“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! “Quintessential Marigny coffee shop. Fell in love with a divine maple latte last fall I never minded waiting 20 minutes in line for. Eclectic crowd, packed liked sardines; barista’s look like extras from a Nirvana video. You’re as likely to find a vintage clothing sale outside as you are a chess game, or neighborhood denizens passing a joint around on the stoops outside. Excellent pours. The coffee never disappoints, but the ambiance makes the place.“

“Celtica has fast become our new favorite breakfast place. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. The vibe is a pleasant mixture depending on the time of visit but mostly very friendly mixture of gen x and millennials. The only hang up i have is the available seating, this place needs more seating as it is gaining popularity quickly.“

“I'm recommending the gazebo because I've always loved going here and never had any issues with the food, until yesterday. We waited on two drinks for 25 minutes and two meals for 45 minutes. The food was inedible, both poboys were doused in salt and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. I informed the server that it wasn't cooked and I couldn't eat it and she couldn't have cared less. We paid $70 for food that was left on the plate. Extremely disappointed and hoping it was just a bad day.“

Ordered: Brisket bear claw with pickled onions, pralines pan au suisse, coconut and pecan croissant, peach blondie.

Everything was crunchy, fresh, and not too sweet.

Go visit and order everything. I went on a Thursday morning and there was no wait.“

“Small little coffee spot inside a cool looking and smelling deli. The drinks are made to order and you are the priority when the gentleman is making your choice beverage. I happen to walk in just based off the sign for the coffee inside. I had an iced americano and it was delicious. Highly recommended.“

“It is indeed a little blue shop. When it's busy the seating fills up fast ha.

The service was fast. The food was delicious. It was a close and easy walk to where we stayed.
We got turtle soup and a savory crepe. The savory crepe had boudin and a liver mousse.

The soup was very good. I think with crusty bread it would be a great standalone for a light meal.
