“The service was very good here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The onion rings were the best that I have had in a long time. I had the Cajun Egg Roll, and it wasn't for me because it tasted like black pepper, but that's just my opinionKid-friendliness: Kids would love the Donuts ?“

“Super place for breakfast. We loved everything we ordered. We had bread pudding pancakes and they were very special and not overly sweet. Poached eggs with pork and shrimps were amazing, as well as shrimp and grits. The service was fast and servers friendly and helpful“

“Willa Jean was one of the top suggested places by friends when visiting New Orleans. Running out of time, I went for a quick pastry since there's a to-go bakery counter near the large dining room. Ordering a blueberry muffin, they warmed it up for me. It was large and really good. It filled me for several hours!“

“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Morning Call Coffee Stand in New Orleans, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly made beignets and café au lait. The service was lightning-fast, and despite being a cash-only establishment, we were in and out in no time. The staff members were not only efficient but also had a great sense of humor, adding a playful touch to our morning routine. As for the food, it was simply divine. The beignets were light, fluffy, and dusted with just the right amount of powdered sugar, while the café au lait was rich and creamy, the perfect complement to the sweet treats.Overall, Morning Call Coffee Stand provided us with a memorable breakfast experience that perfectly encapsulated the charm and flavor of New Orleans. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth a visit.“

“Best beignets ever! You also can't go wrong with their other delicious desserts. This was recommended by locals and now I see why. We are always bringing some home everytime. Light and flaky, not thick. The Rampart location has more selection, but you can grab your favorites in the French Market“

“This place is a Hidden GEM❣Fun place Perfect! Perfect food! I was torn between the French toast and the shrimp and grits...but they offer smaller portions as sides; perfect! The owner is a superb artist and it shows inside and out! This is me, Zora the cook and Daisy (the magical flying pig :-)“

“This is one of the best lunch cafes I have ever been to! I am a vegetarian and sandwich options are always so limited anywhere else. So many options I had a hard time deciding. Even if you’re not vegetarian you should check this place out!!“

“We stopped in here on our search for some authentic gelato. We tried a few different flavors such as the stracciatella, amarena cherry, cookies black, and hazelnut. The stracciatella was a little heavy on the chocolate but it was still super smooth and tasted great. The amarena cherry and cookies black were probably my two favorite gelatos as they were very well balanced! It's nice and quaint inside and there is some additional seating outdoors too.“

“Great little cafe tucked in the quarter featuring a wide variety of games from arcade machines to uno. Love the vibe and the food here but the coffee is a bit pricey.Got a large mocha (more like medium sized) for around $8-9. Just a bit more compared to other cafes like PJs.“

“I don’t take my 11 month old out to eat often but they made it soo easy for us. They were quick in getting his food to us and even though I offered, they wouldn’t let us clean up after him. The buser even came over to interact with our kiddo. It was a really nice experience and made taking him out very enjoyable.“

“Cafe Du Monde was one of my highlights of New Orleans! We walked by on our first day touring the area and it was packed live music out front and not a empty seat. Which was for me very impatient waiting for a seat, but on our second day we decided to go and try and find a table. It’s kinda first one to grab a table as someone leaves kinda thing. It was packed and we only waited 5-10 min for a table of 7. Service was amazing waited like 3-5 min before our order was on the table. Highly recommend a Frozen coffee!! Not a coffee person but by far the best frozen coffee I’ve ever had!!“

“The courtyard is very charming and it had all the makings of a beautiful classy place. The service was quite slow. We didn't get a drink for 35 minutes. The portions were small (though the food was delicious). Lastly, there was a table of wildly drunk bros nearby watching a baseball game on their phone. Just not what I was expecting.Wait, also, the "mixed olives" were 80% kalamata.“

“I really like this place, one of my favorites in town. The service is absolutely fantastic, the teas are great, unfortunately today the key lime pie was not as great as always, the whip cream felt fake (from a can) not fresh and that was disappointing :c I still give them 5 of 5 because we really like the place and hopefully they keep the original quality of the key lime pie“

“Just had an incredible and cozy dine in experience. I usually get take out or delivery but had time today to sit inside. The service was extraordinary and so is the stew on special today. Its called fassoulya beyda (white beans) and it was had the most tender flavorful pieces of beef in a luxurious broth with creamy beans. I actually started to cry at the table over how comforting and delicious it was on a chilly work day. I hope they make it a regular menu item because I feel like I had a religious experience at lunch today. My partner got the beef shawarma which was very flavorful as usual and their rice, hummus and baba gamouj are to die for.Highly recommend. The prices in the attached grocery are also great.“

“The food was good and nicely presented. It is cute and quaint. Orders are olaced at the counter, you seat yourself and they find you. I did find it odd I had to ask for syrup. Once I did, a condiment organizer was brought to my table complete with salt and pepper. The dogs with the man sitting at the next table were brought water and then some treats, without saying a word. The patrins were pleasant and conversational, the staff at the cafe were "matter of fact".“

“My best friend and I spent a week in NOLA and we popped into this Cafe randomly for coffee the day we arrived. We've been back every morning since for coffee, tea and breakfast. The baristas are the most amazing and personable crew I've ever met and their drinks AND food are amazing. I would absolutely recommend this above any of the main "tourist" stops. Look for Heidi, Kate or Samuel behind the bar and Orlando in the kitchen. So hard to leave because they feel like family!“

“Had the gumbo and it was very good with plenty of fish and sausage. Red beans and rice was okay. I would give 5 stars except that the drink menu, and regular menu had no prices listed for any drinks. This is usually a red flag and indicative of a tourist trap.“

“Good coffee. Very tasty and the place has a nice, homey ambience. They didn't have almond milk so I got coconut in my decaf iced latte. Had a lot of good flavor for a decaf... didn't have the usual nasty decaf aftertaste which I appreciate. Pretty large for a small too!“

“A decent stop for anyone in the garden district! We had the fancy beignet flight (raspberry, smores, and cannoli). They are pretty good! I think if you aren’t familiar with southern food already, it would be worth a stop. If you are, and you’re looking for something more “knock your socks off,” this might not be the spot.“

“I’ve starting eating here at least once every time I go to NOLA, and that is saying something. There certainly is a lot of competition. This unassuming gem is nestled in a great neighborhood on a great, quiet sreet to stroll. That alone makes it great for a getaway from the craziness. The food is as good or better than I have had in NYC Ethiopian restaurants, but a much better value. Service is small but terrific. For dessert, eat their baklava or head for the famous snowball stand outside.“

“I recently went to Another Broken Egg for the first time and Jenny was our server. She was amazing and really made my first visit special. She took her time with us, never making us feel rushed, and had some great suggestions from the menu. Everything she recommended turned out to be delicious, and it's safe to say she knows her stuff.Jenny's service went above and beyond, making our meal not just about great food, but a really enjoyable experience. It's because of her that I'll definitely be coming back to the restaurant. It's clear she's a great asset to the Another Broken Egg team, and anyone who gets to have Jenny as their server is in for a treat.“

“Feels like a neighborhood cafe or coffee shop and may get overlooked but it has the best food of any that we had in New Orleans the last few days. Red beans and rice was superb. Tasso sandwich was new to me and delicious-lots of different flavors on thick grilled bread. And the crawfish mashed potatoes were fantastic. I saw Chef Dwayne (?) making it and he offered a taste. Oh my. Service was warm and personable. Highly recommend.“

“Some say the day starts when the sun rises, but any masters of life know time doesn't begin until you've stepped into Satsuma Cafe. Forget the fart (& whatever else) that freely flowed out of you in the early AM. No need to remember the muscle you pathetically pulled failing to reach the snooze button shortly after. Nothing before Satsuma matters. (And nothing after.) Married? Now you're single. A parent? There was never a child. Employed? Step directly to the cash register to completely omit any & all responsibilities. Who needs a paycheck, family or a life when the cuisine & vibes are this spectacular? Without Satsuma you are nothing. Make something of yourself - nay - make something EXTRAORDINARY of yourself & come support a cafe that will revolutionize the very core of your DNA. I had the lavendar lemonade and brunch hash. Was good. 5 stars.“

“I remember Leni's Cafe when I went to school across the street and up the block back in 1968 when I graduated. L.E. Rabouin was the vocational high school back then. Would have lunch there for our senior year. Mike, Howard and myself. Place brings back good memories. Gonna try and come back there for old times sake. But sadly Mike and Howard are no longer with us. Had great food then and appears to have continued that tradition. Never had the poker machines back then.“

“Terrytown Cafe is a MUST. Hot and fresh every time. I live in Delaware, and every time New Orleans is brought up, Terrytown is the first thought in my mind. I recommend it to people before I even think about Cafe du Monde, po boy spots, and other tourist attractions. I will die saying that Terrytown has the best donuts in the world. I truly have not tasted anything better. A simple glaze is my go to!“
