“This is the best PJ's on either the Northshore or Southshore of Lake Pontchartrain. The area where the barristas do all the grinding and noise making activity is shielded from the customer tables. It is a quiet place where I can concentrate on my work.“

“This is a solid location! We loved our visit here. There is a large amount of seating, including a lovely covered patio option, and was not overly crowded, either.

The food was delicious, affordable as always, and didn’t take too long at all!! We will definitely be back if the opportunity arises!“

“For those wondering: the Moxie is a shaken espresso with a house-made vanilla brown sugar syrup. It’s pretty sweet, but it’s delicious. The espresso here is strong and wonderful. The baristas are knowledgeable and helpful. The shop itself is small, clean, and adorable. My daughter and I love walking over to get some coffee.“

“Fabulous catering for your special occasion! We recently used Causeway Cafe for a party of 50. It was completely hassle free for us hosting and the food was fantastic! Don’t know where to start? Let them plan your menu, that’s what we did. Shrimp and grits, gumbo, potato salad, every type of finger sandwich and party platter served up our evening. Thank you!“

“My family and I were in town for Mardi Gras. I tell ya this team at this location is top tier. I mean friendly and fast every time we came in no matter what time of day we came by. I love that it was open late for an after parading in the city for a late night pick me up. Kudos to management. The place was clean every time. Miles of smiles. My starbucks back home can take a few lessons from this team. Kudos.“

“I was craving a smoothie tonight and 7 brew was the only place still open. They are a coffee shop, so I wasn’t sure how their smoothie was going to taste, but I was pleasantly surprised! I had the best experience. All of the workers were very kind, upbeat, and worked quickly. My smoothie and pup cups were literally made in less than two minutes. Speaking of pup cups, I’ve never seen a pup cup so big! This thing was huge and they even had bones in it. While I was waiting for the car in front of me, several of the workers were chatting with me and petting my dogs. One girl named Maive was the sweetest! She was so kind and she really made my day. Everyone was super professional and made me feel right at home. This is definitely a place I will be returning to. And the best part of all, the Smoothie was awesome! I wasn’t expecting much because its a coffee shop but they actually have really good smoothies and the best pup cups EVER!!“

“We got to visit this place for the first time this past Monday morning. Breakfast was soooo good!! I’m pretty picky about quality and these peeps know what they’re doing. I was impressed. Was thankful for the great service and atmosphere and I’m still drooling over that croissant 🥐 breakfast sandwich. Absolutely delicious. The chef (maybe the owner??) was so cool to talk to, gave us great insight about their food prep and such and overall felt his passion for his work and the awesome space they have there! Black coffee was smooth and delicious!! Can’t wait to go back!!!“

“Great coffee shop! I've been to several in New Orleans and this one is at the top.Food: Granted, the only thing I have had here is the iced chai tea, but it is some of the best I've had. I am going to try more in the future but what I had was fantastic.Service: You don't go to a coffee shop for table service. I don't really understand people on here who give one star reviews because the barista didn't smile at them or welcome them into the establishment. I don't tend to care all that much about that sort of thing, especially when it isn't a sit down restaurant. The barista at the counter when I ordered was polite and quick. I have no complaints.Atmosphere: Lots of comfortable seating with plenty of outlets to charge devices. There are windows everywhere, which makes the space feel more open and natural. Although it definitely feels like a chain (it is), I don't find that to be a problem.“

“I really enjoy this coffee house. I've been 20+ times. I like the atmosphere inside as they have both booths and tables. I can bring my laptop and work from there comfortably. It is quaint so not quite as loud as a Starbucks. Their food is really good, too; particularly their egg biscuits. They have a drive-thru as well so you can get your coffee (which is excellent Italian btw), either inside or drive up. I love their frozen skinny granita which is great during our hot summers. They have two for one on Tuesdays which make it really affordable. I can't say enough good things about this place.“

“My first experience at a Cafe Du Monde was at this location a few days ago. The staff was extremely kind and the environment was calm even though it is located inside the mall. It was a good break from the mall environment and super cute! The beignets were delicious, I can understand why they are a staple! “Everyone there is so friendly and the manager goes above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere in there and you can't go wrong with the coffee and don't forget to grab a delicious danish, fresh made each morning, only if they don't sale out before you get there. They are that good.“
