“Kind of a hole in the wall spot, but the food was good. I had the sweet n sour chicken. It was the battered fried chicken nuggets with the orange colored sauce, not the fried chicken thighs cut into pieces with the red sauce that I prefer. My wife had the schezsuan beef...I wanted that after tasting hers?.Overall, we enjoyed the food, and there was easily enough on the plate for 3 meals...and I can eat a lot!“
“I must admit, I was extremely skeptical of this place when I first entered as a food delivery driver. Upon entering the delicious smell of Chinese food hit my nose and I was hooked. I knew I had to try it. Well tonight was the night and IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! They have the best egg rolls I've ever had. Get the shrimp egg roll! They are all handmade and the quality of the food and service is absolutely stellar.“
“I've been eating here since I was a kid. It is the best Chinese food I've ever had. I always get the combination Lo-mein (no veggies, extra sauce, spicy). It reminds me of being a kid and eating with my family. The family that's owns the restaurant are great and always helpful and they treat regulars like there own family and that is all u can ask for from a great local restaurant. I live on the north shore now but will literally drive an hour just to visit and enjoy the taste of my childhood.“
“Pretty good. Fresh taste not nearly as salty as others. Egg roll is homemade loaded with shrimp and pork. Purchased My "standard" curry chicken, extra hot. As a chilly head I rate it mild. Portion size is huge IMO. The only negative thing was the egg roll was packed inside the package and not separate. When the takeout box leaned the sauce for the main dish soaked the egg roll. But the egg roll was...still good.. just mushy on the outside.“
“This place has the best Pho and spring rolls I've had down south so far. I'm originally from Los Angeles so my standards are kind of high. My husband had Mandarin Chicken he said it was all right but he compares everything to China Doll. The staff was polite and attentive. You should definitely go check it out it would be worth the money and time it looks like they have karaoke too. I will be going back again.“
“I grew up in NYC loving the food in Chinatown, so when a local friend suggested we have lunch at Hong Minh in nearby Harvey, I thought "oh no, suburban Chinese food... blah." I quickly shed my preconceptions once food started arriving at our barebones table in a plain-Jane dining room in this nondescript strip mall. Dang! This is easily up there with the best Chinese food you'll find anywhere in the country. Highlights include BBQ pork, roasted duck, salt & pepper string beans and Singapore mei fun. I asked one of the owners who was taking a break from hacking up roast ducks what part of China they were from and he said "Hong Kong and Taiwan, NOT China." Take that, China and preconceptions!“
