“A nice upscale and comfortable environment for learning more about Irish immigrants coming to New Orleans. Wonderful history and even better tastes of Ireland. The espresso martini and Irish lemonade are really refreshing and delicious.“

“Stopped by during a rainy afternoon and the atmosphere felt extra cozy because of the weather outside. Ordered waffles and hot chocolate while waiting for traffic to calm down. Waffles came warm with fresh toppings and the chocolate drink wasn’t too heavy. Service slowed slightly once the cafe filled up, though still manageable.“

“I recently rediscovered this gem a few weeks ago. The service is fantastic great selection of beverages and snacks. The Mushroom Boom is sooooo dang delicious! Then there is the added space to meet, gather, read a book etc. Perfect!“

“Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

“We always try to go here when we are in New Orleans. Last weekend we took my niece for her first visit and she left her purse that was filled with all of her makeup. She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! That is great customer service.“

“I saw this lovely place on Uber Ears and decided to give it a try. I AM HOOKED! Unfortunately I don’t go to that area of town often but I may have to in the future! The Bavarian Cream and Venetian Cream iced coffee drinks are off the chain! But the best is the Wellness Tonic…their signature wellness shot with tonic water and ice! Chef’s kiss!“

“We thoroughly enjoyed all the trays we got at Ayu Bakehouse on our recent trip to New Orleans! The staff is very friendly, and it’s clear they love the place and the products they produce! Of all the items we tried I would have to say that the one that was hardest for me to share with my family was the muffuletta sticks!“

“It’s hard to decide what to have at this wonderful place. They have so many great dishes - but I rarely pass up the biscuits and sausage gravy. Great… now i’m hungry for it.“
“Black owned coffee shop in NOLA. So while in Nola we wanted to get coffee and remembered this place. They have a variety of coffee, teas, and pastries to choose from. I got the vanilla matcha and it was pretty good. It was my first time having it and it was different but still good. My friend got a lavender lemonade and she said that was really good. They have different vendors there selling a variety of things and it was a charcuterie board/cup vender I got that and it was really good treat with my drink. The owner was really nice and friendly. And the vibe was vibing. They had a dj. And they had the bops playing. If you in Nola definitely check them out,“

“Quintessential Marigny coffee shop. Fell in love with a divine maple latte last fall I never minded waiting 20 minutes in line for. Eclectic crowd, packed liked sardines; barista’s look like extras from a Nirvana video. You’re as likely to find a vintage clothing sale outside as you are a chess game, or neighborhood denizens passing a joint around on the stoops outside. Excellent pours. The coffee never disappoints, but the ambiance makes the place.“

“They craft all of their baked goods on site and it’s obvious someone has real skill. We had a croissant with pecan, coconut and filled with a pecan paste and it was in a word- amazing. Great atmosphere and the barista was fun to talk to about dialing in for coffee every time they change beans. Great time and great place.“

“Decent little café with lots of plants and good coffee. A little bare and the pastries were sold out by 11am. Chai was VERY spicy. My bourbon maple syrup latte was pretty good. The menu had your basic coffee options and some special ones. There were about two or three people working. There is some street parking out front and we found parking around the corner. Be cautious about all the one way streets. It was about a 6 minute drive from Caesars Palace.“

“Everyone there is so friendly and the manager goes above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere in there and you can't go wrong with the coffee and don't forget to grab a delicious danish, fresh made each morning, only if they don't sale out before you get there. They are that good.“
“This is a wonderful place for anyone who loves coffee and wants to experience it at it’s best. They have a wide variety of beans which you can roast to your taste with expert assistance. The result is heavenly coffee at the same price or less than the packaged premium coffees for sale around town.“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“

“Absolute must-visit for bibliophiles in NOLA. Beautiful, mellow vibes from the atmosphere and staff, a wonderful selection of Black literature across all genres, and one of the best coffees I’ve had yet. Order the Go Tell It On The Mountain and the eggy cheese croissant and soak up the morning in a window seat.“

“I like this place and I like that oat milk is already included in the drink, I hope there will be more vegan pastry options soon as I’m switching over to vegan from vegetarian, but I’ll gladly still get the coffee. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. And the staff are fun to talk to as well. It’s nice coming here and there very sweet to my dog as well.“
