“This place is definitely improved. If you stayed away from it because you didn't like the old Chinese Tea Garden, give them another chance. They have an all you can eat menu at 25.99! You can't beat that. Also they have the best sushi in this part of town.“

“I have to order the greatest crunchy wings, which are always hot and fresh, whenever I visit NOLA. I once had a cordial encounter with one of the owners and asked him how they managed to make the chicken so crunchy. He claimed that the sort of flour and grease—without giving any brand names—are what makes anything delicious.“

“My favorite cheap Chinese take out spot in Nola. Sketchy parking lot, full of “local flavor”! Take your food and run away! I always order before I pick up, get in and get out! It’s a legit American version Chinese food place. Not cuisine, but still very good. I get Kung Pao chicken a lot and I am always happy with the what they serve up.
They always have the food ready when I arrive. If you’re looking for a new drug dealer, out front is a great spot to find a hook up.
I feel a little bad for the people working here because they’re fairly pleasant considering how much street hassle they probably have to deal with everyday.
Good place to go if you’re bored and want to appreciate how chill your life is!“

“Drove through Louisiana and randomly picked this place to eat. Always wary about Chinese cuisine, but everything we ordered was amazing. I have been to some good Chinese restaurants but this place was exceptional and is one of my top picks now! Will definitely get again when we drive back through! Thanks so much!!“

“Everything you'd expect from a solid Chinese restaurant in New Orleans. They have all the classics and favorites, the sauces are very consistent and the service is always nice. They offer tofu dishes and let me change the sauce for variety. Delivery fee is very affordable, always arrives promptly, and they're good about following delivery instructions. I've never been disappointed, it's my go-to spot in mid city. The general tso and orange sauce is on point!
Vegetarian options: Consistently good fried tofu. I get the general tso tofu and I'm happy every time.
Dietary restrictions: Enough vegetarian and pescetarian options to get dinner for the entire group.
Parking: There are very limited parking spots on the street, some people park in the smoothie king lot but it gets really congested with people who don't know how to park.
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to get inside, just an incline. There's a narrow hallway up to the counter.“

“This family owned restaurant just reopened their inside dining (summer 2024) after being take out/catering only for several years. We have been regulars since we moved here 3 years ago. The pho is our favorite- so flavorful! I also love the vermicelli noodle bowls and the hubs likes the orange chicken and general tso. This is our GO TO for tasty, affordable Asian food! And the portions are HUGE! I’ll try to add pics on a future visit, usually too hungry to remember!
Parking: This is a historic building in the French Quarter. It is typically difficult to find parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: This is a historic building in the French Quarter. Not wheel chair friendly unfortunately.“

“Went on a Friday night (8-30-24) 6pm. Lots of choices and my wife loved the boiled crabs. I really liked the fried whole shrimp and they were big.
They were constantly replenishing the options with freshly cooked food. The staff were nice. The place was clean as were the restrooms. $40 for two adults I feel was a great value. I liked the sushi too.“

“**Excellent Takeout!**
I recently ordered from Dragon King and was thoroughly impressed. The online ordering was easy, and my food arrived quickly and hot. The General Tso's Chicken was perfectly crispy with a great balance of sweet and spicy, and the Kung Pao Shrimp was fresh and flavorful. The fried rice was fluffy, and the vegetable spring rolls were crispy and tasty.
The high-quality ingredients and attention to detail were evident in every bite. The complimentary fortune cookies and the friendly note added a nice personal touch. Overall, Dragon King provided an outstanding takeout experience. Highly recommend!“

“This place is nestled in the heart of the black community. They are the only place opened late in the area. The service was very rude, the menu items that they offer are not actuallY reflected on the menu. There are no prices on the menu. The place smelled like roach spray. However, I went back to this restaurant with a friend about a month ago and things were much better. The food is good there and the service was much friendlier now. In my view, they have upped their game overall. I have changed my mind about this restaurant.“

“Food is always hot and fresh. The portion sizes are good. My only complaints are the egg rolls need some more meat in them, and they can be mire patient when taking phone orders.

“I definitely enjoy coming here simply because it’s one of the better Chinese restaurants here in the city. However the customer service could be a bit more patient when customers have or ask questions about certain ingredients in their entrees…. If you don’t ask then how will one ever know???“

“I ordered through Uber eats the order was correct, but the fried rice was so hot spicy wise we could not eat it. I’ve never experienced fried rice like this again would not order it again on the other hand the barbecued shrimp and the wontons were excellent. Yes, I will use them again, but I won’t order the rice“

“While waiting for my food, someone (a local I assume) walked in and said "Hey Mama" to the owner – that's when I knew I was in good hands. Had the gumbo, it was delicious, and a generous portion size. Everything else looked incredible too. Absolutely recommend this one if you're in the neighbourhood.“

“I did Door Dash for me and my friends at our weekend vacation home with Saint Manchu. The chicken wings were absolutely the best. The shrimp fried rice was different but good. Door Dash delivery was fast and food stayed hot. I will be going back for sure!“

“If you’re looking for a good place to eat during this awful heat outside, GO HERE. This place was amazing. It had amazing air conditioning inside, enough seats for every person that came in to eat, and the food was amazing. The lady was very kind and the food price was amazing for how good the food is. I got the sweet and sour chicken, egg roll, and noodles and they were DELICIOUS. That whole meal, including a drink, was $11. That’s an amazing price considering now a days most good restaurants charge $20-$30 a person. They had many other menu options as well. The ones I saw were spicy chicken, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour shrimp, rice, and a lot more.I’m definitely glad I picked this place for dinner and I hope whenever I travel to New Orleans again in the future that I get to go here again.“

“The food was really good. It was hot and stayed that way up till the time we made it back to our hotel. I would recommend the food any day. But on the other hand, the guy taken our order seemed like he had a bad disposition. I even asked him if he was having a bad day because even though we were the only two in the restaurant at the time he seemed to hope we hurry and order and go. The food was 1000 times better than his attitude.“
