Muriel's evidently HATES the disabled. Talking to someone in a wheelchair like they are developmentally disabled, the looks of contempt and disgust, along with condescension really do not make this a decent place to visit. Then there were the overheard comments about another patron's weight. Absolutely disgusting and uncalled for.
Please just put a sign outside that says "We hate wheelchairs and Fat people, go away"
Better that than being humiliated and poorly treated.
The food and service were impeccable. Unfortunately, our dining experience was marred by the actions of one person. I booked the ghost table months in advance for my daughter’s 21st birthday dinner. This table is reserved for the resident ghost and is tucked under the stairs to the entrance of the seance lounge. Muriel's is definitely a place to visit in the French Quarter! The food, the staff(especially Randall) and the experience was amazing!
