of the great reviews. The place is beautiful. The atmosphere, the vibe, the waiters, everything was beautiful. Very small menu. The food was so so. We got the guacomole ( has pistachios in it). Shrimp tacos ( my friend did not like), and the birria tacos ( I loved them). We also got the hurricane drink ( it was soo good). Spent $80, felt like it wasn't worth it.Would def come back for drinks. I think it has room to grow since it is new.”
“Just a great night out. To start, we had boudin balls, shrimp wraps with remoulade, and mushroom toast. All were excellent. Entrees were "baked potato gnocchi" and red snapper Keep in mind they seem to have a number of cocktails and specials that are not on the printed menus (a la the red snapper). Both entrees were excellent. The gnocchi were light and fluffy and my snapper was perfectly cooked and spiced with something that reminded me of the middle east spice "baharat". We'll be back for sure. Forgot to mention, they have good draft beers that are also not seen on the menus.”
“Great! Excelente! Autentico. Authentic. The Reina (shredded chicken) with soft white cheese and avocado was just like my Venezuelan friend makes. The Mr. had the Mechada (shredded beef) with cheddar. Both the sauces we tried were very good.Vegetarian options: Veegan option would be mushrooms. There are a couple cheese options also.Parking: Free street parking. Paid lot a block away.Wheelchair accessibility: Nope. Sorry. Two steps going in and would barely be room. Just a counter for ordering on one side and a counter for eating on the other.”
“King cakes are amazing. Had pizza today. Fantastic! Soft and bubbly dough. You will love this place. Atmosphere is great. Hang out on side patio. Super cool location and building. Great staff. Owner is always there overseeing everything and talking with customers.Vegetarian options: Pastries and pizzas are vegetarian.”
“This was a total hidden gem right above the bustling music halls of Frenchman street! The food was absolutely amazing. The charbroiled oysters, lamb lollipops, and octopus were perfection. With all the big name restaurants we visited in New Orleans, this was our favorite meal of the trip. Ambience was nice and quiet and the wines were awesome. You won't regret giving this place a try!”
“If you’re looking for a great time in the Nola area and want to have drinks, I would highly recommend this bar. Bartenders were very friendly and music was great. My friends and I were impressed with the amount of fun we had in this bar alone we wished we arrived sooner! Definitely will be back to visit the new friends we’ve made and make more memories.”
“Ohhhhhh chilllleeeee... Excellent food and service. Chef Shonda is amazing. Her food is to LIVE for!!!! I recently happened upon her cuisine by way of a friend and I am so thankful for the share. Chef Shonda offers fine dining food to go, and when I say it's fine, it truly is. I would expect some of the dishes that she provides to be on a menu at an upscale restaurant. I love the fact that she is accommodating to patrons regarding their food needs. I have a few food constraints, hunnnnniiiieeeeeee, me and dairy are not friends... She makes certain to advise of the food ingredients in the event that you have a food allergy or something of that nature. On this particular day, I had j*** salmon, yellow rice & sautéed veggies; and it was simply amazing. I love salmon and the j*** sauce that she put on top was phenomenal. I didn't think that I could love salmon anymore than I already do. But that j*** sauce that she puts on it takes salmon to a whole 'nother level. And the yellow rice was accompanied with the mixed vegetables, simply divine. When eating the yellow rice I noticed each individual grain was separate and not sticking to the fork or another grain. It was light, fluffy and full of flavor. The vegetables were perfectly sautéed. There were no burnt marks on them. None were over or under cooked. Oh, and don't even get me started on the peach cobbler cheesecake. Oh well, see, you got me started so here we go... I ate mine and had to call back and ask if there was more. So happy she was able to accommodate me because I had two servings of the peach cobbler cheesecake, oh chile, it was great. Can I tell you the truth and let you know I ate my entrée and my dessert at the same time. Literally one spoon of the entrée... One spoon of dessert. #judgementfreezoneThe packaging and containers that the food was served in was above board for takeout. I mean it's personally labeled, very neat and orderly. I feel like I should pay extra just because of the nice packaging. She provides plastic and not that UNenvironmentally friendly Styrofoam. Her food is finger licking good from start to finish. As you can tell, look at the lack of contents of my bowl (see picture), there's a before and after, notice the difference?Hats off to Chef Shonda and her team job. Well done. I look forward to more takeout moments with Chef Shonda.”
“The food is very delicious, they have the best service and above all they always try to please customers to their liking.Best food in the east, any Hispanic food you want to try.”
“Atmosphere and people very cordial..Food good , but portion very skimpy...I ordered an omelet and got no bread. When the cook brought the omelets out , I asked for bread ; he brought some he had grilled. As I said , lovely place , but not the place to go if you are hungry.”
“We loved this place! The food was excellent. Our favorite thing we ordered was the steak tartare and it was soo good. It was different than any other steak tartare we’ve ever had but we loved it. I’m confused on the bad reviews about the service! Everything from the hosts to our server Reba was excellent! They we so friendly and even sparked up conversation with us. We will be back again before the end of our vacation.”
