“We went yesterday and the wait was 2 hours. Got there a little earlier today and we got in. I’ve eaten at the Uptown location and was so happy they opened up another one that’s closer. It was my daughter’s first time and she said the food is so good and understands why there is a wait.“

“The chocolate croissant and cinnamon rolls are amazing!! The cinnamon roll does have a sugar coating instead of a glaze and the dough is more croissant like but it’s a delicious take on cinnamon rolls. The baguette is sour dough which I didn’t realize but still really delicious. The olive flatbread wasn’t my favorite but worth a try. The brownie was chewy in texture but has clumps of some kind of oil (maybe coconut? Not sure) and wasn’t as chocolatey or as fudgey as I like my brownies. Lastly, the chocolate chip cookie is OMG. One of my new favorites and I will be back just for this!!!“

“This was my regular morning coffee and breakfast spot for a recent stay in the Bywater area. Friendly and accommodating, with a selection of big and small plates for all appetites. My go to was the chilli avocado toast and cortado, perfect for starting my days. Sometimes the chef would sing something delightful while going about his tasks, not indicative of his Celtic Frost T. Servers are friendly and helpful, with good memories, as my personal peculiar dietary requirements were remembered after day one. Thanks Satsuma!“

Karnessa and David served us and were great fun, attentive and professional, The cocktails ( Hurricane and Ramos Gin Fizz) were exceptional and had a chance to talk to the barman before we left. “This review is for the two separate times i’ve been to Russell’s Marina Grill. Service: The customer service is amazing. I had different waitresses each time and both of them were so kind and welcoming. They made great suggestions and made me feel like they wanted me to have the best meal of my life. They also took time to get to know me by asking about where i’m from, what I do, etc. I felt extremely at home and would come here for the service alone. Food: The food is amazing, it’s almost unbelievable that this place exists. I ordered the Ruby’s Special and Eggs Benedict the first time; ordered the Eggs Benedict the second time. Both times, the Eggs Benedict did NOT disappoint. The eggs were cooked perfectly with an english muffin that had the ideal crispyness to it. The Ruby’s Special is a burger with fries and a cherry vanilla shake. I asked for the burger to be as rare as possible; most places will cook it medium rare. However, they cooked my burger to the most perfect level of being as rare as possible. I was extremely impressed and will definitely be coming back anytime i’m in Nola.“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

I’d have given 5 stars except the restaurant was not very wheelchair accessible. I might have made it over the threshold. But, I wasn’t sure and didn’t want to get thrown out of my chair. So, we ate outside. The worst part was that the bathroom had a large concrete curb you had to step up on. There was no option for me.“

I could never imagined that I would have such an extraordinary experience like this from a business establishment outside of my own neighborhood!L Lorraine Lanzilotta is such an amazing person to deal with. Her kindness, professionalism, helpfulness and beyond outstanding customer service offered gave me chills! This employee treated me as if we had been friends for many years! She made the entire process so much fun and personalized my order knowing how much the recipient (my daughter) would just LOVE her baked goods. Lorraine’s interpersonal skills and attention to detail are like no one else’s . I sent the most creative and charming cake and cupcakes to Nikki for a special celebration…and not only did she ensure it was artistically designed and personalized to perfection, but she also wrapped it in cellophane and attached a gorgeous notecard. My girl received it less than an hour from when I placed the order and was blown away by the presentation. Nothing But Bundt Cakes earned my business today and certainly deserves to earn yours. FUN FACT:Coming in March this franchise will be opening up in my neighborhood. ANOTHER FUN FACT:Lorraine Lanzilotta is as sweet as the cakes that she sells at the bakery; MAKE SOMEONE’S DAY AND HAVE ONE DELIVERED TODAY!“

I didn't have the fried oysters, they allowed me to substitute them for surprisingly both extra catfish and extra shrimp. The photo I took did no justice, there was even more shrimp on the plate then what you could see. The shrimp was a very nice size and had thee absolute best freshest taste. It's almost as if they went out caught the shrimp this morning ??. The batter was light & crispy, with just the right amount of flavor omg?. This shrimp was not overcooked nor were they over salted, I mean can it get any better?.... Yes!! Let's get into this catfish.... when I tell you that was thee absolute best tasting catfish I've had in a long time. The batter was flavorful and crispy. This fish had the right balance of seasoning to it ? ?? ??. The french fries were also very good, they weren't overcooked nor undercooked. They had a nice and light seasoning on them and were served hot to order. The coleslaw was just okay. I was expecting more flavor to it, maybe even more of their ingredients to just make it pop some more; but it was edible. Maybe more mayo or something ? ??‍♂️. Let me not forget about the tartar sauce ?... that tartar sauce was amazing. You can tell it was freshly made using just the right amount of ingredients to add the best flavor, making it to not taste like a regular tartar sauce, but something a step above any other tartar sauce you will or have ever tasted. This food spoke to my soul ? ??. Yes lord, speak to my spirit. I mean this was the most simple, yet tasteful dish that I have been looking for during my 1st visit to New Orleans. This combination is well worth the price ?? ????. If I go back, this is the exact dish that I will be ordering. You all did very well and my compliments to the chef ?‍? ?‍?. “So I bought the wrong card to complete my transaction and I said I’ll be right back. I came back after 15 minutes to a piping hot pizza and lots of smiles from all the employees.
