I live nearby and pop in regularly for a loaf of bread and the occasional treat. (Ayu’s king cake is among the best.)Today, I made a quick cookie-specific visit. When I announced my intentions, Samantha asked if I’d like an ice cream sandwich — even better. It was delicious.The delicately spicy jalapeño cornbread cookie paired perfectly with strawberry ice cream (studded with chunks of fruit). Hope to see this on the menu soon.
Jalapeño Cornbread Cookies- Crispy and soft with a kick. A good cortado sitting across from Washington Square. Their shroom boom is like a mini Croatian bürek. Friendly. I can't think of a reason to go anywhere else.

I stopped in this morning for a little treat for me my girls at Voodoo Harley-Davidson, I got the chocolate knot, Boudain Boy and the shroom boom and let me just tell you, Y'all put the happy in the "Happy Dance"!!!! Everything was delicious!!! We love you Ayu!!!
