Excellent place to go and grab classic Italian sweets and Gelato! Would have given it a 5 star review but after a couple visits the service consistently wasn't that great for me... Especially given how much differently others were treated around me. Still... the products are good.

Angelo Brocato is a charming, historic gem known for its delicious cappuccinos, gelato, and pastries. The rainbow cookies are a favorite, and the decor adds to the unique experience. The place offers amazing gelato, Italian ice, and homemade desserts, with flavors like Boci (chocolate hazelnut), praline, and raspberry gelato. The Spumoni is incredible and the tiramisu cake is always delicious. They also have a blueberry tart and cheesecake which are equally amazing. They also have fresh-pack pints and quarts, as well as pastry boxes tied with red twine. It is a New Orleans institution, often with a line out the door, but prices are reasonable for such a popular spot. The staff is wonderful and friendly, ensuring a pleasant experience. Perfect for a post-dinner treat, they serve fresh cannolis, espresso, and a variety of Italian treats. Some parking challenges exist, but the short walk is worth it. Overall, Angelo Brocato is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind place that visitors should not miss.
