“My husband and I visited Levee twice on our recent three-day trip to NOLA, and we would have gone again had we stayed longer! We enjoyed a ham and Swiss croissant, a breakfast sammy, various fruit danish, a morning roll with cinnamon and icing and a jambon et buerre with cornichon. Every…single…item was fantastic: the pastry was beautifully laminated; the fruits were perfect balances of sweet and tart; the meats were flavorful; the cinnamon was present but not overwhelming; and that baguette sandwich was possibly one of the best things either of us had ever eaten from a bakery. To top it off, the lovely person who was taking orders and working the POS system was just as polite and pleasant as one could ever expect. (Embarrassingly, I cannot remember their name.) I simply cannot recommend this lovely bakery enough!“

“I ordered a cake from Bittersweet just from a google search. I live in Houston and I was coming to New Orleans for the first time to celebrate my 35th Birthday and this cake shop another shop both were close to were we be staying. Well I reached out via email and immediately feel good about Bittersweet and Jenny who I emailed back and forth on my cake design was such an incredible person. The customer service that I received from them was top tier and then my cake not only turned out beautifully but it was moist and tasted delicious. They executed my pictures idea that I sent them to the fullest. I was so grateful to have them about of my big day. Thanks Jenny and the entire team for such incredible cake. I recommend them 10 out 10 for any special occasion you will not be disappointed.“

“Excellent baked goods at this friendly and popular corner shop. The pecan croissant was flaky, sweet, and crunchy. The polenta cookie had a lovely grainy texture. I love their attention to detail on their recipes and the staff recommendations they've posted in their case.
They have several tables inside, outside along the street, and in a shaded patio.

“We stopped into O’Delice French Bakery for a snack. The atmosphere is very neat and fun, similar to a French Bakery. The nice lady behind the counter explained which pastries contained tree nuts. The lemon tart was delicious and we were very pleased with our choice.

Its worth being more expensive than other donuts but not 2xs more I was charged $20 for a dozen when I get a dozen from any where for less than $13 different states and countries. Its the most expensive I've ever encountered. Yes the taste is GREAT but for the price I wont recommend or re visit.“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food.
