“This was our first time and this place is indicative of the charm of up town NOLA. A modest looking outside wifh a wonderfully quaint and hip interior. The service was perfect thanks to HD (our servers nickname) and the food was perfect along with the fun craft cocktails. A wonderful experience all around. We will be back.“

“IMO its a keeper and a great addition to the rotation. Great ambience. I vacillated on what to order and a last minute switch from the lobster black gnocchi to the veal chop was a good move. Started with the blue crab beignets and a martini (for me) then the veal chop which was delicious and perfectly prepared. For desert I had the creme brûlée bread pudding and espresso. My part of the bill was $125 and it was money well spent.“

“First time dining at Ralph's and it did not disappoint. The customer service was great. The menu was not huge but still presented plenty of options. Last night's sweet potato soup was delicious. We also had the shrimp and Tasso and crab bruschetta apps and they were also delicious. For entrees we had the tuna and the shrimp fettuccini special. Again, delicious. And for dessert what else but the bread pudding, insanely delicious. Highly recommend!“

“Came here for my anniversary dinner and oh. My. GOD. Best tasting menu I’ve ever experienced. There’s stools for your PURSES to not touch the floor. The owner comes out mid meal and tells you everything about the food and where it directly draws inspiration from. Just incomparable. Phenomenal. Best meal I’ve ever had. And I am a pro foodie at this point!“

“this place was amazing! They are very friendly and the food was awesome. My son just got out of surgery and wanted a poboy. This was the place he picked and again they didn't disappoint. My family and I will Def be back. Side note their sweet tea is the best I ever had.“

“A magazine review brought us to this restaurant and we were not disappointed. Entering our 8th decade on earth we were concerned with the portion size but were extremely pleased. All three courses (Wednesdays and Thursdays) were completed and we were not "stuffed". Next time it's five courses because we don't want to miss out on any of the good food. To say service was exemplary would be an understatement. Each dish was delivered and explained which added to the overall satisfaction. Hope we will be able to greet you there on our next visit (real soon).“

Still dreaming about the perfect French 75 we had here. It was a gorgeous 75 degree day in February. We did a historical walking tour, and then came into the bar to get a little refreshment before our next adventure. The cocktails were cold. The service was great! We cannot wait to come back on our next visit to the city!“

“This place is awesome! We sat at the bar, which was spacious and inviting. Preston and Jason are the BEST! Very knowledgeable of the food (which was all amazing), drinks, and are both so sweet! I recommend the Boudin and the gumbo. Truthfully speaking, everything was good, and there's something for everyone!“

“Wonderful, fresh food, lovely hostess (Miss D) remembered us, the boss, Jason, did as much grunt work as anyone else on the floor, and though seating stops around 8pm, we were never rushed. Of special note are the brussels sprouts, the little cabbage that everyone loves to hate, which was sweet and crispy and barely recognizable as the same vegetable you refused as a kid. Don't neglect the desserts, particularly their pecan pie, which approaches heaven on a plate. Fish and seafood that is breaded is breaded lightly and cooked just right. Convenient location, pleasant atmosphere, decent prices. I love this place!“

“Second time to Mr. B's and it was a solid experience. The waitstaff was kind and accommodating while the food was incredible. My only complaint is that the hosts are rude. When you are traveling, and look forward to a special dinner it would be nice to feel welcome. Feeling judged when you walk through the door is quite disappointing. However, it was a great experience otherwise.“

“I found Brigtsen's About 15 years ago. I have since been there 10 times over the years on vacation. I go to all the fine dining restaurants In NOLA. No matter where I go. Brigtsen's is consistently the best meal of my trip. I just had the pork chop last week in was so delicious. This is truly one of the best restaurants in America. One of my favorite visits is when Frank is there so that I get to say hello. There are not many restaurants were a famous chef is actually there . I try to save room for the pecan pie but I'm not always successful. The menu is so good with choices I get too full. The service is also excellent. So in ending, I could go on for days, I'll just say. When your in New Orleans check out Brigtsen's. It's ok to thank me with every bite.“

“This review is long overdue. I went to Annunciation for the first time in June and I can't wait to go back. I hadn't heard much about it so I didn't know what to expect.

Everyone at my table loved what we ate -- so much so that we all shared bites of each others' dishes.

“My favorite dish here is by far the gumbo! Whether it's the tender Turkey sausage, the plump shrimp, or the tender chicken, each bite is a symphony of flavors that dances on my palate. The subtle heat of the spices, the earthiness of the roux, and the aromatic herbs, they all come together in perfect harmony, leaving me in a state of pure bliss. 11/10 highly recommend!!“

“Lived up to the hype and reputation. One real highlight was the incredible and diverse menu, or should I say menus. What a selection. We had the redfish filet and the shrimp Creole. I am hard to please with shrimp Creole but it was as good as the best I've had.“

“I love the Braised Beef and get that everytime we go to YOCI. However, this time, the meat was tough and dry, with a lot of gravy poured over it. I actually had to cut it with a knife! I did tell our waiter, and showed him the large chunk of meat. He immediately asked if I wanted something else. Yes. The Fish was perfect!“

“Everything about this place is great and fits. Atmosphere is cool/great for all ages, nice server, gluten free friendly, and man does the food taste great. Saw fish tacos were recommended by another review…yeah, best fish tacos I’ve ever had. Fresh fish, swapped out flour for corn tortillas, when cupped everything fit perfectly…and definitely filling. Got it with yellow rice. (Which was only *slightly* dry.) ????????“
