“This was my first time in this area, so I wanted to pick a restaurant that truly reflects something I enjoy; while I traverse through this new landscape. My standards were high, but I can assure you that this restaurant did not fail by any regards. The broth has that special “oomph”, and the amount of certain cuts they give you was plentiful. The only critiques that I have is they were very stingy with the meatballs. Now I love my meatballs so I was a bit disappointed. Also, a dollar for chili oil I think is a bit steep. However, overall, when I tell you, this food is good. When I had my first bite, a smile came to my face instantly because it is so delicious. Please give this place a try!“

“I've been going to the Saint Roch market for almost 6 months. I love Mediterranean food and wanted to try this restaurant, but I was fiercely loyal to another one across town. When that one closed last month, I couldn't wait to come over here. My only disappointment is that I didn't visit this restaurant sooner because it is amazing. You can't have a name like DOLMA without having incredible dolmas. These were absolutely incredible! Easily the best I've had and I've been to anywhere between 60 and 80 Mediterranean restaurants across the country. My favorite thing to get is the veggie sampler. I have yet to have anything bad from this restaurant. In fact, I will be going back for lunch in a few days. Cannot recommend them enough. One of my favorite places in New Orleans along with pretty much every other restaurant at the market.“

“Good rolled sandwiches. Very hearty and nutritious. Hard to beat their speed and quality in the CBD area, especially for the price. Plenty of ingredient options from the “roll your own” menu. The ladies here are very sweet, accommodating, and make an effort to learn their customers.“

“We ordered online and our order was over 43.00. According to the website when you have an order for over 35.00 you get free fried dumplings. We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that. When I called to mention this the person I spoke to was a little combative about it saying if it’s not on the ticket they won’t make it. Then you need to fix the problem bruh.“

“This place is nestled in the heart of the black community. They are the only place opened late in the area. The service was very rude, the menu items that they offer are not actuallY reflected on the menu. There are no prices on the menu. The place smelled like roach spray. However, I went back to this restaurant with a friend about a month ago and things were much better. The food is good there and the service was much friendlier now. In my view, they have upped their game overall. I have changed my mind about this restaurant.“

“Thanks China Wall! You hardly ever fail me! Again I wasnt in the mood for cooking so I called in an order. The gen tso combo was on time fresh and delicious. This location is mostly carry out so the dining area is basic and seem to be incomplete.“
