One of the best meals I’ve had in New Orleans was at Toups! We had a charcuterie board with their house made hogs head cheese, chicken liver mousse and foie gras accompanied by house pickles. Simply incredible!! The hogs head cheese was the best I’ve ever had! I especially loved the chunkiness of it with nice pieces of tender pork! The crispy turkey necks! Oh my goodness… AMAZING! The Toups’ Burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! Our waiter was very knowledgeable in the dishes and kept our drinks full. I highly recommend this place. Next time I go I want to try the smoked duck!

Based on the reviews, Toups' Meatery is a true treasure to the city. It is a favorite spot where the chef is true to the craft and celebrates the culture. The restaurant is not afraid to try new things, but the old things are mastered and always a strong go-to. Everything is top shelf quality, with amazing food and great atmosphere. Guests have a great experience every time, whether with friends or alone at the bar. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the service is always great. Specific popular dishes include the boudin, crab claws, roasted gulf shrimp, and fried turkey necks. The corn bread is also amazing. It is a non negotiable stop for many, offering a vibe you won't find anywhere else.
