If you’re in New Orleans and craving a classic Southern brunch, you can’t go wrong with the smothered shrimp and grits at Porche Cafe. Their dish is a delightful symphony of flavors, featuring succulent Gulf shrimp atop creamy, stone-ground grits. It’s a dish that truly embodies the spirit of New Orleans cuisine—comforting, rich, and utterly delicious. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Porche Cafe's shrimp and grits are a must-try for an authentic taste of the city's culinary heritage. .
This place is a great little gem. Cocktails were smooth and delicious. Shrimp and grits well flavored and cooked. French toast with just the right amount of sweetness. And an amazing server who was welcoming and had great recommendations! We felt so welcome.

Authentic food with great flavor. This place was a small little place with great food. Had the French toast, catfish and cheesy grits. Amazing food. The grits were my favorite so good. Didn't know they could be that good. I'm not accustomed to grits but we're delicious. A must try.

Porche Cafe & SnowbarWow. Everything I tasted was delicious. I’m a local; this is my new brunch spot. The owner Coronella Porche took care of us and she was sweet as the honey peach tea cocktail Porche Paradise she served us.The staff got hit with a sudden rush or 20+ people at the same time. Despite the rush, Coronella seated the 8 of us, served us, and closed us out in less than an hour.Highlights: gumbo, Caesar dressing, Porche paradise sweet peach tea cocktail, veggie omelette.Thank you Coronella! I will be back soon!Vegetarian options: Vegan beans and rice were good! So was the veggie omelette.

Soooo...I specifically stopped by this restaurant because of the reviews. It was aMAZing! The Beybellle (spell ✅) with Shrimp is the best shrimp and grits I've ever had! And I've had a lot of shrimp and grits! My daughter had the french toast, made with brioche, I believe. That also was amazing. I highly recommend this place!Update: I originally visited Cafe Porche in December of 2019. I recently doubled back to see if they still had the best shrimp and grits. I was not disappointed! I would still give them 5 stars. Such a hidden gem! And the customer service was excellent as usual.
