We ate there while on vacation and their coffee and their twist on french toast was the best I’ve had. The service was top notch and the cafe was very clean :)
Highly recommend stopping in.

We are in New Orleans from Minnesota and I wanted grits for breakfast; something rarely done right where we live.
I had the smothered pork chop with grits and my husband had the shrimp and grits.
It. Was. Heaven.
I can only eat a small amount of food and I rarely miss the days where I could inhale massive portions of food, but today was that day.

Fantastic community breakfast and brunch spot. The Carol B Belle was delicious, the gravy paired well with the shrimp and sausage. The Sweetness was delicious too. Had a strawberry snowball to go on a hot day was perfect. The owner was super nice.

Cafe Porche & Snowbar offers delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, often greeting guests at the door and thanking everyone for their patience. The food is great, with meals like the Lakeview breakfast with grilled catfish, eggs, potatoes and grits with French toast, liver and onions, the rib plate, the Carol B Bell dish, shrimp and grits, and gumbo all being amazing. The gravy is superb, grits and potatoes cooked to perfection, and the ribs are so tender the bone pulls out. The coffee is amazing and the cinnamon rolls are heavenly. The service is wonderful and the people are the best. The patio looks lovely, and the music and smell of food cooking set a nice tone. While the restaurant can be very busy with one person taking orders, bringing patience is recommended. This spot is worth visiting for a warm place with amazing breakfast and chill vibes.
