Doesn't take too long for the order to be ready. Limited parking spots but there isn't usually a big line or anything so it should be fine. “What a lovely and random find! We decided to stop in while exploring and running errands. The name reflects the food and the welcome. It certainly is a place to find a bit of Mana from heaven, elevating your mood and day. The owner and chef is an authentically, welcoming, light filled person.

We had the fresh juice (strawberry and orange) and the waffles with blue berries, eggs with onions and turkey sausage. Everything was phenomenal and just the right portions! The eggs were perfect! The portions were just right so you are satisfied but not over stuffed. Everything was fresh and you could taste it and your body feels it. Berries and fruit. I did not even need syrup. The hot butter was the perfect addition.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mana Bakery Cafe. It really must be made with love, as she said.“

Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. “We always try to go here when we are in New Orleans. Last weekend we took my niece for her first visit and she left her purse that was filled with all of her makeup. She was so upset because we are 5 hours away and she was starting school this week. I called the next morning and they located the bag and overnighted it to us! What a blessing! “Black owned coffee shop in NOLA. So while in Nola we wanted to get coffee and remembered this place. They have a variety of coffee, teas, and pastries to choose from. I got the vanilla matcha and it was pretty good. It was my first time having it and it was different but still good. My friend got a lavender lemonade and she said that was really good. They have different vendors there selling a variety of things and it was a charcuterie board/cup vender I got that and it was really good treat with my drink. The owner was really nice and friendly. And the vibe was vibing. They had a dj. And they had the bops playing. If you in Nola definitely check them out,“

“They craft all of their baked goods on site and it’s obvious someone has real skill. We had a croissant with pecan, coconut and filled with a pecan paste and it was in a word- amazing. Great atmosphere and the barista was fun to talk to about dialing in for coffee every time they change beans. Great time and great place.“

“Quintessential Marigny coffee shop. Fell in love with a divine maple latte last fall I never minded waiting 20 minutes in line for. Eclectic crowd, packed liked sardines; barista’s look like extras from a Nirvana video. You’re as likely to find a vintage clothing sale outside as you are a chess game, or neighborhood denizens passing a joint around on the stoops outside. Excellent pours. The coffee never disappoints, but the ambiance makes the place.“

The menu had your basic coffee options and some special ones. There were about two or three people working. There is some street parking out front and we found parking around the corner. Be cautious about all the one way streets. It was about a 6 minute drive from Caesars Palace.“

“I was in Tremé for four days, and I ate and drank coffee at Fatmas each and every single one of those days. The coffee was amazing. The food was delicious and their pastries were just beautiful. I loved the atmosphere and the outside seating. There’s even a couple of open windows where you can just stand and look out and feel the breeze while you’re waiting for your food. I wish that I lived closer so that I could go there every day.“
