I love this French bread, don't get me wrong, I like Leidenheimer, but I love this one. The addition of the sesame makes a huge difference and the loaves being a little wider makes for a better PoBoy. This place needs to be protected at all costs, a true treasure of New Orleans.
It doesn’t get any better than this. Born and raised in New Orleans. The French bread here can never be completely explained on just how it’s different than any other French bread I have ever eaten. It’s crunchy yet tender taste and feel in your mouth after coming out of the oven melts in your mouth!It’s good plain, with butter, with garlic & butter, or with anything you put on it.
