I will always come back for the food and the excellent hospitality.
We only found the Market Cafe to have our last lunch on our last day after a week in New Orleans for Mardi Gras.
We wish we had found it earlier!
We were able to get a table straight away and had the benefit of a seat near the bar, in a window with a great view of the French Quarter and close to where the fantastic live music was playing.

We did the breakfast buffet. It was good for a little buffet definitely had some good options. We enjoyed our breakfast for the most. Our server was very nice and took care of us but I didn't get his name. The jazz band outside was playing pretty good as well.

Market Cafe offers a lively atmosphere with excellent music and service. Knowledgeable staff can guide you through the menu. Try the Taste of New Orleans or the New Orleans sampler for a diverse culinary experience. The fried oysters were delicious, and the service is unmatched—swift, wonderful, and intentional. Enjoy good music and fun, with a fantastic band and great personality from the staff. The place has both inside and outdoor seating in a great location. Be prepared for higher prices, and note that drink prices are not listed on the menu.
