“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

“We always try to go here when we are in New Orleans. Last weekend we took my niece for her first visit and she left her purse that was filled with all of her makeup. She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! That is great customer service.“

“I like this place and I like that oat milk is already included in the drink, I hope there will be more vegan pastry options soon as I’m switching over to vegan from vegetarian, but I’ll gladly still get the coffee. Eclectic crowd, packed liked sardines; barista’s look like extras from a Nirvana video. You’re as likely to find a vintage clothing sale outside as you are a chess game, or neighborhood denizens passing a joint around on the stoops outside. Excellent pours. The coffee never disappoints, but the ambiance makes the place.“

“I'm recommending the gazebo because I've always loved going here and never had any issues with the food, until yesterday. We waited on two drinks for 25 minutes and two meals for 45 minutes. The food was inedible, both poboys were doused in salt and the chicken wasn't cooked properly. I informed the server that it wasn't cooked and I couldn't eat it and she couldn't have cared less. We paid $70 for food that was left on the plate. Extremely disappointed and hoping it was just a bad day.“

“Celtica has fast become our new favorite breakfast place. Staff are very friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. The vibe is a pleasant mixture depending on the time of visit but mostly very friendly mixture of gen x and millennials. The only hang up i have is the available seating, this place needs more seating as it is gaining popularity quickly.“

“They craft all of their baked goods on site and it’s obvious someone has real skill. We had a croissant with pecan, coconut and filled with a pecan paste and it was in a word- amazing. Great atmosphere and the barista was fun to talk to about dialing in for coffee every time they change beans. Great time and great place.“

The service was fast. The food was delicious. It was a close and easy walk to where we stayed.
We got turtle soup and a savory crepe. The savory crepe had boudin and a liver mousse.

The soup was very good. I think with crusty bread it would be a great standalone for a light meal.

Our party of four had the "BBQ" oysters and patte as appetizer; gumbo, steak and frittes, beet salad with blue crab and grilled duroc blade steak as main course, and shared the chocolate cake and bread pudding - all perfect. Very busy on the Monday visited and a bit louder than I would have preferred. That said, would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit.“
