“I really like the food at PhoBang. The brisket Pho is my favourite and the fried egg rolls are very crispy and great. The egg rolls come four to an order. They did just start adding 3% charge for credit card payment. Several places have started doing this unfortunately.“

“Ate here for the first time today. And I must say, their pho is amazing. I had shrimp pho and their broth is the best I’ve had. Not too much cinnamon or anise flavor. Which a lot of places do. My daughter had the pork chop platter and it was also very good. Atmosphere is great, very clean environment and our waitress with the nose ring was very fun and polite. Definitely recommend this place.“

“Good food at a good price. Had the char grilled pork vermicelli dish with egg rolls added to it. The staff is very patient with customers, especially those who are new to their menu. Huge seating area, though when a rush isn't going on, it does feel empty and quiet. Despite the tv going on in the background“

The atmosphere was good. We were greeted by everyone with friendly smiles, and the prices are reasonable.“

“10/4/24. Cozy little place. Not open like typical Asian restaurants. Hubby ordered #L13 Shrimp Hot Garlic sauce and one Vietnamese coffee. I ordered #N11 Grill over pressed Vermicelli with Nem. Hubby said his dish is alright, just not as good as other places he had before. Mine came out in a humongous serving platter with rice paper to make wraps that is enough for 2. However, they gave me grilled pork instead of grilled nem. Instead of leaving the plate and just grilling me some nem, they took the platter back and said it would be awhile for the grilled nem. Anyway, the platter came out not too long after, and it was delish. I could only eat half and had to take the other haft home. It was raining heavily the whole day so I guess that's why there weren't many people during lunch. Oh, I do not recommend Vietnamese coffee. It tasted too much like powdery/instant coffee with sweetenter milk, unlike typical coffee that is prepared with a coffee fin over a cup of condensed milk and a separate glass of ice. Service could be better as the waiter never checked on us even once if we needed anything. Had to flag him down a few times. Price wise is reasonable for our dishes. We will be back to try other dishes.“

“Ba Chi has the best Vietnamese food in New Orleans at incredibly reasonable prices. The Bao tacos (bacos) are innovative and delicious. The pho broth is the best rice had outside of Vietnam. The menu is huge and has something for everyone.“

“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mike and his family while visiting New Orleans back in June 2017. This was not a planned visit to their restaurant, but one that will long stay with us. Great Food, Great Experience -Do Not Miss the Chance to add this place to your ‘Bucket-List’. The Shirmp and Grits was off the hook good.“

“I had a well done beef and sausage pho here before a show at the Saenger Theater. Spacious, well lit, and very clean space. The staff are very helpful and efficient. The pho and toppings were so fresh. Bathroom was super clean. Always a great sign of pride in cleanliness by staff and management.“

“This is a wonderfully comfortable, friendly Vietnamese restaurant in the Lower Garden. It also happens to have what I think is the absolute best pho ga in town. I have never had better chicken broth. The portions on everything are very generous as well. We are always welcomed warmly and they even know our "regular" order. I almost always get the pho ga, and my husband goes for the beef vermicelli bowl with a side of nem, though he has also had the beef pho. The fresh shrimp spring rolls are really delicious as well. Can't say enough good things about this lovely little spot.“

“IMO best Banh Mi on the westbank. They make fresh baguette style bread for their banh mis and they are delicious. I mostly order the combination but sometimes the BBQ pork. The pate on the combination is delightful and BBQ pork is perfect and does not contain gristle. We go at least once per week.“

“My wife had pho and I had cubed beef on the servers recommendation. It was awesome! It’s kind of unassuming and undersold but we really enjoyed it.“

“Great pho soup and great service.**UPDATE** The service is still great, however, the restaurant now uses the lowest USDA grade beef in its products. The sliced brisket was hard and had an unpleasant tallow taste that affected my appetite. The prices increased and the quality of food decreased. I was disappointed and now I will exclusively patronize the Manhattan location. ??“

“Truthfully within top 5 tofus in New Orleans—and that’s something I’m very picky about. Bahn mis are stuffed to perfection and never dry. I order at least once a month and look forward to going in person. Can’t wait to dine again.
P.S.Just finished my tofu bahn mi and I’m hesitant to eat my next dish bc I won’t want the taste to leave my mouth!“

“I enjoyed my visit to the Elizabeth Street Cafe New Orleans. It seems to be as much a bakery as a Vietnamese Restaurant. The inside area is small, but very nicely organized. The food items definitely have a Vietnamese flair but the pastry selection is also impressive. There is an outdoor seating area available, the food is good and the service is excellent.
Vegetarian options: Lots of non-meat items
Dietary restrictions: Ask before ordering
Parking: Parking lot on site
Kid-friendliness: Children welcome
Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible with assistance“

“my girlfriend and i always order the chicken Pho [we order the same thing every week, unfortunately dong have pics of it becasue i just have to stuff my face] but yesterday i went pick up our food and before picking up i called. i placed my order and it was funny because she called me marie instead of my govn’t name. when i got there, the owner and i laughed because of the mixed names. got on the subject of her liking my tattoo and she started telling me how her tattoo on her back is for her son Michael. my heart shattered and i honestly had tears in my eyes because the way she spoke so beautiful about how this was his dream and she wanted to do this for him was truly beautiful. we got on another subject of why i LOVE this restaurant so much!! yall, they make this broth sun up to sun down so it’s fresh for you! i can have dreams about this pho because of how yummy it is!! everyone needs to go try it! the people who work there are very sweet! great atmosphere!“
“Oct. 4, 2024. I'm a Vietnamese seasoned home cook who typically doesn't eat food that I can cook so much better at home. This is just a bar at the food court inside Caesar's casino. They open only on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 7pm - 1am. They serve just 4 dishes that you can take 2 go or eat there. Pho ($16), BBH ($16), banh mi cha lua & pate($10), and banh mi thit nuong ($13.) Good prices considered they are inside the casino.
Pho & BBH are served in a plastic bowl & a good heaping of bean sprout & basil (must have for pho & BBH.) This is forgivable because the taste is on point & is so much better than other Vietnamese restaurants around town. Banh mi is really good with nice pate paste. We both enjoyed our foods very much. Wished they would open earlier to serve lunch & dinner.“

“Best Vietnamese food in Metairie area! Simple, fresh, and great! I’ve been coming here for the last 8-9 years! Always find the same great food, great jasmine tea! The only thing I hate is their door, we can never get “Pull and Push” thing right! ? You should try their soft buns and their Vermicelli’s! It’s the best in town!“

“Great experience as usual. The Pho soups never disappoints, however my husband was not a fan of the Birds Nest dish. Completely new flavors for both of us, he says it tasted like uncooked maruchan with taste meat variety and sauce. Was not my favorite, but I liked it :)
Parking: The parking area is for all the business in the plaza, in full days the parking area may be somewhat full because of it.“

“This place is really cute, it’s kind of small, but I highly recommend it. We had the pork belly, steam buns and chicken steam buns, as well as and shrimp and avocado spring rolls. We also had the crab wontons. We ended up not ordering anymore because it was so much food, but I highly recommend it. My husband loved that bread sauce, that was in a cup on the table. Service was impeccable. They were very attentive to our needs.“

“So I thought I wanted a PoBoy… this is my second time in New Orleans and felt obligated to get the local sandwich staple. However this little HOLE IN THE WALL spot came highly recommended. When I walked in I was overwhelmed and the cashier helped me pick the perfect order. I decided to pivot and do a Banh Mi, and I got the Bugolgi Banh mi and it was incredible! Let’s face it a banh mi and a PoBoy are essentially the same thing. Let’s start with the spring rolls, paired with a nice peanut sauce. The sandwich itself was so flavorful and just the right amount of food. It’s pretty much outside seating only if you want to eat there so just know that going in.“
“With so many great restaurants along Frenchman St, it's perfect to have a Deli to located right in the heart of it. They stay open late and have wonderful sandwiches in the back which you order at the register. I had the shrimp po-boy and it was perfect. A great selection of other convenience store needs as well as a great selection of beer.“

“Loved their po-boys. They got a tiny ghetto white girl (I mean that in a good way) over there who was cool as all to be damned when I had to ask her what's all in my sandwich because I've never had Vietnamese/Cajun hybrid food. Think her name was Theresa.Anyway, whenever I'm in the area this is my go too place.“
