“We love the French Quarter, but Magazine Street never disappoints. Lunch at Pêche today and it was so worth it: tuna dip, lightly battered fish sticks, and a fried oyster salad & the best old fashioned. Incredible food, great atmosphere. 10/10 ⭐️”
“Great owner Great food Thank me later”

“Bob Boudreau and I were in NOLA for 9 nights. Three of the nights we had reservations at other places with family. Our 1st night we looked up and found Jewel of the South. We loved it so much. we asked our nephew, his medical school advisor and his wife to join us. All three lived in NOLA and had never been here. All 5 of us would definitely go back in a heart beat. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great staff. GREAT ALL AROUND! FIVE STARS for Jewel of the South.”

“Best overall food experience ever! Every course was meticulously prepared and described perfectly so we could know exactly what we were tasting in every bite. the wine pairings were absolute perfection. Superb chefs, and the entire staff was friendly and professional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“We were blown away on our first visit this morning!! Ryan is a talented mixologist in the bar creating beautiful, delicious and truly unique drinks. Our server Louis was incredibly charming and attentive, giving us excellent menu choices —as it was a hard decision. Every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The whole experience was top-notch, and we can’t wait to come back!”
“We had the most amazing time at Cane & Table. Our group was there to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. The service was amazing and we made fast friends with Kate (our server) and Sam. Every single thing we ordered was better than the next (we ordered pretty much every thing on the menu). The drinks were the best we’ve had, especially the Paloma Thank you for a wonderful night. Can’t wait to go back.”

“The next time you’re in NO, make a reservation at August! You’ll thank us, I promise. 🤤 FIVE STAR REVIEW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The meal started out with a “gift from the chef.” A savory leek custard, topped with pumpkin mousse and a sprinkle of sweet & salty crunch, presented in a perfectly carved eggshell. We were given spoon bread as well, which was the lightest, airiest and creamiest corn muffin ever to cross my lips. The sommelier told us that the secret ingredient was sour cream. I guess the secret is out now! 😉 Our sommelier suggested Pinot Noir. Monty chose Belle Glos Las Alturas. Let’s just say that we started shopping for it online immediately after the first taste. It has a fuller body than a typical Pinot Noir, so smooth and juicy. Such a perfect pairing. 🤌🏼 Monty had the pecan-smoked venison tartare with celery root and mountain rose apple. The flavors and textures were out of this world! We combined a few bites of the tartare with a bit of spoon bread. Omg, I’ll say it again: Out. Of. This. World. 💥 I ordered the gnocchi "black and blue" with black truffles, jumbo lump crab and parmesan. Tender, yet slightly firm, with a delicate, pillowy texture, but the truffle took it to a whole ‘nuther level! They gnocchi’d it out of the park with this one. For dinner we shared duck three ways with Bayou Cora grits, foie gras, confit, chestnut mushrooms and cherry bounce. Y’all, I’ve had foie gras, but never before like this. An intensely flavorful silky texture that literally bursts on your tongue. It was absolutely divine. Dessert was hummingbird cake with creole cheesecake, bruleed banana and pineapple ice cream. I just don’t know what to say except the pastry chef knows exactly what she is doing!! This was definitely meal to remember with the love of my life, my favorite dining companion, and my partner in culinary escapades. I love our journey of flavorful adventures, seasoned with spice and a love that mirrors the diversity of a well-crafted menu. Here’s to more delicious chapters in our love story, baby, where every bite is a beautiful reminder of the incredible life we share! Cheers!! 🥂🥂”

“Totally amazing in every way highly recommend. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was cosy quiet despite being in the French Quarter. The luxury was in the detail and the highly professional staff at every level.”

“My first time here in New Orleans visiting heard about the famous Muffuletta sandwich and wanted to try it I picked Verti Marte a quaint but small friendly establishment! The sandwich did not disappoint very tasty huge in size I got mine warmed I will definitely go back when I visit to again 😄”
“First Aunt Tiki’s experience was about 15 years ago. This year my wife let me bring the kids. My 23 year old and I went to see my Cowboys get beat on Christmas Eve. Love this bar. New and fantastic every time I sneak in. Unfortunately after I left, in the rain, slip sliding over to Bourbon St. I eventually slipped my best slip and fractured my fibula, skinned my knees and scabbed up my forehead. I’m paying for it now but it was an epic adventure. Love all of you there but I’m gonna give the old liver a break for a while. 10 out of 10 if you’re cool!”
“I’ve heard the bartenders are great here and this is the place. I went Monday night, the bartender was ugly af. He knocked over a whole glass of wine on my friend and was unapologetic. Then charge my friend $6 for a Water. He said he was new lol We are service industry, we tip. The disrespect is not okay.”
“February 19th, 2020. Husband's 50th. Wanted a Mardi Gras birthday. He went to 'Bead & Boobs' on Bourbon whilst my short self wandered in this bar mid afternoon. I found a bar stool, kicked back and let Houla introduce me to a lovely spiced rum which became my companion the rest of the evening. The bar itself was clean, bathrooms were kept up and had a slappin playlist pumping. I watched drunken drama come in and out: a young couple saddled up and in mid drink the boyfriend realized he was surrounded by gays so he bolted, a gentleman asked me to babysit his darling Yorkie while he drained his snake, but the best was watching Houla superhero himself over the bar to rescue a very intoxicated woman from a total creep. That was legend! Enjoyed my 7 hour stay. Everyone needs to be here!!”
“I pass up other sandwich shops to specifically come to this one and get a roast beef po boy. Might actually be my favorite sandwich on earth. It's so flavorful, perfect munchie food. Staff is super friendly, prices are fair for quality, and it's got convenience store wares as well. Btw, my visits span over the past decade and I've been happy with the product over all of that time.”
“The food was not what I expected, it was hot, fresh, and beautifully presented.”
“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.”

“It’s dark, it’s cool, and they’ll play 60’s/70’s rock gems as the house music. The food is pretty good too. This is my favorite spot I’ve found after several years living in The Quarter. The vibe is perfect. Its the darkness and the music that really makes me not want to leave. It’s rock’n’roll without being a dive. Oh yeah, did I say the food is pretty good too?”
“Modern takes on traditional foods while maintaining cultural roots. I'm not Haitian and I have no experience with Haitian foods. Fritai offers an experience of Haitian culture and food with a modern side. Flavors are delicious. People are real and friendly. Some of the best cocktails in the Southeast: Go!”
“Outstanding!! I can’t say enough positive things about this restaurant! We were welcomed so nicely on New Years Eve. On a night where there is always a rush, we were welcomed with the utmost warmth! The cocktails were fabulous!! We had appetizers that were beyond yummy! I would order the lobster gnocchi a thousand times again! The duck was perfectly prepared. The dirty farro was delicious!! For dessert they had a gingerbread toffee cake that was lovely. Oh and BTW, get the bread service. You’ll be happy you did! if you get a chance you should absolutely go. It was worth every dollar!! We will be back very soon!!!”
“Headed to New Orleans in July, and Sweet Vegan Soul Food will be my first stop after leaving the airport. This will be my third visit to this restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! The facility is clean and the staff is so friendly. When traveling I’m always excited to locate a tasty vegan restaurant and this place is my spot when in New Orleans! I can’t rave about it’s food enough…simply delicious!”
“One of the best places for dinner in the French Quarter. Thank you for the food and the fantastic service!”

“I have been sending people to Bar Tonique for close to a year from my position as liquor vault manager at the Sazerac House. So many return to tell me what a great experience they had & to thank me for recommending it. I have left the position at Sazerac House & won't be sending any more from there, Good luck to all the craftsmen & women behind this truly wonderful place!”

“We strolled in here not knowing this place at all. Originally, we wanted to go to St. Roch Market, but we were not too impressed and left. Best decision ever! This unassuming little gem fed us a beautiful, creative, and delicious breakfast. Every item in the menu was an elevated and creative version of all our breakfast favorites. They have a lot of bar/counter seats, which is my favorite. You get to see your breakfast being cooked right in front of you.”
“My family and I absolutely love this place. We go to the Elmwood location most of the time! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Our only issue is we never know what to choose from because it’s all so good! Thank you District Donuts for always keeping your standards high and food fresh!”

“What an amazing, thoughtful, and tasteful experience at Etoile! Kat, the bartender was so charming and informative of the new tasting menu that is happening starting today! Get yourself over there for a cocktail and small plates. Everything is farm-to-table, locally-made or in-house. The cheeses were incredible that are made in house. The passionfruit sour cocktail was divine.
There is even a lovely local cat with a cute bowtie that matches the interior that comes around outside.
Big ups! This place was a perfect outing. No reservations needed. Thanks for the unforgettable experience!”
“Stopped by for dinner since it was just steps from my hotel, and I’m glad I did! Sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Charlie, who was super attentive and made the experience even better. I ordered the wedge salad, crab cake, and pork belly. The wedge salad and crab cake were my favorites — the crab cake had no filler and was full of flavor. I also learned they give free bread with meals, which I didn’t get to try this time but definitely plan to on my next visit. Portions are generous, so come hungry! Everything was a very large size, and I left feeling satisfied. Can’t wait to go back and try the bread pudding next time. Highly recommend if you’re in New Orleans and looking for a solid steakhouse experience with great service.”
“Our second time here and we love it! Alonna, our server, was the best! Red beans and rice with biscuit is mouthwatering! Fried shrimp was delicious! We’re taking gumbo and beignets with us.”

“Stop in to get takeout from one of the pop up restaurants that I follow on social media! I was very impressed with the beer garden. Grabbed some to-go beers and a pretzel 🥨. The staff were helpful and just frickin cool! Not to mention the beer garden atmosphere was warm and welcoming! Definitely worth the stop, and I look forward to going back with the family.”
“I drove AT NIGHT. WITH AN ASTIGMATISM. all the way from DA PARISH to THE CITY for this bread pudding. Took a wrong turn down a one-way like a true local menace, didn’t even put my dentures in, and would absolutely do it again because this bread pudding had me seeing God, my ancestors, and Louis Armstrong all at once. Soft. Sweet. Soaked just right. Illegal in at least three states. Now let’s talk about the REAL MVP: the waitress/bartender with the cute lipstick. Ma’am was serving looks, vibes, and hospitality like she was born behind that bar during Jazz Fest. Sweet as pralines, sharp as a Saints comeback, and made the whole place feel like your favorite cousin’s house—if your cousin knew how to pour a drink and flirt professionally. I am currently eating this bread pudding right next to the establishment like a raccoon with a treasure, specifically to keep my husband from getting a bite. He had 45 whole minutes to get out of bed, put on clothes, and drive me here before closing—and chose violence (sleep). That’s on him. I chose dessert. 10/10. Worth the drive, the risk, the one-way street, the bare gums, and the marital pettiness. New Orleans at its finest.”

“A delightful and popular institution among NOLA bakery gelaterias. Outstanding traditional Italian pastries; tortes, cannolis, eclairs and cake slices. Good assortment of gelato flavors. Also quite a variety of imported packaged Italian delicacies displayed for gifting and take home. There are a handful of small tables in front and more sit down tables just above/beyond the main floor. Parking is tight in front, but there's a variety of options nearby.”
“My family and I absolutely love this place. We go to the Elmwood location most of the time! The staff is always friendly and helpful! Our only issue is we never know what to choose from because it’s all so good! Thank you District Donuts for always keeping your standards high and food fresh!”
“had an awesome experience. Logan and Ashley was great. whatever your paying them double it”
“This place really left a lasting impression. From the hostess, our server, the bathrooms, food, price point, time we spent. Everything was on point. We had oysters, gumbo, bisque, redfish, and house salad. Everything was divine!!! Keep up the good work! Also loved that it was so very clean.”
“Best meal I had in New Orleans! Such an amazing menu. I had a really hard time choosing a meal! The chicken satay was awesome as was the squid ink seafood Udon! Love the Thai Mule as well!”
“Chophouse staff and the manager were amazing! They helped me pull of a surprise that will always be an unforgettable memory! I appreciate the staff and manager for making the night amazing.”
“One of the best dining experiences my wife and I ever had. It is a true culinary delight that awakens your taste buds. Braiden was an excellent server who takes pride in his work and it shows! Thank you for a wonderful evening.”
“Great food and great service! The owner is very helpful. We own a small dive bar in MS and we have used many of the ideas that Cooter Browns does! This is a stop for us when we are in town.”
“Visited NOLA for three nights and we found this gem! Amazing indian food! Namaste NOLA is the place would recommend for indian food if visiting next! Will definitely come back just for their food!”
“We absolutely love coming to this restaurant. When we are in new orleans, the food is fresh and hot and the drinks are wonderful. The staff was very help and attentive.”

“Plume is hands down, my favorite restaurant. Taste, presentation, texture, it’s all there and the kitchen is consistent.”
“The food is really delicious. This is a Chinese restaurant I frequent. They have a wide variety of dishes, and the service is excellent. Those who like this kind of food should definitely give it a try.”
“Recently went for lunch at MRB during our vacation in New Orleans. It was the best gumbo we had on our whole trip, and we had it at a few places! I also loved the fried green tomato sandwich. Don't let the fact that this is a food truck in the courtyard of a bar deceive you...food is delish!!”
“Amazing pasta dishes that tickle the taste buds. Portion size is perfect, service amazing with knowledgeable, kind servers. Pasta, elevated. ❤️”
“A classic New Orleans stop for a reason. Yes, it gets busy, but the line moves and the experience is worth it. The oysters were fresh and flavorful, and overall the food delivered on that classic New Orleans seafood experience. The energy inside is lively and fun, which adds to it. We particularly love the raw oysters and grilled oysters. The Fried fish, potato salad and even coleslaw we’re actually pretty good as well It’s definitely more on the touristy side, but sometimes that’s exactly what you want when you’re visiting — a staple that lives up to the hype.”
“The first thing you notice is the quirky decor & immediately feel at home. The second is the excellent customer service, southern hospitality at its finest. I ordered the crab cakes with poached eggs on top. I will never eat a crab cake anywhere BUT here. Their food was delectable and by far the BEST food I’ve had while in NOLA. Our server gave great free entertainment advice for us tourists and was highly attentive. All this to say, don’t come to NOLA & miss out on Elizabeth’s. They are a MUST experience.”
“The owner and employees were lovely. The sides were amazing and the meat was great too. They have an outdoor patio. Get the peanut butter pie! They make it all right there. Just go!”
“Highly recommend!! Food is delicious! Family Friendly, great outing”
“Amazing food. Shonz and Misty were a great duo of servers for myself and my wife. Highly recommended.”
“Picked the location because of the reviews...B B did NOT disappoint, tuna app, mushroom gnocchi, espresso creme brule....of an the crab hash side (need that for breakfast)
Solid restauraunt , staff is on point
Really enjoyed it”
“LOVED ALL OF IT! Great food, atmosphere, wait staff and Jacques himself! Go. Eat. Love it!”

“We just stayed at the Inn and it was beautiful! What I love the most are the staff. They’re very welcoming, helped us out a lot and made everything in our stay perfect! I didn’t quite catch their names but the bartender and the man that gave us breakfast Thank yall so much! We will definitely come back to stay again! Also the food and drinks are phenomenal!”

“Been to New Orleans over a dozen times and just found this gem. I was here for 5 nights and came back 3 times during my trip. Great staff and incredible authentic food. Get the Sampler, the carne asada and their tres leches cake!”
“One of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans was at Toups! We had a charcuterie board with their house made hogs head cheese, chicken liver mousse and foie gras accompanied by house pickles. Simply incredible!! The hogs head cheese was the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the chunkiness of it with nice pieces of tender pork! The crispy turkey necks! Oh my goodness… AMAZING! The braised lamb neck entree was exquisite with a generous portion and crispy spaetzle! Even leftover, it was great!! I also had their pork chop and applesauce cocktail which was creative and also delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great work Chef Isaac and team!”
“Food was delicious. There’s not one thing on the menu that I didn’t like best fried fish and grits ever the atmosphere is very tight and very loud parking on a busy day is out of the question but the food is good.”
“What an enchanting experience offering for a Sunday brunch. The decor-amazing. The menu-creative and flavorful.”
“We had the best time last Thursday night. Saffron was vibey, drinks were good and strong, the menu was unique, food was amazing, and service was top notch. We can’t wait to go back!”
“So amazing!! Elevated twists on the dishes!! Great atmosphere, and an incredible experience!! Never disappoints!!”
“Slightly delayed review but who cares. While I no longer live in New Orleans, this is one of my favorite places I’d been to. I still dream of my dinner from NYE 2022 🤤 I believe it was a rabbit mole, which was absolutely 🔥 and the huitlacoche quesadilla. The mole is forever imprinted on my soul!”
“Wow!!! The best food I have had in a long time. Every thing was absolutely delicious. Service was amazing. Highly suggest everyone should experience this place.”
“Fantastic Cuban food made fresh. Small menu, but it’s perfect, you don’t need more because what they have is yummy.”
“Denied access to a legally allowed service dog without any interest in making accommodation. The dog tucked immediately under the table where she is supposed to be and the server (maybe owner) came over immediately asking for paperwork, which isn't required in the United States. Any paperwork provided is typically bought off the internet. Don't waste your time or money here. Sharing their intolerance on every platform. Also just found out that the person who told us we couldn't eat there laughed and tried to joke with the rest of our party and offer free drinks after the fact like that was going to fix splitting our dinner party.”
“Here for Mardi Gras, staff is phenomenal. True southern hospitality! & We love Sabrina the bartender!”
“Best breakfast my wife and I have had in a restaurant ever! There Bennie’s are awesome. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu! We sat at the bar and the bartender was great!”
“This place is loaded with incredible food options that are healthy while still feel flavorful, fun, and freaking delicious. Cannot recommend the PB&J smoothie and the Southwest bowl enough!!”
“Un des meilleurs sandwich que j'ai mangé dans ma vie. Je recommande La "hot muffelatta". Un vrai délice !”
“Excellent, personable service, best tasting shrimp po boy that I have ever tasted! I wish they were located in our area!!”
“My favorite New Orleans restaurant. The food is always fresh, flavorful and delicious. Frank keeps the menu seasonal and world with what's fresh in the market. New Orleans is home to many fine dining restaurants but none dinner than Brigtsen's. it's friendly, distinguished, welcoming to all. I'm not a fancy person and I've never felt out of place here. You won't find a better place to dine.”
“Margot's is a delight every time. Their menu is small and excellent. The pizzas are perfect brick oven pies. And their cocktails are a hidden gem. I keep coming back to their Rhubarb Old fashioned, and the various outstanding negroni variations. The people are amazing as well -- friendly, relaxed, and inviting. As always, I can't wait for my next visit.”
“Cool 80's vibe. Had a really nice dinner. Fab was our waitress. She looked like a Solid Gold dancer and was amazing. Her friendly personality, attentiveness added to a fun evening. Carlos took great care of us at the bar when we arrived. I definitely recommend.”
“Attended our company holiday party at Arnaud’s and was blown away by the staff and even more so by the food. Everything and I mean everything was top shelf!!! 5stars plus all around”
“Consistently delicious!! We make sure to always bring out of town guests here too!! It’s a definite New Orleans must eat!!! Love this place!”
“Food ans service are excellent, very nice curry and the noodles are Thai flavor.”
“Had a solo dinner here tonight and received fantastic food and service. The beef fat griddled waygu and potato pave were sensational - pair it with the corn babies for an over the top experience. The bar was equally wonderful; the Autumn Oracle was especially noteworthy. Service was so loving and friendly; I lingered far longer than necessary just to savor and converse. If the persimmon ice cream is available, GET IT. PS — I see racists and homophobes have review-bombed these folks, so bring your queer dollars and support the family as they serve up amazing eats and inclusivity.”
“The quality of the food and service is simply exceptional.”
“We are frequent diners at Miss Shirley’s. The food is always delicious and the service is always impeccable friendly. Miss Shirley’s staff makes you feel like family.”
“Meril, Meril how I love you This is one of our favorite spots to go for date night or just meeting some friends for dinner and delicious cocktails. Service is always top-notch. We usually have a main waiter and then someone assisting with the table. But don't take that as a stuffy, uppity place to be, it's very casual and nice to have servers taking care of the table all throughout the meals. Apps: we decided to make a meal out of appetizers, and we kind of went overboard. Definitely small plates but big enough to share with leftovers if you do it right. We decided to order appetizers and make that our meal. We chose the Bacon Braised Collard Greens from the daily specials. We also chose Smoked Fish Dip, Crispy Cod Sliders, Deviled Eggs, Korean Fried Chicken Wings and Pad Thai Cauliflower For cocktails we started with English Turn(grapefruit but not sour), Tchoup(cucumber deliciousness) and Albariño(smooth white wine). All so good! It was also our 11 year anniversary and they surprised us with some cotton candy and a sparkler! Perfection!”

“I ordered the Jerk burger and OMG, the size was incredidle and the meat was tender and juicy with all the condiments. This was not your typical burger.Food was prepared fresh and hot. Waffle fries were awesome and filling. The punch drink was really good I could not eat all of the food in one sitting. Lunch for the next day. I will come back again. Great experience.!!”
“I'd like to know why y'all not making that delicious bread pudding anymore! I'm thoroughly disgusted. That is the best tasting bread pudding in the city and she refuses to make it again. Please bring that item back. It was the best in the city! Thanks .I'm not giving 5 stars until y'all bring that gread pudding back.”
“My brother loves what I call "Bougie" restaurants so when he made a reservation for six of us this past Saturday (French Quarter Festival weekend), I was sure the cuisine would be a hard no for me as I usually stick to the basics. However, I am so glad I was wrong! Walking up to restaurant does not prepare you for the cool nautical vibe you experience upon entry. It's not what I call "themey" but rather low key with subtle hints directed at the name and menu. The food was inventive, visually appealing and bursting with intentional flavors. We ordered various appetizers including the Charbroiled Mussels, Taramasalata, Ishmael Fries, Miso Blue Crab Salad, Eggplant Doughnuts as well as Bread Service (do not pass it up). Our entrees included Swordfish Schnitzel, Lobster Roll and several Squid Ink Pastas. We were stuffed but we weren't about to pass up the lemon cheesecake dessert. To say that the lemons looked too real to eat is an understatement, but we overcame and devoured all six. The whole experience was "Chef's Kiss" for all six of our party. We will be back as some of us live in NOLA and some visit often. Just an FYI, we were unaware that seating in the bar area meant literally sitting at the bar so make sure you request a table when making reservations.”
“IMHO, in my humble opinion, this is the best bakery in new orleans and maybe in the country - no one has ever baked better churros - add tres leches - and they have my own kinsfolk beat with their italian lemon cream - and they give brennan’s a run with their bananas foster cheese cake. and their beignets are easily better than cafe du monde and have the nod over my longstanding go-to cafe beignet. wow - off the charts - and grazie mille!”
“I'm 50+ years old. Have been to countless restaurants in the US and mexico (Cancun 12 times) and the meal I had tonight was the best I've ever had. The cocktails were great. The service was great. Didn't wait long because somehow we were the only 2 people in the place. It was a Tuesday, and we did have early reservations. (4:30) Not complaining cuz I was able to lie to the wife and tell her I booked the entire restaurant for her. (Yes, she knew I was joking) Now, the food was amazing. I already knew what I was ordering but saw the menu of small plates that wasn't on the menu online and decided to try those after eating a couple of the appetizers. Enjoyed every single thing I tried and after the wife tossed in the towel I still went for the Cantonese fried rice. I thought I was done eating until I was told what was in the dessert. Well worth the stomach cramps I now have as I write this review. Happily people start arriving as we were leaving. I strongly suggest to anyone who spent the time to read all my gibberish and go to this restaurant.........................FYI, this is the first time I've ever felt like I needed to write a review.”

“We always try to go here when we are in New Orleans. Last weekend we took my niece for her first visit and she left her purse that was filled with all of her makeup. She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! That is great customer service.”
“Last day in NOLA we were blessed with an incredible meal featuring succulent hazelnut crusted duck, savory squash and a heavenly Lemon Tart that left us in awe. It was perfectly topped off with a tour of the entire building including the kitchen by the amazing Manager David Weick. What a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you David!”
“my daughter and I ate at the Oceana Grill tonight and it was absolutely fantastic we had the most amazing waiter he was awesome very tall very handsome so amazing we said in the courtyard and my Margaritas were fantastic my meal was amazing the conversation was epic”
“If there were a gold standard for hospitality, it would be JC, our waiter at Mr. B’s Bistro. We brought a group of dear friends along this time—and JC made each of us feel genuinely part of the Mr. B’s family. We’ve been dining here since 1979, and somehow JC has only grown even more remarkable with time. The food, of course, is exquisite. We started with spring rolls and crabcakes, and, naturally, the freshly baked warm French bread with butter. Truffle fries for the table were a decadent prelude to the main event. Several of us savored the filet—perfect with garlic rounds and sautéed spinach. The snapper, as always, was sublime. The gumbo and barbecue shrimp are quintessential New Orleans specialties—so iconic that I even try my hand at the shrimp at home using the recipe from the Mr. B’s Bistro cookbook. Desserts were equally delightful: the bread pudding, salted caramel chocolate cake, and, of course, the classic profiteroles. Cocktails were spot on, and the red wine we chose from their extensive list paired beautifully with the meal. Nestled on Royal Street in the heart of the French Quarter, Mr. B’s Bistro is a treasure, and JC is its beating heart. Fifty years in, and we still can’t imagine going anywhere else. Dining here is less a meal than a tradition—and like a fine red wine—or even their unforgettable barbecue shrimp—JC only gets better with time.”
“Just wanted to say thanks David. We had a blast at your place. We caught the football 4th quarter, and had great cocktails. The staff member Anna was very friendly and did a A+ job shucking 3 dozen oysters that were perfectly done… clean and left the liquor in them. I was so pleased I tipped her $30 separate from the tip on the check / server. I just wished we lived there so we could return frequently. BIG Thank you for your hospitality. It was a highlight of our very awesome trip to NOLA.”
“My sister and niece came and visit from Germany. We booked the VIP Balcony for Mardi Gras. Food and drinks included. We had an amazing experience. Food was amazing, the staff were wonderful and the owner was top notch. I truly can recommend to book the VIP Balcony for Mardi Gras with Daisy Dukes Restaurant.”
“My wife myself and 2 cousins visited New Orleans during french quarterfest, we happened upon the restaurant and were able to sit within the courtyard beautiful setting .Food was outstanding. We had the creole pasta, firecrackers, shrimp. We also had a dish named"taste of new orleans". During our visit, we were fortunate enough to have a young man as our waiter. His name was Dante. I believe it may actually have been his first night working. A very nice, pleasant young man who worked really hard to make sure that our night was perfect. I must say it was so good. We went back and asked for him by name, to make sure that as long as he is Here and we visit the festival, We're going to request him. Such a great attitude, very refreshing!”
“My bestie and I visited Monday during Essence Fest Weekend and had the best server Centorrey. She was very attentive and honest from the time we sat down til the time we departed. Her customer service was A+++ Centorrey made coming to this restaurant a joy that I had to see her manager personally and verbally tell him what an amazing job she did. Thank you so much Centorrey and Hadji (Manager) for a great experience. The food and drinks were on point as well just removed those little airplane fans because that do nothing for that NOLA heat. I'll see you guys on my next visit”
“We arrived early for our reservation and they were kind enough to accommodate us and seat us early. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The food and drinks were delicious! I would highly recommend everything but especially the beat salad, Brussels and bread pudding. Everything was delicious. Can't recommend it enough :)”

“Went here for my birthday dinner and it was exceptional. Romantic and cozy atmosphere with decor that transports you to Venezuela. The owner helped us order the best flank steak and branzino I've ever had. Definitely try the homemade hot sauce. Can't wait to go again!”
“We are from New Zealand and i saw this place when walking near our Bed and Breakfast. Went for dinner and really enjoyed the meal. Was lovely sitting outside in the evening and service was great. Both my husband and I loved our meals and great drink selection. Highly recommend.”
“My friends and I stopped at Sweet Saint today and were served by Kenny. He shared about the locally sourced ingredients and how his ice cream is made on-site. We loved our experience with Kenny and we LOVEDD our ice cream. I would recommend Sweet Saint to anyone and everyone!!”
“Arguably the best bakery in the city. Its location, offerings, and the story behind their culinary chef make it absolutely worth visiting.
Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made, with a great mix of pastries and savory options that showcase real craftsmanship. It’s the kind of place where the quality stands out immediately.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the experience feels authentic from start to finish.
Overall, a must-visit bakery in New Orleans—simple, memorable, and incredibly well done. Go early to avoid lines and them selling out!”
“Delicious and fresh fish flown in from Japan. Chef Yuwa and his team have created a delicious culinary experience Uptown! 10/10”
“Christy and Mike really run a great and welcoming establishment. Felt at home from the first beverage through the fish chowder and manchego mushroom toast (both were phenomenal). Be sure to ask the master mixologist Annalee to mix you up a tasty beverage to start your day, or finish your dining experience. Great food and great people. A must visit when in New Orleans.”
“One of the best meals I've had in New Orleans (and I live here). Two of us had a couple of cocktails, as well as two appetizers and two mains. The service was terrific. The bread appetizer and the strawberry & beet salad appetizer as well as the duck confit main course were all excellent. The gumbo main course was salty -- even for gumbo -- and the sausage seemed overcooked and rather dry. The cocktails were made very well as well. The prices were actually pretty reasonable for the ambiance and the quality.”
