“My husband and I went on Friday night for dinner. Could not wait to try the new menu and it was simply awesome. To start with, our sever team was Isaac and Cheyanne and they were great. We never waited for anything. The Hot Crab Claws and Foie Gras Torte for appetizers were divine. I ordered the Duck Cassoulet and my husband had the visiting fish, Sea Bass over Yakamein. While the fish was excellent, the Duck ruled the table. Thanks to the Servers and Kitchen for a wonderful meal. We'll be back.“

“This place really left a lasting impression. From the hostess, our server, the bathrooms, food, price point, time we spent. Everything was on point. We had oysters, gumbo, bisque, redfish, and house salad. Everything was divine!!! Keep up the good work! Also loved that it was so very clean.“

“One of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans was at Toups! We had a charcuterie board with their house made hogs head cheese, chicken liver mousse and foie gras accompanied by house pickles. Simply incredible!! The hogs head cheese was the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the chunkiness of it with nice pieces of tender pork! The crispy turkey necks! Oh my goodness… AMAZING! The braised lamb neck entree was exquisite with a generous portion and crispy spaetzle! Even leftover, it was great!! I also had their pork chop and applesauce cocktail which was creative and also delicious!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Great work Chef Isaac and team!“

“I drove AT NIGHT. WITH AN ASTIGMATISM. all the way from DA PARISH to THE CITY for this bread pudding. Took a wrong turn down a one-way like a true local menace, didn’t even put my dentures in, and would absolutely do it again because this bread pudding had me seeing God, my ancestors, and Louis Armstrong all at once. Soft. Sweet. Soaked just right. Illegal in at least three states. Now let’s talk about the REAL MVP: the waitress/bartender with the cute lipstick. Ma’am was serving looks, vibes, and hospitality like she was born behind that bar during Jazz Fest. Sweet as pralines, sharp as a Saints comeback, and made the whole place feel like your favorite cousin’s house—if your cousin knew how to pour a drink and flirt professionally. I am currently eating this bread pudding right next to the establishment like a raccoon with a treasure, specifically to keep my husband from getting a bite. He had 45 whole minutes to get out of bed, put on clothes, and drive me here before closing—and chose violence (sleep). That’s on him. I chose dessert. 10/10. Worth the drive, the risk, the one-way street, the bare gums, and the marital pettiness. New Orleans at its finest.“

“My bestie and I visited Monday during Essence Fest Weekend and had the best server Centorrey. She was very attentive and honest from the time we sat down til the time we departed. Her customer service was A+++ Centorrey made coming to this restaurant a joy that I had to see her manager personally and verbally tell him what an amazing job she did. Thank you so much Centorrey and Hadji (Manager) for a great experience. The food and drinks were on point as well just removed those little airplane fans because that do nothing for that NOLA heat. I'll see you guys on my next visit“

“Wow! Three of us ate lunch at Cafe Reconcile, the food was absolute perfection. We started with the fried turkey necks appetizer. Going into it we weren't sure what to expect but let me tell you.... they were unbelievably good!!! All of us had the Fried Green Tomato BLT on Jalapeno Cornbread Toast.... more perfection! Side dishes were Gumbo and Sweet Potato Crumble.....yep, perfection! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The staff were exceptional and very attentive. The prices were extremely reasonable and I guarantee you won't find better food at an expensive high end restaurant. Be sure to check this place out. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“My favorite New Orleans restaurant. The food is always fresh, flavorful and delicious. Frank keeps the menu seasonal and world with what's fresh in the market. New Orleans is home to many fine dining restaurants but none dinner than Brigtsen's. it's friendly, distinguished, welcoming to all. I'm not a fancy person and I've never felt out of place here. You won't find a better place to dine.“

“If there were a gold standard for hospitality, it would be JC, our waiter at Mr. B’s Bistro. We brought a group of dear friends along this time—and JC made each of us feel genuinely part of the Mr. B’s family. We’ve been dining here since 1979, and somehow JC has only grown even more remarkable with time. The food, of course, is exquisite. We started with spring rolls and crabcakes, and, naturally, the freshly baked warm French bread with butter. Truffle fries for the table were a decadent prelude to the main event. Several of us savored the filet—perfect with garlic rounds and sautéed spinach. The snapper, as always, was sublime. The gumbo and barbecue shrimp are quintessential New Orleans specialties—so iconic that I even try my hand at the shrimp at home using the recipe from the Mr. B’s Bistro cookbook. Desserts were equally delightful: the bread pudding, salted caramel chocolate cake, and, of course, the classic profiteroles. Cocktails were spot on, and the red wine we chose from their extensive list paired beautifully with the meal. Nestled on Royal Street in the heart of the French Quarter, Mr. B’s Bistro is a treasure, and JC is its beating heart. Fifty years in, and we still can’t imagine going anywhere else. Dining here is less a meal than a tradition—and like a fine red wine—or even their unforgettable barbecue shrimp—JC only gets better with time.“

“Coop’s Place is definitely one of those classic hole-in-the-wall New Orleans spots that ends up being way better than you expect. The fried chicken was seriously tasty and had a unique, distinct flavor that stood out from other places I’ve tried. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and full of seasoning. The atmosphere is laid back and authentic, which makes the experience feel even more New Orleans. If you’re looking for great local food without anything fancy, this place is worth checking out.“

“We visit this restaurant every time we come to New Orleans. The owner is so sweet and kind and the service as usual is excellent. While here this time the owner was having the bar tender to make different drinks and she kept bring over drinks for us to try, I am not talking about little shot glasses but regular drink classes. To say I wasn’t feeling any pain is an understatement. I highly recommend that you check out this restaurant, I promise you want be sorry.“

“Ride on the Creole Queen Paddle Boat up and down the Mississippi River whole listening to a over view of the town and the paddle boat itself.
There are three levels to find seating and two interior dining rooms. We must have gone when tourism was down as there were not very many people a board.
The ride lasted a little less than 90 minutes. We saw a Carnival cruise ship taking off and two oil tankers.
It was ha4d to hear the speaker and all he had to say, but the snippets I got were very interesting especially about the fort of Andrew Jackson.“
