“This place is one my go to coffee hang outs. I almost want to keep it a secret because I enjoy that it is not overcrowded and quaint. This is what I would call a Orleans Parish fancy coffee shop setting with home made meals and coffee in Jefferson. You feel like you are in New Orleans as it is a raised house, with high ceilings, wooden creeky floors, door locks that barely work for the bathroom, and even live music.I have been coming here monthly since the summer and it is a small business owned by a woman who makes her own pickles and cookies with sea salt and coffees. Since it is small, they sometimes run out of items so if your heart is set on something call ahead. She has the most incredible pulled pork cheesy biscuit. Again, sometimes the cheesy biscuit is out, but the regular biscuit is just fine. The home made pickles are truly incredible. My hubby does not like pickles and he craves these. There is a sweetness to them, it isn't all vinegary. And the owner is considering selling them on the side soon. The cookie is a chocolate chip cookie that she adds seastalt to that enhances the flavor. The salad I had, she was out of the particular greens, but the salad was amazing too! The coffee I had was a caramel or something style, it was so good, I got it in cold and hot latte style!I love the teal truck outside that matches the door. The place is clean inside. There are steps to get into the place, there are about 5 or 6 small tables inside, there is a porch with a couple of small tables as well. Prices are on par with any other Orleans parish coffee shop, and parking is off street parking and is across the street which is basically Causeway.“
“We tried the Crawgator and the Pantydropper. I’m struggling to write this review right now as I’m still sipping on mine. 75% done with and writing this reviews feels like I’m drunk texting my man after a girl’s night. Great drinks. Great service. Really affordable.“
“The staff was extremely helpful in showing me how to use their ordering computer system. I would rather just order it from someone. The food was fresh and hot they were busy but it didn't stop them from getting the food out in a very timely manner.“
“Solidly the best coffee I've ever had outside of free-standing fancy coffee houses. I've only bought black coffee from PJ's, but the espresso drinks look great. The coffee tastes like better beans than Starbucks or nearly any other chain I've visited, and they're a match for many high-end roasters. They just have really good coffee.“
“I came here this morning after leaving the doctor for my son. I was very distressed and a very kind soul at the drive through held my hand for a minute and blessed me. I didn’t get her name, but I Want to thank her for such a kind gesture. I have been thinking about it all day. Thank you.“
“Our visit to Cafe Du Monde in City Park at night was an enchanting experience! With no crowds to contend with, we were able to fully immerse ourselves in the cozy ambiance of this iconic cafe. The outdoor seating area was beautifully lit, creating a magical atmosphere under the evening sky.Indulging in their famous beignets and cafe au lait was an absolute treat. The beignets were perfectly fluffy and covered in a generous dusting of powdered sugar, while the cafe au lait was rich and flavorful. It was the ideal combination for a late-night snack. The service was prompt and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyment of our visit. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Cafe Du Monde - City Park is a must-visit destination, especially in the peacefulness of the night. We can't wait to return for another delightful experience. Highly recommended!“
“Just visited this breakfast spot for the first time and I'm already looking forward to going back! The highlight was definitely their customizable Eggs Benedict—I opted for one with grilled tomatoes and another with fried chicken, alongside an omelette. Each dish was cooked to perfection, truly a treat for the taste buds. However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. I encountered a minor hiccup with my order; I had specifically asked the waitress if I could get a fried tomato, to which she affirmed. Unfortunately, what arrived was grilled, not fried. When I pointed out the mix-up, acknowledging it was her mistake, there was no attempt to rectify the error or adjust the bill accordingly. This oversight was a bit disappointing and took away from an otherwise delightful dining experience.Despite this, the quality and taste of the food are undeniable, and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast. Just maybe double-check your order!“
“Forget the more known places in the quarter and find your way to Midcity for these beignets. They are light and fluffy and delicious. They also give you a shaker of powdered sugar, so you can decide how mich you want. And the service is great. It's also a beautiful place.Vegetarian options: BeignetsParking: They have their own lot.Kid-friendliness: It's basically a donut shop.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and handicap parking.“
“We booked the Airbnb in the same building but we arrived earlier than our check in time. A lady who works here invited us in with our luggage and all while we waited for our room to be ready. She was truly just the friendliest person ever! We were here for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and she too had had daughters who played volleyball in the past and she was just so genuinely happy for us to be here for this. We ate here almost everyday and this place is just the cutest, super clean, friendliest staff place ever!!! I seriously can't recommend this cafe enough!!! My husband couldn't even get over how nice all the staff are in here. The crepes are delicious!!! As well as all the danish treats!!! The almond croissant was one of our favorites as well as the chicken Alfredo mushroom crepe!!! 5/5 stars easily!!!“
“I was in town from Cali and decided to stop by after reading the reviews and how close I was to their spot. The vibe is cool. The music is unique and my drink is/was delicious. I decided to put my favorite flavors together and I was not disappointed. Somehow they knew just how to mix it all up.I“
