“The banhmi and pho here are delicious. Service is friendly and fast. The chia seed coconut drink it's refreshing and just what I needed from the heat outside. Prices are reasonable and quantity is good. Highly recommend this place for anyone who likes Vietnamese food.“
“Super yummy i had the beef and shrimp spring rolls the banh mi sandwich and vermicelli bowl with lemongrass chicken. Wish I would have taken a pic but was so hungry we didn't lol. The area is a lil sketchy but def worth it and it's clean would definitely go again!“
“I ALWAYS LOVE coming to Mint. They are very professional, yet personable and super friendly.Frances is one of the GREATEST Dental Assistants and the FRONT office PERFECT!!! Not to mention you get free teeth whitening as a nee patient..oh and did I mention seat massager and warmer.. ? ? Thank ladies and Gent at Mint New Orleans on Freret!!!“
“We had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mike and his family while visiting New Orleans back in June 2017. This was not a planned visit to their restaurant, but one that will long stay with us. Great Food, Great Experience -Do Not Miss the Chance to add this place to your ‘Bucket-List’. The Shirmp and Grits was off the hook good.“
“Delicious food and great service in a cute small space. They have all the Vietnamese classics from pho to bun to bahn-mi, but done in a stylish and high quality manner. The bun (vermicelli noodle bowl) was fabulous. Be aware that their Vietnamese iced coffee is good, but very sweet and they prepare it as a pre-mix and have no plain coffee to add/adjust.“
“Been patronizing Magasin since their beginning. I’ve had some absolute incredible Vietnamese meals with them, and I’ve had some that were downright awful. What they are serving out of their new location is as good as it has ever been! I hope they keep it up and don’t let the quality slip again.“
“This was the first time I have eaten food from Eat-well. My friend picked up some tofu rolls which I had never had before and they were absolutely delicious! It is a soft pancake texture filled with all sorts of goodies including grilled tofu, carrots, and cilantro.“
“Everything is great! When I go it’s so hard to decide what to get it’s that good! Cannot go wrong with anything you order!! It’s definitely a must try! great customer service, great vibe,& Amazing people!! Always a great experience when i visit!“
“Their banh cuon thit nuong (steamed rice rolls with grilled pork) is my favorite and the only item that I normally order from here. BUT the person who makes it does not work everyday so you have to ask if they are making it before you make the trip.“
“They do a good job of having what you need and I use them when I don't want to get in the car or the other stores are closed. Sure, you pay convenience-store prices! You're paying for the convenience and they're paying Frenchmen Street rent. But it's well organized and what you need is likely there!“
“This place is unreal. I have never had a disappointing meal here. The spicy beef pho and the beef stew are the best meals I’ve ever had. Come here on a nice chilly day eat a bowl of pho and hit the couch after. This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the city. After today I was just like I have to write a review. This stuff is gas. Pressure. 10/10 anyday anytime. No photo because I absolutely demolished it.“
“This place is too much culinary fun to miss! How could you not want to try well made food that is a creative fusion of Vietnamese, Cajun, some Thai and even Indian elements? We had the coconut queso which was very OMG, the fried wings Nuac Mam sauce (juicy, crispy, intense with the sour/salty/sweet - I'd get them again but try the Vindaloo style next time out of curiosity), the chicken pho (wonderful!), and the daily special pork pho which has something like 7 different kinds of pork including belly, bacon, roasted, etc.My only regret was getting the pork pho, it was just too intense for me where I felt unwell eating it even though it was beautifully made. Too hardcore lardcore for me! I felt like it was more a dish made to satisfy a dare, but I bet there are plenty of folk out there ready to throw down a 7 different pork pho - and to you, I say I dare you to get it here!We drove out from out hotel in the Central Business District, and while this restaurant is in a quiet strip mall by a US military recruiting center, the neighborhood it is in is very cute. Full of charming small historic house getting spruced up by young adults, very hip. It was a neighborhood full of the right clientele to appreciate a vivid and offbeat place like this.“
“The waitress was amazing and her service was very sincere. We definitely enjoyed the food and very thankful the waitress could charge our phones. The coke fountain drink was terrible but the waitress allowed us to change it to root beer which was better but not the best. The parking was super weird and for new comers it’s quit confusing. Would recommend posting signs for the establishment so customers can know which areas are designated for dining.“
“I stopped here on the way home from New Orleans, only 2 miles off I-10, so not really out of the way. We have a long drive, so I selected a steamed char sui bun, Pate Chaud, meat pie, Crawfish pie, coconut macaroons, mochi, and a pineapple bar. Omg, the Crawfish pie! It had so much filling, Crawfish, bamboo shoots, scallions, and seasonings I'm not sure of, but it was very spicy and delicious! I'm trying to find a recipe for it in my Vietnamese cooking group, because Google turned up nothing. The Pate Chaud was delicious too, but not as much filling as I wanted. The coconut macaroons were amazing, and surprisingly made without sweetened condensed milk, but you would never know that except for the ingredient list. The pineapple bar was not too sweet, as it looked, perfect for me. The mochi were delicious, with the all familiar chew. Have two more pies to sample, but I have no doubt they will be delicious too!“
