“Small coffee shop focused on quality with house made syrups and locally roasted coffee. Not a lot of space to hang out or work from but that’s a small price to pay for a very delicious beverage. Had a good feeling about this place and it met my expectation at the first sip. The Moxie drink (brown sugar vanilla shaken espresso) is strong and sweet, just how I like it. Will definitely be back to try more!“

“Fabulous catering for your special occasion! We recently used Causeway Cafe for a party of 50. It was completely hassle free for us hosting and the food was fantastic! Don’t know where to start? Let them plan your menu, that’s what we did. Shrimp and grits, gumbo, potato salad, every type of finger sandwich and party platter served up our evening. Thank you!“

“Traveling Foodie here! My husband and I visited the O’Reillys and asked them a good place to eat in town and they sent us to Joe’s! We are from Texas and was driving back to Gonzales from taking an airboat tour and we were hungry!! Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and grits, my husband got the JoJo special and we shared the Joe’s swamp fries and we at every bike! The swamp fries we ordered the sauce on the side and the fish had such a good breading on it, and the food was fresh right out of the kitchen!! The sauce was AMAZING they sell it by the package to take it with you!! I plan to go back because we did not try any of the beignets or pastries, they all looked amazing though and will be trying them SOON! It will be worth the drive and the husband and wife that works there at the Metairie location where as sweet as can be! Very helpful, very friendly and made us feel welcomed and right at home! Service was excellent, we were well taken care of! Thank you again for the wonderful meal and experience!🍽😍“

Been going here with my family for as long as I can remember. We order take out from here at least twice a week. Consistent, quick, delicious. And friendly staff. Well-run! “Everyone there is so friendly and the manager goes above and beyond. Loved the atmosphere in there and you can't go wrong with the coffee and don't forget to grab a delicious danish, fresh made each morning, only if they don't sale out before you get there. They are that good.“

“My first experience at a Cafe Du Monde was at this location a few days ago. The staff was extremely kind and the environment was calm even though it is located inside the mall. It was a good break from the mall environment and super cute! The beignets were delicious, I can understand why they are a staple! “It is more of a bar because kids can't go in there but the food is absolutely delicious. Their filet mignon is delicious at a fair price with two sides. I did have the Chile and tots which I'm not really a big fan of because it tastes like the Hormel chili out of the can.“

“For years I worked in retail. When I first walk into a retail establishment, I am sensitive to general ambience, presentation of product, cleanliness, staff morale. I can safely say that the Puccino’s Coffee located next to Lakeside Mall excels in all these categories. This can be directly attributed to the manager, Donna. Donna is very conscientious about the appearance of her store. The floors and tables are clean, product is fully stocked and meticulously displayed, no trash or debris anywhere, trash receptacles never over flowing. In addition, Donna’s staff genuinely likes her and responds positively to her. Clearly, Donna is an asset to the Puccino’s Coffee family. Puccino’s at this location is definitely my Go-To place to relax and enjoy a large Skinny Granita.“

“The most Polite Host Naja helped me at the counter and was 20 out of 10 patient with me trying to decide on what to choose from and then she had my order and coffee ready so fast and perfect with no mistakes even while waiting on more customers in line.
Then I spoke to one of the most genuine nicest service men there wiping down tables that were already spotless to the eye and getting the sitting area prepared for paitrions to start arriving. We got into a discussion immediately about our morning and today's world 🌎 which was so awesome. He genuinely cared about our conversation and paid attention the convo wasn't just pushing me along. As a Military personnel standpoint this is exactly what we need in today's workplace 🙌... Plus they had offered Military discount as well. So many places have gotten away from appreciating out Military with a simple small discount for what they do, and it does go a long way.
Thank you so much La Madeleine for this awesome start to my Thursday morning. I will definitely be telling everyone on Base about my experience and will come back again, and again from now on. Hope everyone has a blessed day and gets a raise and award of some sort.“
